I even texted Ashley letting her know my eyelashes needed a tiny touch up before the ceremony and hours after our session ended she drove to my venue, hopped a fence to get to me and make sure I looked absolutely perfect. I was a little hesitant because I have never done professional hair and makeup and don't like a cakey, overproduced look, and man they just worked MAGIC. And, were so dang CHILL the whole time! I can't say enough. BOOK THEM BOOK THEM BOOK THEM!!

hey listened to everything we wanted and tailored each person’s hair and makeup to their specific needs. They were right on time and super efficient. I can’t recommend them enough!

I guess it’s a job for them and clients come and go but on your wedding day you want people to make sure you feel special and we weren’t really getting that vibe. Also when they arrived at the hotel room they were asked to put on a mask because of the new omicron variant and we had older ladies in the room as well as a newly pregnant lady. One of them put on a mask but the other one did not. They were nice people but these issues caused us some concern.

hair and makeup trial I scheduled the morning of my bridal shower. Since brides always come first (totally fair), my trial was almost canceled, but we compromised on doing just my makeup even earlier in the AM to fit me in. That said, if you really want to use your trial for a wedding event/photos on the weekend that’s NOT your wedding, just be prepared in case it doesn’t work out like you planned! And know that the day of your wedding, you’ll be their top priority :)

They took charge and got us done and on time! I had my trial with Amanda so she did both my hair and makeup and she’s amazing! So professional and so easy to talk to! And Candice and Ashley are so responsive with our emails/texts. Highly recommend these ladies! guilty at all when I asked for it to be changed for my wedding day. How Voula ended up doing my hair on the wedding day was PERFECT and exactly what I had imagined my hair would look like. I was also so happy with my makeup. I do mot wear makeup often and was worried that the super glam look would make me look like someone other than myself, but Ashley did a perfect job of making me look like a bride who was glam, yet natural. All of my bridal party was so happy with their hair and makeup, and I had multiple guests tell me that my bridal party looked like models. So happy that I went with these girls, I will send pics once I get them!

ding and for them to change my hair when I change my dress at 9pm. I went for my for my trial with our stylist Voula. When I walked into their studio I was not greeted at all because Voula and another stylist who I learned was Candace were working on payroll and talking among themselves, which obviously made things awkward. Then we get started on my trial. I asked for loose beachy waves ( provided a picture) with half up/half down hair style. After the trial I started to get nervous that my hair would not come out like I liked so I canceled for myself, but kept all other services. Once I canceled my hair they told me that they no longer can come at 9pm to change my hair, so three months away from my wedding I had to find another person to do my hair ( THANK YOU BLEU Amy and Emily K). During this time my planner ran into a Glam girl and they found out I was unhappy with my service. They offered me a free retrial with Candace instead of Voula, which I thought was super kind because they did not need to do that. I went with a friend this time and we sat down for my hair. Candace was a bit aggressive asking me why I did not like my hair last time ect. This time I asked for a more simple look. Slicked back in the front, beach curls with some good volume. When she put my clip in extensions she did not layer them. She just put them all in one spot in my hair. I do not know how to do extensions so I figured it was better than last time and went back to them. Later in the month I went to Glow to get my hair and extensions trimmed. When Paige at Glow put my extensions in and styled my hair the same way I had asked Candace at Glam to do it I was shocked- it looked a billion times better AND my extensions were layered throughout my hair it looked so natural. That is when I switched to Glow and Brandi did my hair for the wedding. ( AND IT WAS THE MOST GORGEOUS HAIR EVER).When I canceled with Candace they told my planner that suddenly it was against policy for them to come before the wedding to do touch-ups since they were not doing the bride's hair. My bridesmaids hair came out looking good, but working with Glam with a huge headache and felt that they were extremely unprofessional especially since there was a signed contract on them to do certain services which they decided to cancel last minute. I wish I saved myself and my girls the headache of dealing with them, and just sent everyone to BLEU.

made a trip to New Orleans for a trial run with Holly and was super impressed that she was able to make my vision a reality and give me a long lasting and sophisticated look. I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup and wanted to look as natural yet glamorous as possible and both Ashley and Holly made that happen on my wedding day. Most importantly, I was so impressed that they were able to accommodate our group of 10 ladies in a short time frame with zero hiccups, and such a wonderful experience. All of my bridal party loved them. They are truly the best at what they do! So professional, friendly and fantastic!

They were extremely professional, were super fast doing hair and makeup on a large group of bridesmaids without their work looking rushed, and they were able to travel to our "Getting Ready" venue without a problem. I LOVED how every bridesmaid and my mother looked and felt, and most importantly, I felt the most beautiful I ever have on my wedding day. She was extremely professional and listened to everything I wanted. She had great ideas and suggestions. She even created her own lip color for me by mixing different colors together. One of my bridesmaids told me that I looked like I was glowing! Our hair stylist did a great job; however, her work didn’t reflect my personal style. I had a trial with her prior to our big day, and I wasn’t happy with the outcome. It didn’t look the photos I had brought at all (which she barely looked at). I emailed GlamNola sending them photos of what I actually wanted asking if I could change stylists, but they reassured me saying that they were positive my current stylist could make it happen. Needless to say, my hair didn’t look at all how I wanted it to on my wedding day, BUT we are married and happy and in the end that is all that matters!!

They made me feel comfortable, and I think that's really important. They followed that up with doing MAGIC to my hair and face, and made changes quickly and easily if I asked for them. They arrived on time on the day of the wedding and got 5 people done well ahead of schedule. Everyone looked stunning, and the prices are hard to beat. Oh and when I forgot to ask ahead of time for a tube of the lipstick they'd used at my trial, it turned out they were sold out of it, so they offered to bring me a little sample jar of the color so that I could have it on my wedding day- talk about going above and beyond! They were super fun and really helped make my wedding day stress free and amazing.

When I said I wanted a braid, I was initially told that I might need extra hair – but Voula made it work with my natural hair. The fishtail was beautiful and so simple! With Candice, I got airbrush done for the first time – and I LOVED (and I usually wear no makeup)!! Due to a threatened hurricane (Nate), we ended up moving the ceremony an hour earlier – and Glam Nola was so accommodating to fit our revised schedule (and the city’s imposed curfew!).
