I’m so glad I hired Glaiza as the makeup artist for our wedding. She did an amazing job on the makeup for our moms and dads, and I was so happy with how both my makeup and my husba...
nd’s turned out. I highly recommend her!
Glaiza is honestly one of the BEST artist in Houston no lie!! She is super responsive, friendly, attentive, professional and very detailed orientated. I'm typically not the type to...
wear make up often, but she made me look AMAZING on BOTH my tea ceremony and wedding day.
I've experienced other bridal trials and none of them were even comparable to Glaiza! I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for an artist in the Houston area. She will definitely go above your expectations and deliver! The products she used didn't make my face look cakey and on top of that it lasted all day with an outdoor ceremony! Her style of work compliments and enhances your features in such a natural way.
Thankfully, I was recommended to her by a close friend and I don't think I'll ever look elsewhere for another artist. She raised the bar too high! Really cannot thank her enough for making me look beautiful on our special day.
Glaiza is so talented and professional!. She truly understood the look I was going for and really listened to what I wanted. Everything came out exactly as I pictured. I had tried ...
2 other makeup artists before finding Glaiza so I’m probably on the pickier side and Glaiza was still able to meet my expectations. She even helped out my mom last minute when she needed her makeup and hair done the day of my wedding! Glaiza was flexible and rolled with the punches. 10/10!! Highly recommend!
Hair and makeup were among my top priorities for my wedding day, so I made the decision to book bridal trials with different HAMU artists prior to choosing a vendor. I heavily stre...
ssed the importance of ensuring both the wedding party and I looked and felt beautiful, while still feeling like ourselves. Let me save you the time and money - Glaiza is perfect for the job!
At my first bridal trial prior to booking Glaiza, I provided an inspiration photo of what I wanted for my wedding day. Before working her magic, she spent the first 10 minutes asking all the right questions to fully understand what I wanted, and I could already notice her attention to detail. I wasn't sure how I wanted to do my hair at the time, and Glaiza was kind enough to style my hair in different options she thought would complement my dress and makeup.
I appreciated that Glaiza took her time and did not rush through our trial. She was also an absolute pleasure to talk to the entire time, which made sitting still for hours much more bearable. My makeup and hair was flawless the entire day, and I was sold! I knew I had to book her on what I assumed would be a very wedding popular date ASAP.
After booking her, I scheduled another bridal trial with Glaiza for my local engagement photoshoot. I had very minor fixes from the initial trial and she executed exactly what I wanted again. She's detail-oriented and consistent, and I felt even more confident about my decision to book Glaiza. She even recommended products and gave me tips for when I had to do my own makeup for my destination engagement photoshoot.
On the day of my wedding, Glaiza did hair and makeup for me, my two matron of honors, and my (now) mother-in-law. I had a big wedding party, and Glaiza recommended another make-up artist to assist with the day of for the remaining bridesmaids. I couldn't tell you how many compliments we got on our hair and makeup. We all felt and looked so beautiful, which exactly was what I wanted! My makeup lasted the entire day, which is saying a lot with Houston's humidity! I never felt so beautiful, and I will continue to use Glaiza for future occasions. You won't regret choosing her.
Out of all of the vendors I worked with on my wedding day, I think Glaiza was my favorite and the best investment. Even starting from the trial session, I was so impressed by the q...
uestions she asked to make sure she was tailoring every detail to my preferences and personal style. At the end of the day, I know the quirks of my facial features and the styles that I think look best on me, and I LOVED that Glaiza asked specific questions that showed she understood this. On the day of, she was SO thorough and I loved my look so much. I splurged a little to have her do a touch-up (essential for an outdoor Houston wedding in May) and this was also hands-down the best decision. She went above and beyond to make sure my look stayed fresh. You could tell she was not just there to collect her check (as I felt with some vendors...), but truly cared about making sure her work was flawless. Finally, as an introvert, I appreciated that she made me feel comfortable and not like I had to be super talkative while getting my hair/makeup done. I recommend her to anyone!!
Glaiza is amazing. Booked her for 4x already & she will be the only MUA I trust! She is attentive, patient, and truly a perfectionist. I booked her for our entire wedding day, and ...
she was bedside me the entire day, going above + beyond in so many ways: holding my bouquet & helping me with my train in transit along with touch ups during photos. I only trust her for special events in the future. As the cherry on top, she is sweet and so fun to be around, like seeing a good friend. I recommended her to all my friends & colleagues, she is worth every penny and beyond!
I could’t have asked for a better make up artist, Glaiza was an absolute dream!! She has the gift of making you feel comfortable and looking like the most beautiful bride on your s...
pecial day. From the trial to the big day, she listened to my preferences and created a look that was even better than I had imagined. The makeup for me and my bridal party was flawless, lasted ALL summer day AND night, and looked stunning in photos. Glaiza was so friendly, professional, attentive, and made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. Thank you for making my wedding day perfect!

't even have anything on. It was amazing, I truly felt comfortable, like I still looked like myself and I also felt beautiful. She really worked with me and the feedback I gave to achieve the look I was going for. She also made all of bridesmaids, MIL, and mom look amazing!!!
I highly recommend Glaiza to anybody looking for a reliable, professional and truly talented makeup artist. I know that if I am ever in the need of a makeup artist again I am reaching out to Glaiza

Glaiza gave me the absolute best Barbie themed beat, completed with a high and sassy ponytail! I trusted her completely to work her magic and make me feel beautiful, which she did!...
Not only is she talented, she’s so much fun to talk to! I’ve worked with her for events a few times now and will continue to refer her to my clients. She is THAT GIRL!!! XO

oom loved how I look.
It is not so cakey but my make up has gave me an amazing glow on all my pictures, despite the hot humid weather.
Now my hair? She pretty much brought my vision to life with the half up do with hollywood waves. My hair even lasted the whole day which is surprising even for me.
Glaiza, thank you for making me smile on my wedding day. I definitely will be hiring her again (not for another wedding of course, haha!)
Hire Glaiza, you won't regret it! On your special day you deserve to look and feel your most beautiful, bd Glaiza does just that!
I first met Glaiza while I was the Maid of Honor ...
for one of my best friend's weddings, Kathy. Kathy showed me her Instagram and I loved her style. I booked her for my engagement pictures in Oct. 2022 and paid for a bridal trial; I was blown away with how natural and enhanced my face looked! The engagement pictures came out even better than expected. I then hired Glaiza for my wedding in Nov 2022, but also had her do my makeup for my graduate school prom and graduation photos in May of 2022. For my wedding, I hired her for the whole day- which was one of the BEST decisions I made. I had 3 different hair styles, and make up looks. Glaiza was there every step of the way fixing my hair for pictures, touching me up, and even fixing my dress for pictures. She truly goes above and beyond to make you look and feel beautiful on your special day. She is extremely talented and does a great job with various skin tones. I love that she will travel to you to do your makeup and if you send her your hair and make up inspirations she will do her best to make it happen. You can even book a hair trial, which I did before my wedding, to figure out all my hair looks. She is my make up artist for life!
Glaiza was extremely kind and professional. Her skills are really amazing and made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. I am usually very skeptical of getting my makeup done becaus...

I didn’t have any experience working with professional vendors prior to this but I must say, Glaiza is the best hair & makeup artist you can have on your special day! Great quality...
of work using some of the most high-end tools and products. My girls & I are so happy we got our hair & makeup done by her. We can’t thank her enough for making us all look so beautiful. When looking for a makeup artist, I only wanted 3 things: an Asian-owned business, a woman, and a small business because I feel like if I went with a bigger business, they wouldn’t be as caring and sweet as Glaiza. Not only is she sweet, but she is also professional, efficient, easy to talk to, and gives great advice/suggestions. I originally planned not to have my bridal party with me when I said my I do’s and have them come after for photos, but Glaiza suggested they be there and I’m so glad she did. She is definitely like a real-life fairy godmother. I felt like Cinderella in my glam and having my bridal party with me! I highly recommend her for any event and would hire her again if I decide to have another event like my wedding day!
My bridal party and I are over the moon happy with the work done by Glaiza! We had our hair and make up done for my wedding and could not be more pleased. Glaiza has the most compe...
titive prices in the Houston area and the work she does- AMAZING. Great quality of work using some of the most high end tools and products. I will refer Glaiza to absolutely everyone and most definitely use her again myself.
Glaiza’s bridal hair and makeup for me was everything I imagined that I may not have been able to put in words to describe for her, but she took the time to figure it out and make ...
it perfect for me as though she read my mind! I absolutely loved it, and everyone kept commenting on how gorgeous the hair and makeup was throughout the night! I felt so glamorous but still true to myself and style. I really appreciate how Glaiza was able to expertly give me her input on aspects of the hair and makeup based on my wedding dress and to best match what I wanted to achieve. She was also amazing with my bridesmaids’ hair styling and able to produce the different type of styles they wanted simply from a photo.
Glaiza is a consummate professional. She is very efficient, easy to talk to,, very pleasant, listens to what her client wants, but gives her honest opinions. She can easily make ...
you feel confident and at ease. Most importantly, she can and will bring out your best features. She will make you look naturally glamorous. It is important for brides to choose the right H&MUA because after the celebration is over, your photos will be the only memories you get to keep. Glaiza will make sure that you will want to look at those beautiful photos over and over again.
Glaiza was nothing short of amazing! She's super organized, great at communicating and updates and is very good at what she does. I got both my hair and make up done for my wedding...
which took 2.5 hours and it was so worth it. Everyone literally said my makeup and hair look flawless and the overall looks was exactly what I wanted. She is definitely a fairygodmother! I felt so beautiful, the makeup withstood my crying and the hair withstood all the dancing. 10/10 would recommend and use if I have any other big events. I also hired her to do my mother's makeup and hair which turned out very beautiful too.
She is awesome😍from the beginning to end i love the way she put my make up on. Thank you for the wonderful experience ❤️I definitely will see you again.

e. I especially can’t thank her enough for all the hard work her and her team put in recently during our second wedding since so many of us were getting our hair and makeup done within a certain timeframe. She does an amazing job on making you feel beautiful in your skin, and I’m so glad to have had her as my hair and makeup artist throughout my whole engagement and marriage journey.
She is amazing, the best! My make up looked incredible, she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed before the ceremony! She was on time and was understanding when we had to change...
our wedding date due to Covid.
I can't say enough great things about Glaiza. She did my makeup and hair for both my engagement photo shoot and wedding day, and I was very happy with the end result for both. I am...
especially very picky about how my makeup is done- I like a softer, natural look, without any cakiness or coming out of it looking like no longer myself. She nailed it. I loved the tones and blending that she did on me- so professional.
She is also so easy going, flexible, kind, and patient. I can tell she is passionate about what she does. I also loved her calm demeanor. I would not hesitate to use her again, and would highly recommend her to anyone else. Thank you SO much!
Glaiza is fantastic!!! One of the best vendors that we had. Very responsive, punctual, professional, and kind. She was super understanding about rescheduling due to COVID, and help...
ed me pick a new date. She really worked with me to figure out my wedding style. I am SO happy I had Glaiza on my wedding day. I was really particular about choosing a makeup artist because I wanted someone who could really work with my slightly asymmetric facial features. She really put me at ease on my wedding day: look good, feel good. I will be booking her for any future event that requires nice makeup!!!
She really made me feel comfortable and relaxed and went above and beyond to make my hair and makeup perfect. Very professional and couldn’t have asked for better service.
Glaiza was amazing! My husband booked her for my bridal hair/makeup and I felt so beautiful! The hair/makeup stayed beautiful for my 10 hour wedding day. Her pricing is also very a...
ffordable compared to other makeup artists I've looked at. She's also very sweet and easy to work with. I'm shy and don't like to talk much so I liked that she wasn't overly talkative, but enough to keep me comfortable and calm on my big day. I am very pleased!
I've written a review about my graduation pictures that Glaiza did, But I specifically want to write ANOTHER review because this woman also did my wedding pictures! She actually ca...
me earlier than anyone from my wedding party (including myself). We sat down and she did my makeup and actually had some really good down time just to talk and she is extremely personable and caring! Glaiza, BY HERSELF, did my makeup, my mother, MOH, and sister in laws make up. She even went out of her way and helped placing eye lashes on one of my bridesmaids, curling one of my flower girls hair, and she even stayed until after the ceremony happened. She gave me an extra small lipstick just in case my makeup wore away (which it didn't at all - even with all the dancing). Also, she placed one of her own cute hair pieces that completely made my dress even more gorgeous. Glaiza has affordable prices and she does a great job. She's a great person!
Glaiza & Rain did an absolutely amazing job on my bridesmaids, mom, mother-in-law, Meemaw, and myself the bride. I cannot recommend her work enough! I was kind of everywhere with w...
hat I wanted for my bridal look but she was able to put it together perfectly! More than I could have ever imagined. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel and look beautiful on my wedding day. Her prices are incredibly reasonable as well! We had fun all getting ready and chatting together it didn't feel like she came to do what she had to do and leave, we all enjoyed each others companies. If you're looking for hair and makeup, I 100% recommend Glaiza!
