Book her now! Alex made me feel like a goddess on my wedding day. Not only was my makeup everything I wanted and more, she starts with a face mask, eye masks, the whole thing, you feel so pampered through the whole process. She’s such a positive energy on your day that was so comforting when you need it most. This may have been the first wedding where every bridesmaid loved their makeup. It looked beautiful and lasted all night, she also gives you a touch up kit to keep with you throughout the night. I can’t say enough, she’s amazing you won’t be disappointed!

I would have Alex as my makeup artist for my wedding a million times over. My makeup was PERFECT , and lasted from 12pm to 12am without any issues . My bridesmaids and I looked amazing in every photo and video , in all sorts of lighting . She managed to make me look natural and glam at the same time . My bridesmaids were a diverse group with a lot of different looks and she nailed each one . She is incredibly talented and knowledgeable . Alex is pure magic. I can’t recommend her enough .

Alex was a pleasure to work with! I, the bride, originally had a friend doing my makeup but when she was unable to attend Alex took me on with no problems! Being somewhat last minute she was even able to squeeze my trial in the night before the wedding. She was very professional and easy to communicate with. My makeup along with my entire bridal party and mother’s looked flawless and it lasted all day long! Highly recommend!

It was such a dream to have Al doing my bridal makeup as well as the makeup for my girls on my wedding day! I was very impressed with her before the day of the actual wedding as she was so kind and thoughtful-she made sure to plan my makeup trial for the day of my engagement photos. She also coordinated and catered to what worked best for my schedule and we discussed looks even before we met in person so she could have an understanding of what I wanted. It only got better the day of the wedding! She has the best personality which was such a great fit. Everyone looked amazing and I felt so pampered. I truly have never felt more beautiful than on the day of my wedding and was so glad that Al was a part of it. Her technique, skills, professionalism, and patience made it so that all my girls were happy with their end result as everyone wanted and needed something different in terms of the style or amount of makeup. She made sure that we stayed on schedule which isn’t always an easy feat with so many people and a lot of excitement. Not only did she make me look and feel amazing, the makeup lasted all day through endless hugs and kisses, but she stayed as I was getting into my dress for those last minute touch ups, swooned, and doted over me as I was twirling in my dress on my wedding day. I truly don’t think a girl could ask for more! It really was so special and I couldn’t be more grateful and happy to have had her there to help make all my wedding dreams come true.

Alex just did my makeup along with 3 of my bridesmaids, aunt, mom and mother-in-law, and she did a flawless job! She was professional, timely, and extremely sweet while she helped us get ready for the day. I had my bridal trial with her a month before my wedding, and even though I loved my makeup the way she did it, she listened to me on what I wanted done differently for my wedding day and absolutely nailed it. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with her - one last thing is that she provided a mini MAC lipstick the day of my wedding so that I could touch up my lips as the day/night went on. It was a lifesaver for pictures. So thank you Alex for being so accommodating, and for making us all look and feel beautiful on 8/27/21.

Where do I begin!? She did my makeup for a Boudoir shoot I had done my Carly Studios and she absolutely killed it!!! She takes her time, asks for your opinion on what you like, and doesn't overdo it. She is so easy to talk to which made the whole experience that more fun & relaxing. I just booked her for my wedding/elopement as well. I was having trouble finding a last-minute photographer and she took the time out of her day to post on her Instagram story asking if anyone was available. She will forever be my go-to for makeup!

I cannot recommend Alex enough. She is absolutely amazing. She is super knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, and beyond skilled at what she does. She takes her time and explains each step and gives great tips and shares product information. My bridal makeup trial and makeup the day of my wedding were absolutely stunning. I asked for a few changes after my bridal trial and Alex accommodated them beautifully and was very flexible and responsive. My makeup lasted the entire (80+ degree) day, despite being outdoors, in June, during a humid and windy day. It felt great on my face and looked phenomenal in person and flawless in photos. Alex is truly a gem -- hire her for any of your makeup needs and you will not be disappointed!

Alexandra was amazing to work with on my wedding look! She was responsive, gave me great tips, flexible with some changes I had to make, and really listened to what I envisioned for my makeup style. She is truly talented and my makeup obsessed sisters agreed! She is a beautiful person in every way. I asked for glam and she gave me glam! At first I was dead set on air brush but her makeup looked even better than air brush and it lasted all night, mask and all. I did a makeup trial with her, which I suggest so she can fine tune your final look. She had everyone done in time and gave us some touch up kits that came in so handy but I found I didn't really need it. She also gave us custom lipsticks to keep. She made the process so fun and even stayed later to do touch ups on us after photography. I felt so beautiful on my big day and I am so happy I chose Glambyal!

I am finally getting to my review from my August wedding. I found Al via Instagram and fell in love with her makeup looks. We were in a time crunch with Covid and Al traveling back to NY. We met, and she was such a sweetheart! Our trial was amazing, clean, safe, and so much fun! The look she came up with was perfect, and I felt so beautiful. I gave her some feedback, which she took wonderfully. The day came, and she brought an assistant to help out. My look was so perfect and stayed the whole day and night! My girls were so impressed with her ability and her personality. My mothers, who are not makeup-wearing women, got their makeup done, and they loved it. Very simple and natural. Al was a gem, and I would recommend her to everyone! She is AMAZING and made me feel beautiful for my big day.

I had been following Al on Instagram for a while, I loved her style and her before and after photos were amazing. As soon as I met her I felt like I had known her forever. Her energy is fantastic, she shared some tips along the way like how to achieve fluffy eyebrows, and really made me feel at ease with the whole process. Getting married during this pandemic has thrown me some curveballs, so it felt so nice to have someone I could trust. Al also ended up doing my hair! She has so much talent and made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. All my bridesmaids loved her too. Al really listened to me when I told her how I wanted to look, she went above and beyond making my vision come to life. I hope to work with her in the future.

After spending hours and hours searching for the perfect makeup artist, I found Alex on Instagram and her style was exactly what I was looking for! She ended up being available short notice, only a few weeks before my wedding. Every question I had she answered quickly and she was early to both the trial and on the wedding day. Alex was hands down the best makeup artists I have had the pleasure of working with. She is incredibly talented and paid attention to every detail to make sure we were satisfied! She was also willing to make any changes to meet our expectations. The bridal party didn’t have to make any touch ups to their makeup the whole day which really showed us that she used very high quality makeup. Along with her skills, she was extremely personable and definitely brought positive energy that every bride needs on their wedding morning. To say that I am satisfied with her work would be an understatement!! My sister searched for a VERY long time to find a makeup artist that met her expectations and if you are in the same situation, I highly recommend reaching out to Alex!

I was so lucky that Alex was available within a weeks notice to be our makeup artist, after Covid had moved our wedding date around three times! She was so lovely to work with and knew exactly how to compliment each of my bridesmaids and mother and mother in law. My makeup was exactly how I envisioned, and she knew how to tie my look in to the rest of my style that day. It was gorgeous! My makeup artist for my wedding cancelled on me last minute, and luckily Al was able to squeeze me into her day for my bid day! For the longest time I could not find a makeup artist that matched the style of makeup that I like. Two months before my wedding I was still scrambling to find a makeup artist and Alex was recommended to me by another makeup artist that I had used. When I messaged her she responded very quickly. She is very attentive, her pricing is amazing, and she is very easy to talk to. I can not say enough about her. I am normally a very picky person when it comes to makeup and I was beyond amazed by how everything turned out and how long the makeup lasted throughout the night. You must book her now, trust me you will not be disappointed!

Her years as a trained ballerina gives her that grace under pressure. I have traveled extensively both professional & pleasure. Never have I experienced the amazing results that I have with Alex. She is a MASTER! Her contouring; lips; knowledge of skin care set her apart! I love showing her a photo & how she magically emulates the look! Alex is súper profesional and sweet. When I began looking for a MUA , I was interested in finding someone who was capable of working with a large party ( 10 bridesmaids, Bride , and close family ). Most importantly having someone who had experienced working with diverse skin tones . I was very honest and she reassured me that it will not be a problem and it definitely was not ! Alex was always availabake and felixibken, which was important since I was traveling from Maryland to Syracuse . During my trial , we spoke before even starting the makeup and she got a great understanding of what I wanted . After the trial , I sent her a message saying all the things I loved about the makeup and some of my concerns . The day of my wedding she incorporated all of those suggestions and I felt absolutely beautiful . She arrived st 6:45 am and had great energy . Had a variety of eyelashes to choose from and was sweet enough to bring the girls and I champagne. I also loved that she gifted me the same lipstick she used so that I will stay beautiful the entire night . This makeup was so beautiful that the next morning I went to breakfast and didn’t want to wash my face ! Yes, it was still there ! Thank you Alex for your talent and professionalism and for making me the most beautiful bride .

When I first met Alex I was scrambling to find a MAU who would last minute do my makeup just 2 hours before my engagement photo shoot. She was so flexible and willing to fit me in. She was super personable and did an amazing job with my makeup. I’m very particular about eyebrows especially (because I have alopecia and had none at the time) but she made my eyebrows look so real! Honestly the best I’ve seen (and I use a lot of makeup artists for all special occasions). I was very impressed with her work with the engagement photoshoot so I hired her to do the bridal makeup for my wedding. Once again Alex killed it and did an awesome job. She achieved the exact look I wanted. I would highly recommend Alex for all make up needs whether it’s a special occasion, a photo shoot or bridal makeup.

Best decision I made was hire Alex. She was amazing!!! She asked all kinds of questions during our trial to make sure that she was going to meet my needs and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! She also did my mother’s make up and Alex made her feel so comfortable (she’s never had her make up done before). My make up lasted all night through tons of dancing! Alex is honestly the best, she takes her time and she pays attention to detail. She makes sure the make up that you’re getting well look best for your features and the occasion. Al was by far the best make up artist I have ever had. I found her on Instagram as I live in Australia. I used her for my wedding in Syracuse and I was blown away with her ability to do exactly what I was after. Her contouring is on point and my face was flawless the whole day and night. Alex is THE only make up artist in Syracuse that I trust to do my makeup. I have become a regular client of Alex and every single time she does my makeup for an event it comes out exactly how I want it to. Many times I’ll book with Alex and show her a celebrity makeup artist look I want her to recreate on my own face and time after time she’s always been able to recreate that look perfectly.
