Give Co. Events is proudly run by husband-and-wife duo, Tyler and Jade Goss. College sweethearts, these two love birds married in 2015 and have been gaining experiences in the wedding industry together ever since. From quaint elopements to full-day celebrations, Tyler and Jade are ready to make sure that your celebration looks and runs exactly how you envision.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Give Co Events for my wedding planning, opting for their year-long planning package. While I had high hopes, my experience ultimately fe...
ll short of my expectations. First off, I was disappointed to discover that this package did not include assistance with save the dates, invitations, or signage. After already paying a considerable amount for planning, I found it frustrating that these necessities came with an extra charge. On the wedding day, I noticed my planner had a passive-aggressive demeanor, often making snide remarks to family and friends about budget cuts that I had made or how there were too many people trying to help. There were also disrespectful comments made to our officiant regarding our choice to have our ring bearer carry the real rings. It felt unnecessary and out of place—after all, they were our rings. There were also several important details that were overlooked. For example, we weren’t reminded about items like something to throw as we exited the ceremony or having programs printed. I remembered these details day of and when I brought these up, the response was simply, "No one does that anymore".
Some of the signage we put a lot of effort into was left on the floor instead of being displayed properly. Overall, my experience with Give Co Events was mediocre.

As someone who values being detailed and thorough, I found myself often a few steps ahead. I really needed a planner who could anticipate my needs and bring even more organization and precision than I did.
My biggest issue was feeling that the owner often prioritized her relationships with vendors over focusing on my needs and voice as the bride. Her communication style also tended to feel very passive-aggressive.
It’s also worth noting that Give Co. Events charges for nearly everything, even for small add-ons. While many of our other vendors went above and beyond without worrying about extra fees, Give Co. Events consistently charged or, if they didn’t, made sure we knew they were making an exception. This approach felt very frustrating, especially since they were our planners and we already felt that we were overpaying.
I do believe that Give Co. Events care about their brides, but there are definite gaps in their system and communication that impacted my experience. For these reasons, I gave them a low rating.

From designing our reception to creating beautiful florals to making sure everything went without a hitch on wedding day, they were there for everything and made sure that all we had to focus on was saying "I do" and having a great day. I had so many people ask me if I was stressed on my wedding day or leading up to our wedding, and the answer was always "no" because I knew I had Mallory working behind the scenes to make sure everything went as it should. There are truly not enough ways to express how grateful I am for their services, kindness, attention to detail, and creative minds. Just do yourself and your significant other a favor and book them!

dding and well worth the money spent. She was with me every step of the way and knew exactly how to execute my vision and made the whole thing as stress free as possible. On the day of, her team made sure everything went smoothly the entire day. Her team coordinated with the vendors, handled the rentals, decorated the venue, did the signage, AND did all the florals. They made sure we ate, had drinks in our hands, wrangled the bridal party, kept us on schedule, helped clean up, and I’m sure did a million other things that I have no idea about because I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Jade and her team and would 100% recommend them for any and all events. If you’re planning a wedding (or any other major event) do yourself, your fiancé, your parents, and your bridal party a favor and hire Give Co. Events! I assure you that you won’t regret it.
