Giusto Newport

If you are planning a rehearsal dinner or family get together there is no better place than Giusto. The food was absolutely exquisite. It was unique, great flavors and taste with lots of options. Plates were served family style with 4 people per plate which meant you were passing food all over the place and could continue conversations. The back porch was a perfect way to experience Newport. Covered so weather didn't matter, looking over the harbor with the sun setting west over the marina was beautiful. The staff including Staci Barton were like family. The head waiter came up introduced himself and told us whatever we needed just ask. The wait staff were all polite and introducing themselves to the tables. About a week after the event my wife and I went there for dinner at the bar and two or three of the staff asked how the wedding was and wanted to see pictures. They were invested in making for a special evening for the family. After our dinner was done the staff quickly removed a couple of the tables, set up high tops and we had a welcome cocktail party for all guests in town. The hostesses monitored who came in, so we did not end up with wedding crashers! I know there are many places to choose from in Newport. I also know there are not many places with food this great and a perfect atmosphere. Go there, pick this as your spot. You will not be disappointed.

Super helpful staff setting up for our wedding rehearsal lunch reception. The food is always spot on at Giusto (we are regulars there)! Their flavors, textures and presentation are always well executed. We got great feedback from our guests which is nearly impossible given a lot of them work in the restaurant business. Chic vibes with beautiful water views made the ambiance great and we did not have do any additional decorating. Cocktail hour was also great with waiters walking around with hors d'oeuvres plus we had our own little bar outside.

Guisto was outstanding for our rehearsal dinner in every way. It’s hard to beat the beautiful view of Newport Harbor. The food was outstanding from the passed appetizers to the delicious sit down dinner. To top it off, Staci is an absolute joy to work with! We highly recommend!!!

The team at Giusto is amazing and the restaurant itself was the perfect location for our intimate winter wedding. From the first time I met with Staci, the event coordinator, I knew the vibe was right and she completely understood our wish for a comfortable yet elegant evening. Communication was prompt and seamless throughout the entire planning process. We never had to double check on anything - we simply arrived and the flowers, seating, music, cake - EVERYTHING - was perfectly arranged. We never doubted that the food would be on point - it's our favorite restaurant - but our guests are still raving about it. If you love your family & friends, you will let them experience the Giusto Scotch meatballs on your wedding day. The entire staff was so nice and accommodating. At one point, the bartender even made me a plate to make sure I was properly fed! From big picture to tiny details, Giusto was perfection.
