Glammed Out and Pinned Up

business legitimately ruined my wedding day. The girl (Jessica) who was scheduled to do my hair arrived a full hour late. In that hour I messaged the owner of the company (or whoever runs their insta page) and she acted like I was an inconvenience. Absolutely no empathy or compassion. We had our venue for exactly one hour. It was a blocked time slot that we could not deviate from. We had our photographer for 90 minutes. Same situation; time slot that we could not deviate from. (The business that we rented for our ceremony had to open for normal operations, and our photographer is a single mother who had to get home to relieve her babysitter.) I was supposed to arrive to the venue EARLY. I scheduled hair at 4pm to have plenty of time to have my hair done and leave to get to the venue. I was supposed to arrive slightly after my groom to do a surprise first look. My now-husband saw me for the first time in the parking garage because we were too rushed to travel separately. She arrived at 5pm and didn’t finish until after 630. We got THIRTY MINUTES in our venue and with our photographer. HALF of the time. Our ceremony was rushed. Our photos were rushed. Worst of all, it ruined the way that I felt for the entirety of my wedding. I didn’t get to enjoy it. I was stressed, angry, and sad. I think back to my wedding day and the predominant emotion that I feel is disappointment and rage. that simply isn’t how one should feel when reminiscing on their wedding day. Like I said- I wouldn’t wish these people on my worst enemy. Even they would deserve better. If you want to have a good experience on your wedding day- use literally anyone else. ———— Additionally, I left this same review on their google business page and they responded with a snarky, rude set of excuses blaming ME for their poor services. They stated I canceled my makeup services “last minute” when i’d done so weeks ahead of time. They said I was “distracted” when they arrived (unsure what that would even mean, but whatever) when I was simply getting my makeup done by someone (a different company) who arrived EARLY to try to make up for this company’s tardiness. So getting my makeup done while I was waiting for you? That’s “distracted”? Does that excuse you from being an entire hour late? They stated they went “above and beyond” to help me. They absolutely did not. They also said that they gave me a service for free. They absolutely didn’t GIVE me any service for free. So not only are they unprofessional but they’re also rude *and* lying to try to save face. “We have photos to prove” they my hair was done well. I never once said that it wasn’t. That wasn’t the problem. The hair was nice- not exactly what I asked for, but it was still pretty. All of that said; I reiterate- this company is not worth using. They ruin a WEDDING DAY and take ZERO responsibility, and instead blame the customer. Gross. If your big day is important to you, which I assume it is, seek services elsewhere.

end not being influenced by the instagram pictures because that’s definitely not what I got. I’m an avid makeup wearer and a cosmetologist myself. I know how to do makeup and I went back and forth about even getting it done in the first place but decided I should be pampered on my wedding day. That was the wrong choice on my part. My lashes were done horribly, my skin was so patchy there were spots that literally had no makeup… I redid my makeup the best I could on the way to my ceremony! My hair was obnoxious and not at all like the photos. I even was charged an extra 35 dollars to have pearls put in my hair with glue and instead pins were placed haphazardly throughout my head. I asked for Hollywood waves and received Shirley temple ringlets. I wouldn’t risk it. Not worth it for such a special day.

hroughout the whole process. Bonnie excelled at my Bridal Glam Make-up, she had everything I needed! She even went as far as filled up a small sample lip stick for myself to have the rest of the evening! SO SWEET. Desiree did wonderful magic on my hair! I had my own clip-in extensions that she happily installed, so beautifully. Thank you SO MUCH for taking SUCH great care of my crew and making me feel like the most beautiful bride!!!! XOXO
