Giuseppe Fine Catering

Giuseppe's name makes our families smile thinking back on our wedding day. We hired him and his team for our wedding dinner, our wedding bar service, and eventually added on a catered rehearsal dinner. All three were fantastic. He and his staff were incredibly professional and kind not only during the menu planning/tasting process, but in every correspondence leading up to the wedding and during the wedding itself. Even the young servers kindly wished us congratulations as they rushed between the kitchen and dining room making sure every detail was perfect. His executive chef, Chef Rashi, greeted me as I snuck into Scripps with a smile and a congratulations. He remembered us from our second tasting, which he knocked out of the park! All of this plus wonderful service for our plated dinner AND the food was PHENOMENAL. People call and text us just to tell us how good the food was. Giuseppe and his team worked closely with us to make sure the menu was exactly what we wanted, including making some changes and customizations to our entrees and helping us sort out our dessert selection. For our rehearsal dinner we had their catered boxed dinners, which are honestly enough food for two people and this was also absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop eating. And they came delivered right on time in these convenient, temperature control bags. I honestly may drive to Candor soon and ask him to recreate our wedding dinner just so I can eat it again. Thank you Giuseppe, Chef Rashi, and your entire staff for making our wedding so memorable and extra special.

One of the “must haves” at our wedding was a family style dinner, and Giuseppe and his team delivered with so much more than we could have ever imagined! The food was incredible, everything tasted amazing, and our dinner ended up being one of the biggest highlights of the day for me! The wait staff was wonderful, every table got their food at the same time, and the whole dinner service went off without a hitch! We recently used Giuseppe’s Fine Catering to cater our 45-person wedding at La Jolla Woman’s Club. My husband and I decided that we wanted a brunch wedding, and Giuseppe absolutely delivered on the brunch aspect. Our guests loved the custom omelet bar, and the French toast was delicious. Plus there were options for everyone - from quiche to mini bagels to fresh fruit + berries to a charcuterie table. Everyone from Giuseppe was incredibly nice and professional. We also appreciated how flexible they were when we had to postpone our wedding twice (from April 2020 to November 2020 to November 2021). Thank you to Giuseppe in helping make our brunch wedding amazing!

We hired Giuseppe for bar service at Scripps Seaside Forum for our wedding. Although Giuseppe's is the only choice for catering alcohol at Scripps Seaside Forum, we were glad that it was Giuseppe! Christina, our sales consultant, was super helpful and responsive to our questions and requests. We were able to BYOB (purchased from BevMo) where we created our own drinks menu for Giuseppe bar team to serve. The bar setup was amazing and I heard from our guests that the bartenders did an awesome job keeping the drinks flowing. Highly recommended!

We contracted Giuseppe's bar services for our wedding reception at Scripps Seaside Forum. We had a seamless experience working with Erin. She is very detailed-oriented and graciously fielded our many contract questions. We were very happy with the "Top Shelf" Package. We believe their prices are very reasonable for liquor (compared to purchasing on your own alcohol and running the risk of getting it wrong!). Our guests loved our signature drink created by their bartenders and I loved that they accommodated my request to garnish with blueberries. Everyone at our wedding loved the bar staff's friendliness and service.

Giuseppe's did an amazing job catering our rehearsal dinner before our wedding. Morgan was our contact through the whole process and she was super helpful and responsive with any questions we had setting the catering up. We had a large group coming so we ended up picking their Italian menu, and it was seriously some of the most delicious food I've had catered! Their pastas, chicken and appetizers were so good - especially the meatballs and arancini. All of our guests complimented us on how amazing the food was, as well as how organized and professional the staff was. The pricing was very affordable for what we were looking for also, and we'd highly recommend Giuseppe's for any catering needs!

Really loved our wedding food catered by Giuseppe Fine Catering. The food choices were modern, inspired, and delicious. Liked that they could use their own kitchen and cart food over to the MCASD next door. Prices were not inexpensive but the food was worth it. Some record-keeping glitches were there, but the overall service was excellent.

We are avid foodies and food quality, presentation, and service are very important to us. Giuseppe FAR exceeded our expectations! Highly recommend.

I chose Giuseppe as our caterer for our wedding in La Jolla (Museum of Contemporary Art) for 170 guests, and could not have been happier that we did so. Since I wasn't from San Diego, I relied mostly on Yelp and other wedding reviews for recommendations. I did a lot of research at first, not immediately choosing Giuseppe even though I know he did most of the catering for the museum, being Asian and thinking perhaps Giuseppe was too much on the 'Italian' side of cooking. However, after our food tasting and consistent communication w/ Giuseppe himself (which showed his professionalism and service), he was hands down the winner (We canceled our other food tastings at that point). Giuseppe worked within our budget, gave advice on setup and decor, and was flexible with our menu (eg, swapping in chicken skewers for my Asian family instead of endive spoons). The quality of the food at the wedding was EXCELLENT, matching that exactly of our food tasting (even though they had to produce 170 plates instead of 2!), and there were nice little touches of presentation that night, that I did not expect. As a bride, I have to admit I was more focused on the band/music and other decor/details - so it was SO nice to not have to worry about the catering. We got rave reviews about the food from family and friends both at the wedding and after...He made the night a truly classy and memorable evening, and would highly recommend his service to anyone.

Giuseppe is the best chef/caterer in LA Jolla. He created beautiful dishes for our wedding and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was. Thanks Giuseppe for creating a wonderful fare of food for our special day!
