so scared me (the bride) to death. Then it was not communicated properly that it was a tab bar. No biggie but that should have been communicated. The girl in charge of the room blocks Denyelle was awful. She wouldn’t answer emails and at the rehearsal admitted that she saw my email but didn’t respond. Our day of coordinator was amazing and made sure we had all that we needed. The day after we packed up and left, when we were going through everything we realized a lot was missing. The brides day of pajamas, dress bag, clothing rack, gifts to the parents, gifts to the flower girls and ring bearers all GONE. We went up to the venue and they said they hadn’t seen any of it. So all of these items just disappeared from the bridal suite at the venue without a trace. A MONTH after our wedding we get an email from bookkeeping that we owe a little under $2k for unbooked rooms from the room block. Which in the contract it states Glasbern will automatically release those rooms a month before the wedding. So, all in all..a beautiful place to get married, food is absolutely amazing. Communication and organization of everyone there is absolutely horrible. When you try to call anyone they never answer. Gavin from the front desk is the only person who actively communicated to us while on site and he has nothing to do with the event side of things! I have never been so stressed in my life and this is supposed to be a happy time, I just got married right?

Every wedding I've officiated at Glasbern has run smoothly, with meticulous attention to detail. And although I don't attend wedding receptions after officiating the wedding ceremony, I know from dining at Glasbern myself that the food is outstanding. It's easy to recommend this special, gorgeous venue!

Many of our family members stayed overnight at Glasbern, as did we, and all had positive feedback about the rooms, breakfast, and accommodations. Everything that you need is at Glasbern from the Rehearsal dinner to start the weekend to breakfast in their beautiful dining room the day after. I highly recommend Glasbern for weddings!

in and after we decided to book Meghan then realized she had already booked the date a month prior, even though we’d spoken earlier that week and she didn’t mention our date was no longer available. She then tried get us to take the smaller space which she had prior said we wouldn’t fit in. It just felt very unorganized and/or intentionally dishonest. I’m very glad we did not book with them. Considering the price and the fact that they do up to two weddings a night you’d hope they’d have more of an ability to stay organized and know what’s going on. Incredibly beautiful venue but I just don’t think the staff has it all together. Edit based on vendor response: to be clear it is a bit of a mischaracterization for the vender to just say that it had been a month, as if we showed up to dinner and she didn’t look it up for us in that moment. There were emails going back and forth in the time between, including just a few days before March 19th, letting her know were feeling ready to book our date and wanted to come for dinner and to look around again to get to experience our venue alone as a couple. During these discussions she had prior information of the date and didn’t realize she’d booked it already, which was in line with my other experiences dealing with the venue which is why I gave the feedback I don’t think they’re as organized as they should be. The alternative dates were given after a voicemail was left by Megan apologizing for her mistake and suggesting we go into their smaller space which we were told prior was too small for us. I agree with the characterization we didn’t book because I didn’t trust the venue anymore and that’s why we didn’t go forward.

uring the fall. It had everything we wanted: beautiful grounds, convenient accommodation, amazing food, and the versatility to tailor it all to what we wanted for ourselves and our guests. We’d already loved what we were getting with Glasbern, but I think we were most surprised and impressed with the attention and care we received throughout our stay. We were lucky enough to be able to spend 2 days before the wedding and really experience the place without the whirlwind of planned wedding activities. The Garden Cottage was even better than we’d hoped – it was private, beautiful and so comfortable. We treated ourselves to a couples massage at the spa, which was a great move with how quickly the pace quickened afterwards. We hosted our rehearsal dinner in the Grainery, and the food, drinks, and atmosphere were perfect. Megan had been our point-of-contact for months, and I can’t thank her enough for her seemingly unending patience for my many MANY emails and questions. Hazel was our event manager starting with the rehearsal, and she was on top of everything. Even a day before the wedding, there were things we hadn’t considered, and she handled them all! We went over our mountain of bins and decoration and favors, and she was able to turn my vague direction into something magical. On the day of the wedding, I met Morgan who was everywhere I needed her to be ALL DAY. She had an uncanny knack for popping up out of nowhere, often immediately before I needed her. I had spent 1.5 years worrying about every little thing, and all that anxiety melted away, thanks to these ladies! All the staff we encountered were wonderful and so friendly. It really felt like everyone just wanted us to have a worry-free great time, and I think we all did. I’ve heard nothing but praise from our family and friends. For the weeks leading up to our wedding day, the weather forecast showed rain for our wedding day. During the 2 days we stayed beforehand, the weather was gorgeous, so we walked the grounds to soak in how beautiful it was, knowing we weren’t going to be so lucky for our special day. On the morning of the wedding, Morgan stopped by with white umbrellas (another really lovely touch by Glasbern). While I’m sure we still would’ve had amazing photo opportunities in rain, we didn’t have to find out because everything cleared up right before we were ready for photos. Everywhere you looked was just beautiful. We haven’t received our photos from the photographer yet, but I can’t wait to see them. I am certain that I’m forgetting details and personal touches because there were so many, but we were both so impressed with how smoothly things went and how beautiful everything was. No wedding is going to be cheap, but we felt like our money was well spent for how perfect everything was. Thank you Glasbern!

I wanted a beautiful location where we could be married outside, that also provided food and alcohol on site, and also had hotel rooms for our family and bridal party to stay on site. Glasbern had it all. We were fortunate with beautiful weather, but even the "rain" location had the beautiful scenery I wanted for our photos. The Team at Glasbern was accommodating to our group and I found everyone easy to work with as I planned our wedding. During the planning process, there was a staffing change with our coordinator, so I began working with the new coordinator, Megan, and she was absolutely amazing!!! Megan is kind and she cares about making your event everything you hope it will be. I feel that she went above and beyond for us and she was constantly professional and responsive to all of my questions and to everything I needed during the planning process and our wedding weekend. We had about 150 Wedding guests and our reception was in the Grand Lodge. The Event Staff made the entire evening from set up to cocktail hour to dinner and beyond run smoothly. Megan and her Team kept track of our schedule and I did not have to worry about anything. We also received many compliments from our guests about the outstanding food and dinner service they received. Staying on site made everything super easy for us and our families. We got to have a 3-night party and everyone enjoyed themselves. The rooms were clean and the linens are fresh. They even left a bottle of champagne with chocolate strawberries in our bridal suite and that was a nice touch. Glasbern will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we very much look forward to visiting again. To everyone who helped make our event a success, we cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work. It was truly the best weekend ever.

the majority of our guests stay on property to the amazing fall back drop we truly had the wedding of our dreams. If we could do it all over again we one hundred percent would. If you are looking to get married in or around the Lehigh Valley area the Glasbern is the best place to do so! My now husband and I cannot wait to go back to stay on property and relive the most amazing experience of our lives for future anniversaries and celebrations!

as possible. I want to emphasize again – they made our day as stress-free as possible. To begin, the venue is beautiful. The landscape and rustic-yet-modernized buildings provide a gorgeous backdrop without being overly formal or pretentious, or too rustic. It is easy to decorate to make it a bit more formal or a bit more casual, depending on your tastes. Someone called it "organic modern," which I think describes it perfectly. The staff is amazing. Kelsey was always very responsive in answering our (very many) questions leading up to our wedding day. Morgan attended to us day-of, basically acting as a day-of coordinator. She was phenomenal. She took all our things from our room (extra décor, card boxes, escort cards, signs, favors, programs) and set everything up for us so we did not need to do any decorating or venue preparation. Glasbern staff coordinated with all our vendors so we did not need to do anything on our wedding day except get ready. People pay thousands to hire someone to do these services, but Glasbern included it all in our package. The staff were all extremely thoughtful. They brought a giant plate of pastries, fruit, and yogurt to our getting ready rooms so we had breakfast. They prepared a plate full of all our passed hors d'oeuvres to bring to us to make sure we got to taste everything we wanted. At the end of the evening, the team packaged up all our décor and card boxes and things from the reception so all we had to do was pick up the boxes the next morning. Other venues we looked at would have made us clean everything ourselves before the reception ended. And, of course, the food is phenomenal. We had plenty of food, it all came out timely, and it was delicious. I could not be happier with choosing Glasbern as our venue.

My family and I were disappointed with the first menu tasting (the Glasbern was transitioning between Chefs and hadn’t found the right fit yet). When we expressed this to Kelsey, she immediately reassured us that she would bring us in for a second tasting when they found their permanent Chef. And let me tell you, the food the second time around was AMAZING! The food day of was AMAZING! The new Chef is a James Beard award winner and focuses on Farm to Table cuisine. The freshness and flavor of each dish was to die for. And on our wedding day, the day of coordinators, Morgan and Megan I believe, as well as the staff were so attentive and on top of things. My husband, myself, and my parents didn’t have to worry about a thing! The staff made sure each table had drinks and water during dinner service and always asked if anyone needed anything. Special shout out to Arden for making sure our sweetheart table was well maintained! Myself and all of our guests were so impressed! I kept having family and friends come up to me saying how personable and attentive the staff was. The coordinators also kept track of time for us too so we didn’t even have to worry about forgetting anything or running out of time. I cannot recommend this venue enough! They made our day care free, stress free, special, and fun!

Well if that wasnt enough, let me tell you about the white glove treatment we rec for our rehearsal dinner. Faith & Kelsey was AMAZING. These two literally walked us through the whole wedding ceremony. They were professional but made it fun. They gave suggestions and gave feedback. Kelsey even helped me add in a last minute surprise for my blushing bride lol. The BIG DAY, we woke up to a nice hot big breakfast and shortly after a knock on the door. We answer and there stands Faith with a huge smile asking “what do you need, i am here”! We go up to see how everything looks (decor), exactly what we wanted-not one thread undone. We meet Megan who is our “day of coordinator”. another big bright and welcoming smile. All we did was get dress because the team did it all. The food, OUTSTANDING! They had something for everyone and enough to feed an army. GO CHEF MICHAEL (Hat off)! Bartender was Jim, who made us feel like we owned the place! They actually schedule the same bartender for rehearsal and wedding (great idea). The “High Fashioned” was a huge hit. just when you think, oh well they are done. NO, the next day they packed everything neatly same way we had it in containers and came to see us off and congratulate us again. As a same sex couple we fear being treated differently and unwelcomed, But Glasbern Inn hands treated us with the upmost respect and genuine kindness to ensure our day to remember. If you are looking for a venue that pays attention to detail, puts your personal interest at heart and offers white glove treatment check out Glasbern and request Kelsey and her team, I promise they wont disappoint. Our friends and family are still talking about it and we will be back for our 1 year anniversary because the beautiful grounds is beautiful.

om the outdoor space to under the covered pickleball pavilion and honestly wondered why we didn't pick that to begin with - it was gorgeous and to be honest, this "Plan B" was one of the (many) reasons we picked Glasbern - you honestly can't go wrong here...everything is beautiful, peaceful and serene - rain or shine you will have an incredible celebration at this venue. Our wedding coordinator Kelsey was top notch and we knew we were in great hands with her and the rest of the amazing Glasbern team. We had the most perfect wedding celebration and will always hold a special place in our hearts for the Glasbern Inn. PS-We had our reception in the Grand Lodge which was lovely; however, the more intimate Glasloft space is also gorgeous (we just had too many guests to be in there). We loved both spaces so much we had our rehearsal dinner there and were so grateful that we could enjoy both wedding spaces!

All of our wedding guests (most of who made a weekend out of our wedding and stayed at the Inn both Friday and Saturday nights) loved exploring the land, and some of them even took advantage of spa treatments the day before! What I really loved most about The Glasbern was the staff and their flexibility with any requests my husband and I had. Although they have set menus and rules for things, they were more than accommodating with any special request that we had in order to have it be the perfect day. From our coordinator, to the inn staff, to the bar tenders, all of the staff was warm and accommodating, which was so appreciated. And the food... I can't get over how good it was! All of our guests raved about the appetizers, then raved even more about our meal. I still can't get over how flawlessly our wedding weekend was executed by the team at The Glasbern and I wish I could do it all over again!

licious!! Our guests are still raving about how gorgeous the venue was and how great the food was, and our vendors appreciated how kind and welcoming the Glasbern staff was. It was truly a fairytale wedding with the perfect indoor and outdoor setup!

Morgan, did an amazing job on our wedding day. She made sure we had everything we needed & even helped our photographers find spots for the best pictures that we took that day. Matthew, the groundskeeper, helped us set up the pack house conference room for getting ready & brought us hot breakfast... he was incredible the whole week we were there, helping us with whatever we needed. Overall, it was a great experience & I'm so happy I got married at the glasbern. The part of the experience that was a bit challenging was more on the hotel. Our guests had an immensely challenging time making reservations under our wedding block... I (the bride) didn't even get a call back when I tried to extend my reservation at the Glasbern. We brought this up with Kelsey a few times & the hotel never seemed to fix the issue. I'd still highly recommend getting married here - just know the hotel block might be a bit painful!

edibly beautiful and well kept. The wedding food menu was okay, but the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Beware, they do book various events for the same date but as far as venues, it didn’t overlap. The cons: The Glasbern lodging was beautiful and comfortable. However, there were a lot of mix ups with my booking, communication was highly difficult, and staff was often inaccessible. After arrival, they did genuinely tried to rectify the errors. The lodging team was inexperienced. I had no contact with any housekeeping staff, and the Inn Keeper entered my room without knocking because he erroneously thought it was a vacant room. They did send a card, a lovely bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries to our room, as an apology. They made mistakes, however, the front desk staffs’ attitudes throughout the weekend were so pleasant and it made it difficult to be mad! Overall, if I had to do it again, again I would choose the Glasbern for our wedding. But granted, the Inn Keeping staff needs training and organizational skills!!

They made last minute changes with the weather that we were not even aware was an option!! Our guests all commented on how great the wedding was (food, venue, staff). . We originally met with Amber and then were transitioned off to Joanna. As a bride, I will say that I was frustrated with the lack of response leading up until my final wedding meeting. I would send multiple emails and get no response. I'm in the hospitality industry myself so the lack of response was extremely frustrating and I hope a learning for the venue. I was super empathetic and calm throughout the experience so I think that helped at the very end because I HAD A MAGICAL WEDDING, I tried my best to be as understanding as possible as I know we got married at one of their busiest times of the year but again we paid a lot of money so was hoping for top notch service. That was my only compliant which is why I'm not scoring them a 5. The day of our wedding we had 100% attention. They accommodated everything we asked for. They don't have a very large team which was surprising because Joanna wore 12 DIFFERENT HATS. I don't know how they do it but they need a larger team. My guests were blown away by this venue. Everyone LOVED THE FOOD, the ambiance, the service. No one had any complaints. EVERYTHING TURNED OUT PERFECT. Some SMALL bumps a long the way but I think it's a lack of The Glasbern having a big team. They have limited hands. Regardless....I'm so thankful to Joanna and Brandy! Joanna I dont know how you did it all BUT MY WEDDING WAS PERFECTION. Brandy took care of my dog the entire wedding. WE COULDNT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT HER. GET MARRIED HERE. IT'S MAGICAL.

was a disaster. To start, trying to book a room is next to impossible. You call and call and get sent to a voicemail and rarely receive a call back. My guests continuously complained they hadn't heard back weeks before my wedding, adding stress I didn't need. Please note- if you order the glasbern chicken, you will be served a mix of thighs and breasts. Something I was never told. So some of my guests had breasts while others had thighs- many complained to me about it after the fact. I had sent an updated seating chart a couple weeks before the wedding, and they had the wrong amount of tables set up (luckily it was caught before everyone walked in to take their seats only because my mom called me in to make sure it was being set up to my liking- to which Amber was rolling her eyes at me while my mom was simply trying to help). We had changes to our salad that they failed to accommodate, they never put out the cake I had in the back so all my other desserts disappeared leaving some people to not get anything. One of my aunts has a severe onion allergy, something I noted in the seating chart, and was served chives- she didn't eat a thing that night. There were no tables set up at cocktail hour- so my guests had nowhere to put down their plates and drinks. I personally feel as though the bigger wedding gets all of the attention. I had a 64 person wedding at the Glasloft. The biggest issue is you are tossed between people. I first met with Joanna, then was pushed to Amber, and then my day of person was Brandy- so all of the communication between the 3 of them gets lost. Had I had the same person from day one, maybe my review would be different. And to top it all off, I have emailed them my list of complaints and issues I've had and they are completely ignoring me at this point. So please, think twice before you decide to get married here. It's NOT cheap, and the service you get for what you pay for is not worth the price.

t my mind at ease. When it came to the day of our wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing. We had quite a few vendors and Joanna handled everything. She made the day run so smoothly and decorated the spaces better than I could have imagined. But the best part, not only did they take care of us exceptionally well, but they also took care of our guests. It was probably little things to them but made a world of difference to our guests. They set the bar high for all other wedding venues and more than delivered. I could go on and on about them but my best advice is if you're even considering The Glasbern, stop looking and just book them! You won't regret it. Plus, the grounds are stunning any time of year!

randi helped us coordinate our event and they were beyond amazing. They’re so thoughtful and patient throughout the whole process and do whatever to make sure the big day goes smoothly and is exactly what you want. Additionally, the food and service there is fantastic! We will definitely be going back to stay on the grounds. Highly recommend for any event!

process seamless. We would not have been able to pull this event off with such detail in our time constraints if it were not for the help of Joanna, Director of Events. Joanna was able to answer every question that we had and was always one step ahead of us to make sure we had everything accounted for and that no detail was missed. She made the day the most memorable, and we would recommend the Glasbern to any couple that is looking for a venue. If you are looking for a rustic venue that has character, look no further. The food is amazing, breakfast is included the next day, and we would give the Glasbern more than five stars, if possible!

y day. I visited the Glasbern as I wanted a relaxing atmosphere for myself and my guests. I read all these reviews from multiple sites that spoke of a woman named Amber and how she made couple's weddings unforgettable and smooth. Once meeting her I knew that she was perfect. She made me feel very comfortable that I could release the reigns. Long story short my fiancé met her and we knew that the Glasbern would be the place. After a few months and everything falling into place my world was rocked as I found out Amber was no longer there. That is when the nightmare started. I got pushed off onto a guy names Tyler who made me regret my decision. He tried to break my contract, talked down to me like I was stupid, and literally made me hate the wedding process with my venue. When I was going through all of this something didn't feel right and I searched for Amber and reached out to her. I was able to hire her as my day of person and I finally had the person I needed that would make my day perfect. Tyler would try to fight me at all sides and Amber did a great job of fighting for me as a bride. My day came and Amber made everything run amazingly. The food was great, the music was perfect, the timeline was stuck to and the atmosphere was memorable. We also rented the Dairy Barn as a place for me and some of my Bridesmaids and Groomsmen to stay so we could all be together. Now you may wonder why I am rating this as a 5 star with the issues and the months of hardships that this guy Tyler caused. Their are three ladies that come to mind.(Amber, Joanna, and Beth) They treated me like family and they did everything in their power to make it right. The MAIN reason they are getting a 5 star is that the Glasbern finally got AMBER to come back. With her running at the helm everyone's special day will be memorable and perfect. Words can't express how grateful my husband and I were to have her at our sides. (Side note: I know I wasn't the only bride at Glasbern that hired her as a day of when she wasn't there.) The proof is in the pudding and Amber will have the Glasbern back to weddings week after week there. In my opinion call the Glasbern up and ask the meet with Amber and you will understand why I gave them 5 stars now.

amazing food and the best staff you will find at any venue. Tyler specifically went above and beyond for us! His attention to detail was on point and always one step ahead. When our shuttle decided to stop showing up to bring people back to the other hotel guests were staying at, he took them in his own vehicle to make sure they all got back safely. Walker was also friendly and accommodating. He would check in to make sure we had everything we needed! Beautiful sights, amazing people... you can’t ask for more!

All the staff we dealt with were incredibly friendly and helpful. And TYLER IS THE BEST. We had a few bumps in the road early in our planning, as our first two coordinators left, but once Tyler stepped in, he was there to help us with every little thing we needed and answered our every question. All of our guests loved the venue and had a great time. Hands down the best venue we could have ever imagined.

being vegan because it was so delicious (it was vegan). The staff was always very polite and helpful, but there were definitely issues along the way. We had 3 different coordinators before the final 3 coordinators stepped in. 6 total people. 3 of 6 still work there. They were very helpful when we were able to speak to them. The communication between coordinators however is very much lacking. They also all seem very over worked due to the high turn over rate of coordinators and tons of events going on. So many events that some kind of bridal shower was held in the area my reception was going to be, WHILE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SETTING UP FOR IT. My MOH has to pass along instructions to the staff for setup because she had to get ready for the wedding. Half of our guests’ rooms weren’t ready when they were supposed to be. There was also a mixup during cocktail hour and 75 people were corralled into the Pub instead of spreading them, as planned, between the Patio and the Pub. When I asked the coordinator about it, I was told the passed hors d’oeuvres were never supposed to have been brought to the patio. After a few minutes though some of the waitstaff began passing them outside. Bartending was also severely lacking during cocktail hour (again due to the lack of staffing). Even still, the event was wonderful and all of our guests had a fabulous time. I would still recommend Glasbern, just be prepared to be patient, flexible, and frustrated.

A special call out to both Tyler and Joanna for their attention to detail and their customer service, they truly were amazing to our entire party and we are extremely appreciative of all their hard work. Our wedding turned out to be the day we had planned, with amazing food, (our family is still talking about the amazing cocktail hour and dinner), a beautiful setting to celebrate at and the ability to have our family and friends stay on site to enjoy the celebration with us. There were some staffing shake ups that occurred throughout our planning process and we felt a little left in the dark at times, but looking back, the staff that stepped in was phenomenal and our vision from the beginning carried throughout. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and helped us pull off the perfect day.
