I asked her many questions months before our wedding and she was always responsive when needed! Fast forward to the month of our wedding I finally got to meet Leah and Hannah in person and they are both the kindest and loveliest people! After our first meeting I walked out of there feeling so much better about how our wedding day was gonna go! Hannah was able to make it to our rehearsal and was always attentive to what WE wanted for our wedding. Both Leah and Hannah really made our wedding run so smooth and were so so sweet to our families. They made sure not only did we have enough to eat and drink but always asked us if we were ready to move onto the next event before doing so. At the end of the night all we had to do was pack up our own personal belongings; they had already cleaned and packed up everything else! If you are on the fence about getting a coordinator like I was, just do it! Especially with Given Event Co!

crazy bride, there were so many factors that went into my wedding that Leah rolled with. From almost moving to actually moving to COVID rescheduling and not so nice vendors, Leah was the definition of professional. She fought for me when I tried to reschedule my wedding and the venue was being difficult. She kept me focused.... and was patient with me when I would forget or forever to do something. She calmed me down when I was in a panic, she hyped me up when I was feeling down about the wedding… and when the day came, it was beyond my wildest dream. You always hear about weddings being so stressful on the bride, but mine was so relaxing because of Leah. Everything was handled, everyone was happy, and I can honestly say it was the best day of my life. The best parts of the night were little pockets of time that she planned into the day to give us the opportunity to just be us… Nick and Rebecca. We had a private dinner, a private dance, and still had time to greet ALL of our guests. It was so special. If I could, I would hire Given Event Co. to plan my life. I cannot sing Leah’s praises highly enough. She truly created the best day of my life, and I am so grateful to everything she has given me.

irls were extremely professional, calm and kind. Leah was the calm to my storm on my wedding day. She knew exactly what I was thinking before I even said it out loud. I cannot recommend this company enough. I know weddings can be expensive but they are very reasonably priced and the service that was delivered was FIVE STAR. My husband and I got married on October 23rd and Leah made the day run so smoothly that we and our loved ones were able to just enjoy the day. The next day I heard nothing but wonderful things about Leah and how impressed everyone was with how the day went and what a great time they had. Trust me, you need at a minimum a day or month of coordinator so that the details of the day don't fall to you, your mom, or maid of honor, and you need Leah--can't recommend her and Given Event Co. highly enough!

She answered all of my questions and guided us through the process with such ease. Everything went perfectly and I know it's because of Leah. She received all incoming drop offs, guided our wedding party and still made sure I had a hand in decorating(which was a big thing for me). about getting to know us/making sure that our day exactly what we hoped for. After initially reaching out to Leah, she responded back within 2 hours to schedule some time for an "intake". During our first call she spent time thoughtfully getting to know me, my husband and I as a couple, current status of the wedding and what was most important to us (all of which she made happen). Leading up to the big day and on the big day, Leah was incredible and handling every situation with grace and perfection! She made sure everyone was organized, removed me from any stressful situations, kept us to our timeline (only gently stepping in when needed), and made sure everything that was important to us happened. I didn't notice this during the wedding, but she captured so many moments (pics and videos) that she later shared with us that were so special/fun to look at the next day. Everyone from my bridesmaids to the owner of our venue was so complimentary of her and for good reason. If you're debating on whether you should get a Coordinator or if you should go with Leah - do it! I can't thank her enough for making our day extra special!

Leah was very patient, polite, professional, super attentive, and respectful of our needs and wishes. She did a wonderful job communicating with our vendors, made sure everything was on schedule, and checked in on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. She even spent a good half an hour or so helping me adjust my dress when I couldn't get it to bustle correctly. We also had lots of our guests come to us afterwards and complement her work! I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for an event planner or month of coordinator! This was absolutely one of the best choices we made for our wedding!

Here are just some things to note that she did that really helped us: -Directing processional/recessional - I didn’t have “reserved signs” for the ceremony but we wanted for our immediate family to sit in the first few rows and she directed this for us. -Set-up of all wedding decor, signage, etc. BEAUTIFULLY! I mean she really went above and beyond and the wedding looked more beautiful than we could have imagined! -Directed our vendors on the wedding day PERFECTLY! -Helped us stay on our wedding timeline!!! So important!!!! -Made sure that we had dinner and a drink at all times! But most importantly Leah was the sweetest to work with and made us feel so special! Thank you again Leah for making our day so amazing!!!!

ilies and friends could help out on the day. After giving it much thought I realized I didn't want that added stress on my family and friends. I want them to enjoy the wedding too. Boy are we glad we hired Leah. She was the best decision I made, besides saying yes to my husband. If there was anything that went wrong that day, we didn't know it. We thought everything went so well and looked beautiful. She was also your friend throughout the entire process. She had words of encouragement and advice for me when I was under a lot of stress. I am so grateful that she was there to run the wedding. Do hire her. You will not regret it.

hey knew what we wanted so that was great. During the process, people would ask – do you have a wedding coordinator/day of coordinator? We would say “no”. We had all the major things confirmed: caterer, floral, venue, etc…. – why would we need a day of coordinator? I am a hands on Mom and I know what my daughter/son-in-law wanted, we could put this all together ourselves and save some money. When it was about 7 weeks out and there were so many little details, timelines, who was suppose to do what and what time are they suppose to do it started surfacing – I went in to a bit of panic. I realized then, that the person my daughter would lean on was me and the bridal team – however I was going to feel ultimately responsible for how it unfolded on the day of her wedding. I did not want to be chasing people around, working with the vendors, resolving problems, plugging in bubble machines etc…..I wanted to spend every moment of this time with my daughter and being there for her. All I have to say is get a coordinator!!! Given Event was referred to my daughter by an up and coming bride. My daughter called her and instantly said “this is the one!”. I also talked with Leah Hudson that day and after a couple of melt downs on the phone with her – I agreed. We met face to face with her the following week and she asked questions, got the vision of what my daughter wanted, talked about timelines and most of the details. The big day came around and all the tubs of stuff we had purchased were now at the venue and once again panic set in – I knew what my daughter wanted so I started to help set things up – but there was so much. Leah came to me and said “Teri – go spend time with Carisa, this is why you hired me!” From that moment – I did – I enjoyed every second with my daughter and knew that Leah was on top of it! When I look back – I think – Wow – I went and said hello to all the vendors we had hired, but on my schedule and it was just to say Hi and thank you for being here. I know everyone of the vendors came in asking questions and needing answers and direction, but to this day I do not know what they were. We later found out that mother nature had destroyed a decoration out on the alter – Leah was obviously quick to resolve the problem without us even knowing about it. I am so thankful that Leah made me go spend time where I was needed the most and that was with my daughter. Not to sound cliché, but this was priceless…. I highly recommend Leah Hudson at Given Event – she is just amazing and knows her business. I would also like to say that I have talked to a couple of other vendors that I had hired and they said the same thing – Leah Hudson was so great to work with – we had hired a great one!!!
