Shawna is AMAZING! Words cannot describe how happy I am I chose her to do my hair and makeup! I originally wanted her for my engagement party but I was too late, so I made sure I snagged her for my big day :) and I couldn’t be happier! Then Covid hit and we didn’t know what we were going to do about our wedding. Our venue was on lockdown then there were so many restrictions so we finally decided to go to a chapel in Tahoe. I wasn’t planning on having a makeup/hair artist for Tahoe but I reached out to Shawna anyway to make sure it was okay to come to my trial and when I got there she was so welcoming and bubbly! She made me feel comfortable and made me look like a million bucks when she was done lol. When I told her we were going to be in Tahoe rather than Fremont, she did not mind one bit about making the trip to Tahoe, so I brought her with me :) she showed up early and with a happy attitude. She took her time and paid close attention to detail with my makeup and hair and I didn’t have to touch up at all through the afternoon/evening. My husband was in awe of my wedding day look and I have to give the credit to the artist who made the magic happen! Lol Thank you Shawna and I hope to use you in future events :)

The best, ever! Shawna is super awesome and I was in love with her work. She is simply magical and does wonders with her work! Words wouldn't be sufficient to describe how great of an artist she is! Simply put, Shawna is the dream make-up artist. Your wedding day is something you think about YEARS in advance and without a doubt I know Shawna will make your vision come true. She showed up to my bridal suite bright and early with a smile and energetic attitude. She brought the party with her and played music, got the girls to wake up and was very timely. She stayed true to her timeline and ALL of the girls looked FABULOUS! The MOB was even ecstatic and felt like she should be wearing a tiara she looked so beautiful. Shawna was amazing!! I was coming to California from Utah for my wedding and she made everything from the trial to the day of so easy! Makeup and hair was very important to me when making all of the necessary wedding plans. And Shawna surpassed all of my expectations. She was very responsive, punctual and accommodating which is amazing and not always the case when working with any wedding vendor. She did my hair and makeup for the wedding and all of the makeup for the bridal party. She was amazing to work with and even came to me for my trial since I wasn't able to make it to her studio. She replicated the exact natural look I was dreaming of at the trial and my wedding day. She was so patient and fun to be around and made sure everyone felt beautiful. Everyone at the wedding complimented me on my makeup and hair and I have never looked better. My makeup and hair lasted all night and looked the same at midnight as it was 15 hours prior when she applied it. I was so impressed with Shawna from our very first conversation. She was so professional and helpful and always quick to respond to any question I had. From our makeup trial to the actual wedding day she did such an incredible job and listened to what I wanted and really made my wedding day look become a reality. She did my whole bridal party’s makeup as well as both Moms and every single person was pleased with her work. We made a wedding day timeline to make sure we stayed on track with all the girls and timing, and she followed it to a tee and even had us done a bit early. If you're looking for a professional hair and makeup artist for ANY event, then Shawna from Girl With A Curlingiron is the one for you! I hired Shawna to do hair and makeup at both my bridal shower and my destination wedding in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. Both times, the results were incredible!!! For starters, we scheduled my trial run a few months before my wedding to make sure we were set for the big day. I searched Pinterest for photos of hair and makeup I liked and showed them to her before we began. She offered her expert opinion on what she thought would look/work best with my hair, skin tone, eye color, etc. (She's a true artist who knows her stuff!) From there we agreed upon a look and the rest is history! She did a fabulous job creating the looks we wanted - and honestly, I was so grateful for her expert opinion steering me in the right direction! **If you're like me, a girl with a LOT of hair, I find it difficult to get volume. Let me tell you, Shawna can get your hair ALL the volume you need to hold any hairstyle! As for makeup, I fell in love with airbrush makeup. Not only does it look flawless, but it stays on ALL DAY. As I mentioned previously, I got married in Cabo, in June - it's hot, humid, and sticky in June but my makeup stayed put and looked perfect.** For both my bridal shower and my wedding, I felt so beautiful. At my wedding, Shawna took on the not-so-easy task of also getting my bridesmaids hair and makeup ready. She worked her butt off and had an upbeat, positive attitude while doing so. I'll end with saying this...Trusting someone with your hair and makeup on your biggest of days is HUGE. I felt 100% comfortable with Shawna, as she is so sweet, reliable, talented, and has a great energy about her. I can’t say enough amazing things about Shawna! She was such a pleasure to work with throughout my wedding process and is such a gem. She’s super organized, patient and made me feel at ease from the moment I met her. She went out of her way to do a trial for me months before my wedding several hours away- she took the time to play with different looks and ensure I found something I loved. Days before my wedding- we talked through different styles, the extensions I needed, and we landed on something I was super comfortable and excited about. On the day of my wedding, she turned my vision into reality and I could not be happier with the final result- it exceeded my expectations. I loved my hair and my look! Shawna did a wonderful job with my hair for my wedding. For my trial, she made me feel really comfortable, even though I just met her. She gave me some advice for where to look for different pins for my hair, and did the style exactly as I had shown her through some pictures. On the day of, she was on time and made everyone feel great about their hair. A few of my crew were a little nervous because they are particular about their hair, but Shawna made them look great and alleviated any of their concerns. She worked well along with my makeup artist, and I am really happy I chose to have her do my hair for my wedding.

I was having a hard time feeling comfortable with a hair and makeup artist until I found/met Shawna. She was INCREDIBLE. And I am very picky with my hair, I rarely like it when I get it done. I only used her for hair since my cousin is a makeup artist and volunteered her skills for the big day, but Shawna is a queen when it comes to hair. I ended up wanting something different than what we had planned during my trial, and she was supportive and confidant in the last minute change. Everyone's hair looked amazing. My mom has very thin and fine hair and I wasn't sure exactly what we could do with it, but Shawna put it in a tight elegant twist that withheld even the fiercest winds. That brings me to the other part I need to praise her for. NO ONES hair fell out. I was at two weddings in the past 6 months both of which the bride's or one of the bridesmaid's hair did not make it through the night. We took beach photos with some crazy wind. Like blew my veil of my head kind of wind. And everyone's hair continued to look perfect. Not a strand out of place. Not to mention, she is the girl you want hanging out with you and your bridesmaids all day long. She's awesome. Thank you, Shawna!

Shawna held my hand all the way through the time leading up to the wedding. I had concerns with the varying types of hair with my bridesmaids and we weren't experienced in styling our own hair and having it last for hours so we weren't quite sure what to do. She let us know everything we need to do in order to prep our hair for her so that the styling would last the whole night. All the girls wanted a different style and she did an excellent job on everyone's hair.

Wow, where do I begin!? I had the pleasure of first meeting Shawna when I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding. Not only did I absolutely love my hair that day, I also feel in love with her personality and hair techniques. So when it was time to choose a hair stylist for my own wedding, I did not hesitate to contact Shawna and ask if she was available. Luckily, she was and was also accepting in the fact that my wedding was almost 200 miles away! I was so thrilled she and I could work together again. Our hair trail went seemlessly and we immediately picked a style that would accent my dress and overall wedding theme. On the day of the wedding, she not only did my hair, she styled all 4 of my bridesmaids AND the mother of the groom. Again, her amazing personality shined and everyone commented how much they enjoyed working with her. All SIX hair styles were different and ALL of them looked amazing on each girl. We even did extensions in my hair for contrast, which I had never had before (so I wasn’t sure how it would come out). Let’s just say the overall outcome looked AMAZING! And it is something I would try again. Everyone’s hair stayed the WHOLE night, even through all the dancing. Shawna even came with us to the First Look and Bridal Party pictures before the ceremony (just in case anyone needed touch ups or fixing). I absolutely loved working with Shawna for my wedding! Her prices included a trial, which gave me the opportunity to show her what I was interested in and have her get to know me (and my style!). While I liked my trial, I was blown away by what she did with my hair and make up for my special day! She truly listened to what I wanted and made me feel like the most beautiful and confident version of myself! In addition to this, she is super friendly and easy to talk to, which helps to make your big day less stressful, as well! I would book her again in a heartbeat!!

Shawna did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot! She was super responsive when emailing back and forth and gave me some great tips to prepare my hair and skin beforehand. Amazing! Definitely throwing in the cliche: she made me feel like a princess (seriously). I had found Shawna in my stressful search of someone who can make a fabulous, big, bold fish tail braid for my first event in my big, fat Indian wedding. Shawna did a fantastic job on both my hair and make up for my Sangeet. Though she hadn't done too many indian brides before, she was so great at working together with me, Mom and my bigger sister to figure out what works well with my skin tones, eye shape and hair type. Not only did she work with my extensions and naturally thick hair type so well, she executed the most perfect side braid I had exactly envisioned. Having jet black hair can be challenging to make interesting - but Shawna nailed it with her creativity. Lastly, finding the right concealer and perfect balance of WOW for my eyes did take a few iterations (lots of trying + practice pictures with flash + trying not to look too made up). Shawna was able to figure out out seamlessly with such a great go-with-the-flow attitude despite my many sounding boards. As the bride, I had performed a deeply expressive bollywood dance - with emotions shown through my eyes and the way Shawna made it pop was the perfect complement. I'd highly recommend Shawna to Indian brides because she completely nailed my hair AS WELL AS the romantic effortless styles for my mom and my sister. They were constantly complimented all night long. We loved working with her and her amazing attitude was just a cherry on top to get me excited for the weekend ahead :) PS as an even sweeter perk -- I couldn't use my hands to take off my existing make up (henna hands) so Shawna gave me a great mini cleansing facial to help :)

Choosing Shawna as my hairstylist was truly one of the best decisions I made for my wedding!! She is incredibly kind, FUN, and not to mention an amazingly talented stylist! She managed to make my bridal party's hair STUNNING, and was so fast! Not to mention, she went above and beyond... she was sewing up my dress when it ripped getting caught in a golf cart tire.... She was with my all the way up until the ceremony, and ran right up and fixed my hair when needed. She had also just gotten her windshield smashed that morning and still showed up on time and with a smile on her face. You will not go wrong hiring Shawna!

How can I express my gratitude for Shawna and her insane talent?! First of all, she really took her time guiding me through the booking process, answering all of my (8 million!) questions and put me at ease that I could trust her to understand my vision for my small, intimate wedding. She made some suggestions when I couldn't decide on one particular look and was able to blend elements from several photos I showed her. I paid her a visit at her cute private studio and she took her time with me and explained every step and answered (another 8 million) questions I had about the cosmetics and products she was using. We laughed the whole time. I left feeling like a million bucks and couldn't wait to see her again on my wedding day! (I even hired her for my bridal shower, engagement shoot and a friend's birthday party, I loved her that much!) On the day of, she came equipped with everything (and more!) she needed to make us all look amazing! (Sorry, Kim K! I think she has your team beat! haha!) She kept everyone on time and no one felt rushed. I think we were actually a little early! She sent us all off with extra lipstick so we could touch up later. I thought that was a really nice touch! Not a single one of my bridesmaids felt like they didn't look incredible! Shawna really has a talent and I would recommend her a million times over! Shawna was so amazing! I can't even begin to describe how beautiful she made me look! First off, the price with her is PERFECT! I did a ton of research to see what was out there, and her work is miles above the competition, and her price is way better. I went to the trial, knowing some things I enjoyed, but having some gaps in what I wanted, and she did a great job of listening, and going through everything with me to make a perfect look. Day of she did all of my bridesmaids, and they all look gorgeous, and when she got to me, I asked for more sparkle than we did int he trial and she had no problem making my dream a reality, she was patient with me when I couldn't stop crying, and she was amazing and helping me find a perfect lip color day of, since what we had originally planned wasn't quite right with the whole look. In the end she made me truly beautiful, and I can not wait to get the photos back, so I can show off her work! You are making the perfect choice by going with her!

I eloped from out of state in August of 2018. I spent a lot of time looking at photos and reading reviews before contacting a few makeup artist or salons. I was not able to have a trial, and I don’t know anyone in CA, so honestly I was very nervous about hair and makeup and I’m a picky person. Shawna has a great personality and seemed very genuine. The genuine part was huge for me, and communication with her started to put me at ease. I was not allowed to have anyone come into my rental home, and the venue wasn’t sure they could accommodate an early check in, so there were circumstances to work through. Shawna went above and beyond. She communicated about my skin, the look I wanted, and all the details. She was at the venue early, has a calm but upbeat nature, and she did a fabulous job. My makeup looked great and the photos were awesome. I highly recommend Shawna! Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day.

I had sweet Shawna do my hair for my big day on September 1st for me, my five bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law. Besides being down to earth and funny, she truly captured the hair style I wanted for my special day. We started out with a trial about 9 months before. I had shown her a picture idea for some inspiration in what I was looking for and she nailed the look giving suggestions on how it would look best with my hair type. On the day of she made it look even better then at the trial. All my girls were thrilled with how their hair turned out. I love you Shawna! Shawna did an absolute STUNNING job for my wedding. My hair was even more perfect than I could have imagined!! If you are looking for the natural, boho look she is perfect. She also did so many cool styles on my bridesmaids. We did not look overdone and everyone looked amazing- the girls were raving about how great she and her partner were! Highly recommend!!!!

Shawna was terrific! My wedding-day hair looked fabulous and so did all my bridesmaids’ and my mother. She is very detail oriented and takes her time to make sure your hair looks absolutely PERFECT! She is very professional and friendly. She arrived nice and early on my wedding day and took her time to make sure every piece of hair was in the perfect place on my head 🙂 My hair stayed “put” all day and night. Shawna was absolutely a dream to work with and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! I first found Shawna for my engagement shoot and was so happy with how it went I knew I needed to use her for the wedding as well. She did both my hair and makeup for both and I loved what she did. I don't usually wear makeup so it was important to me to still look like me when she was finished and she totally delivered. The makeup was flawless and made me look great but didn't look at all overly done up. Her skills with eye make up in particular are out of this world. I still don't quite know how she does it! She's also just a wonderful thoughtful generous person who clearly takes pride and joy in her job. It made it such a pleasure to work with her. She also did my bridesmaids hair and Allie who she works with did their makeup and everyone looked phenomenal. On the wedding day they were punctual and kept everything on track which was great! SHAWNA IS THE BEST. Seriously, if you do not book her for your wedding, you will be missing out on a perfect start to your wedding day. I really don't think that people realize how important that a) professional hair/makeup is VERY important when you are being photographed b) your hair/makeup team are the ones who set the tone for your whole day. They can make or break it. I booked Shawna for my Boudoir Photo session before my wedding. She NAILED it. And gave me all the confidence I needed for such an intimidating session. Her work gives you a look, but a look that accentuates your own features, not too over the top. And my hair looked like I had extensions, such amazing styling! For my wedding, she just did our hair. I wanted a tricky, clean & classic French style for my hair, and she got it perfect. The most important part of my experience with Shawna is that she was on time (actually way early) and when I walked into the room she was giggling with my bridesmaids and had lively music playing creating a great energy for the day. I have to also tell you.... the other person I hired for makeup did not deliver the same experience. They were very late and actually delayed my wedding day. If I had hired Shawna's team, I knew that would not have happened. You can put your trust in her to deliver everything you could ask for and more. She is also super responsive and professional, and just a total sweetheart. She truly cares for everyone. Shawna is amazing!! I found her when she was working at a local salon 2 years ago and she's been my go-to glam gal ever since. I will get hair & makeup done for personal occasions and never found anyone else who could make me look as great as she does. So when I was getting married I knew she had to be there and she gave me and my girls hairstyles and make up better than any of us imagined and is an absolute joy to work with. My trial session with her went over 3 hours because she wanted to make sure I got my looks perfected before the big day. She came to my home and setup, which was super easy and then set everything up at our hotel suite the morning of the wedding. No matter where she's at she gets the best quality work. She's always super responsive to my messages (even with my texting of bridal hairstyle ideas for months!) and the entire process from contract to the end of the wedding day was the easiest thing I had to handle as far as wedding planning went . I cannot say enough great things about her, and I would definitely recommend Shawna to anyone who wants to look the best version of themselves.

Shawna is hands down the most professional hair stylist I have ever worked with, not to mention she is talented and does amazing work! She listened to what I described and made it happen on the first try. On our wedding day, she had to do the hair of eight ladies, and she got them all done in under the time we had budgeted, and made sure we were all 100% happy before she left. After 3 different trial sessions with other people for hair and makeup, I was starting to lose hope that I wouldn't be able to find someone to make me look how I wanted to look on my wedding day. (It didn't help that 2 of the people were very unprofessional) I took one last look for artists and stylists and one of my bridesmaids recommended Shawna. (she had worked with her before with another wedding) Shawna came with her amazing hair and make up set-up (she had an awesome make up chair and a light on top of her extensive make up kit) and I felt like an A-list celebrity! She took the time to listen to what I wanted done, viewed photos of what I was envisioning and asked some questions about my skin, make up/hair routine and about the style of dress I was wearing so that she could get an idea of what I wanted done and how it would best meet my needs. I didn't realize how much that info would contribute to the end result. It's like she read my mind and put the picture on my face and hair! She was no only professional but warm and friendly. I booked her on the spot! Even working with her before the wedding was great! She responded to my emails/texts almost immediately and quickly answered any questions or concerns that I had. I loved that she even put together a timeline for my wedding day for my bridal party so that it all ran smoothly. (not something I've ever seen done!) She showed up on my wedding day early, and with an upbeat, chipper attitude and chatted away with my bridal party while working and we all just loved her! (She even brought us some champagne to sip!) I was impressed with how even through all the tears, sweat and kisses, my makeup didn't budge and my hair remained in place the whole night. With my other trials, the hair fell within a few hours and the face and eye makeup didn't look very fresh after about 2 hours. Even after having cake smashed into my face and wiping it off, my make up looked pretty good! LOL She is a beauty GENIUS! Thanks so much Shawna! You're a miracle worker!

I just cannot say enough about Shawna.... She took so much stress off of my wedding planning just by being able to not only do both hair and make up (like who seriously has time to interview and decide on BOTH a hairstylist and make up artist?!) but she gave me a lot of advice with wedding planning and helped me keep my cool. She always responded to each email and text within an hour, even in the late evenings when I knew she was relaxing. And answered each question promptly, no matter how silly it was. She was overly punctual when showing up for my hair and make up trial (and even brought along some starbucks, SCORE!), she took her time listening to what I envisioned and took ideas from the million photos I showed her and created a personalized look I ADORED! She even made appointments for me and my bridal party for the day of to help the day go easier. I loved how organized she is. She treated each of us like a queen and I felt so incredibly beautiful on my wedding day! I couldn't have asked for a better person to do my wedding hair and make up!! I hit the Beautification JACKPOT when I booked the very talented Shawna for my Hair and makeup! I was fortunate enough to have her apply her skills on me for my engagement photos, bridal shower, and then she and her Dream Team beautified my large bridal party of 11 ladies along with my mom and our wedding officiant the day I was married. It was an out of town wedding and they showed up punctually, energetic, organized and ready to work bright and early. Needless to say, everyone was completely satisfied with the outcome and I hope to book her again in the future to doll me up for pregnancy photos when the time comes! Shawna is a very personable individual who made me feel so comfortable (like I knew her forever) the first time we met and also confident with myself where normally I wouldn't be when being the subject of so many pictures and as the center of attention. Knowing that the feeling I have when I look back at all the pictures of the recent events in my life are that I wouldn't have changed a thing is an amazing feeling indeed and I credit my hair and makeup artists for having a huge hand in that! Other than saying yes to marrying the man of my dreams, choosing Shawna as my hair and make up artist has been my best decision ever! She is extremely responsive, getting back to me within hours of every email I have ever sent her, very flexible, and unbelievably talented. I knew I wanted hair extensions for the day of the wedding, but I knew nothing about them. Shawna met with me at a beauty supply store, color matched me, and helped me find the exact extensions I needed. She did my wedding trial the day of my engagement shoot, carefully listened to my thoughts and helped me shape my vision. She was also fully prepared with glam equipment and made me feel like a rock star in my own home. She is simply what you need for your wedding day without a doubt. Do yourself a favor, call her immediately and check hair and make up off your list.

Shawna has done both my hair AND makeup several times for maternity and family photos and has always done such an amazing job! Whether it's been for indoor studio photos or outdoor photos, she's been amazing and I can't wait to use her again!

Shawna is such a blessing I cannot even begin to explain! My wedding day came fast, and I was in such a bridal haze that Shawna really helped me see things clearly. She is not only a beautiful person inside and out, but she made me feel like the light within me shined brightly, and I felt like my authentic self on my special day. She was attentive, sensitive to my requests and a genuine gift of hidden talent. She did my wedding day make-up, as well as hair for my bridesmaids. We all had such a blast together and I know I look fondly on the time before the ceremony/reception with her and my girls! Also! I wanted to mention-THIS girl-Shawna was such a valuable part of my wedding day celebration. After the ceremony-which as you know can be very emotional- Shawna was waiting for me outside (before pictures) to dry my tears, and re-apply make-up as needed. I looked, and felt gorgeous the ENTIRE day. Thank you dear- so much love to you and your endeavors.

Shawna did my hair and makeup for my birthday, she did the most amazing job! She understood the look I was trying to achieve and made me look gorgeous. I highly recommend Shawna, she is wonderful and talented!

Shawna is the best! She did my hair and makeup for my engagement pictures and it was beautiful! Not only is she amazing at what she does, she's also so so nice and accommodating! I had to reschedule last minute and she made it work. I would recommend her to anyone!

What more can I say other than that this girl is AMAZING!!!!! She is so incredibly talented with both hair AND makeup! (Not too many people excel at BOTH!) And on top of it all, she is so stinking cute and sweet!!! She had me laughing the whole time she was working on me. Definitely helped take some of the wedding day jitters away for a while. She made me and my whole bridal party look so beautiful! She even did my mom's makeup at the last minute and wow, I have never seen my mom look so incredible! What can I add that was said on the other reviews. Shawna is very talented. My makeup and hair has been done by a lot of amazing stylist but now I found a new favorite that is local. She is my go to whenever I have any formal events to attend. My husband wished I could take her with us when we travel around the world for weddings because she makes me so happy with what she does.

The bad part of writing this review is it only allows 5 stars...Shawna deserves so many more! She is the best! She did my hair and makeup, as well as my mom's hair and makeup for the wedding. I have never felt so beautiful, I wish I had Shawna around everyday! My mom looked AMAZING, she was so gorgeous. Shawna set up a trial a few weeks before the wedding, and it was an instant connection. She is so personable, professional and sweet. I am SO glad I found her and I look forward to hopefully working with her again! HIGHLY recommend!

When I first got engaged I knew I had to start finding the makeup and hair person as soon as possible. So like any other bride I searched the web and it was a bit overwhelming. A friend of mine highly recommended Shawna and once I saw the pictures I knew this is the girl I wanted. I called her and she had me come in for a trial at her house. Shawna was such a warm and knowledgeable person. I usually wear very minimal makeup so my main concern was looking like myself. When Shawna was done, I looked at myself in the mirror and I was so unbelievably happy with the results. I looked so beautiful. My face and skin looked incredible and my eyes. My eyes were amazing!!! And my hair looked so touchable and beautiful! I knew right away this was the makeup/hair person I had to have! The day of my wedding, Shawna and another artist Allie had to do 8 people. She came, set up and started right away. I loved it. She made my bridesmaids look amazing. They were so happy with the way they looked. As a wedding present, I treated my mom to get her makeup done. My mom has NEVER worn makeup in her whole life (this is a true statement!) So obviously, I was a little concerned how she would feel. She was uneasy at first but once Shawna started on her, my mom felt like a queen. When she was done with her, my mom said she has never felt so beautiful in her life. That moment was so priceless for me. When Shawna got to me I was so nervous. Not for Shawna doing my makeup & hair, but I felt so many emotions as the hours were counting down to the wedding. Shawna calmed me down and talked me through it. I was so happy to have her there. Once she was done with my makeup, I truly felt like a bride and that this was the best I had ever looked in my life. Shawna has such a talent. I am the first of my friends to get married and I will highly recommend her. She made my wedding day :)

So I have no words to describe how incredibly satisfied I am with Shawna! She did my make up a few times and every time I was so impressed. She is professional and comes to you completely prepared, with a chair and a light that make you feel magical. I have to give her the biggest shout out for my wedding makeup. She made me look flawless. She took her time making sure my makeup was perfect. I wore the make up from 11AM-2AM and everything stayed perfect. In my pictures you can't tell if i just got my makeup done or if I was wearing it for hours because it looked that good. I showed her a few pics of what I wanted and bam she did it to the T!!! Overall I 100% recommend her!!! And I can't wait to use her for my next event!!!

I was maid of honor for a friends wedding and we surprised the wedding party with hair and makeup from Shawna. We flew her up to Seattle and she was so sweet and easy to work with. She took her time on each of us so we didn't feel rushed. She was very professional and great personality. She was also very easy to book and great prices for the great work she did. Will definitely use her again and highly recommend her

Shawna is seriously the best there is! I originally hired her to do the hair for me and my 4 bridesmaids but when I learned that she did make up as well, I booked my trial with her right away! She is seriously the most talented and sweetest person and makes you feel like you and her have known each other your whole life. My bridesmaids and I all felt so beautiful! (With the risk of sounding gross, I didn't wash my face before bed that night and when I woke up the next morning, my makeup and hair still looked amazing!
