We have been to so many weddings and have had many experiences with bands, which means we are very picky. Austin Nines has been by far one of the best wedding bands we’ve heard! They KNOW what songs to get your party started and dancing. The MC-ing was dynamic and lively. I asked them to introduce our wedding party like a basketball team and he delivered sooooo well. We also hired saxophone and piano for our ceremony and wow they really just elevated everything up a whole new level. As for the party and dance floor, we were blown away. We have had so many guests come up to us and tell us that our band was amazing and our dance floor was lit and packed with so much dancing and singing. Their pricing was also super affordable and reasonable than most other bands. The singers SLAYED. SLAYED. Leaving a raving review because they freaking deserve it. Brides, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Look no further!!! We had an impossible request of most bands: we wanted 1/3rd Country, 1/3rd contemporary/classics and 1/3rd Latin. It was a Vietnamese/Mexican wedding with a couple from Texas so you can imagine how difficult it was to find a band who could do all the genres we wanted. Glass Elephant and William Campbell pulled musicians from their two bands Austin Nines and Stereomonde and made it happen. Not only did they keep our dance floor PACKED for 2.5 hours, they MC'ed in English and Spanish and navigated the entrance, toasts, first dances, etc effortlessly. Would not hesitate the wholeheartedly recommend them. They also provided us with uplighting in our reception ballroom and a sound system for the cocktail hour.

The Austin Nines absolutely crushed our wedding reception! Full horn section, great vocals, dancing by the and was so flexible in learning some new songs and day-of changes. We highly recommend as this band has SOUL!

The band (Austin Nine's) and their management were amazing, not only their talent and performance the night of our event, but all the behind the scene's parts that led up to it were seamless and so easy. The musicians and singers are so talented! our guest keep coming up all night and asking who the band was, and where we found them. Everyone raved about how good they were! The band was fantastic. It was my daughter's wedding and we were extremely surprised at the quality of the musician's and both vocalists. They even went out of their way to learn 2 songs on short notice so the Father of the Bride could sing a song.

William and Austin 9's were a pleasure to work with. Everything was well executed and the band was amazing! They played all our favorites and did a great job involving the audience! Austin Nines played our wedding in September and they were amazing! Very responsive and easy to work with during the booking process. Allowed us to pick additional songs they would learn and play on our big day and they rocked it out of the park! Every was on the dance floor the entire night and they were great interacting with the crowd. Absolutely recommend.

If you are debating between a DJ and a live band for your wedding reception or event, STOP and book with Glass Elephant! You will not be disappointed. Whether you want modern pop songs and trusted dance floor ragers, a classy jazz/swing style, or really any other genre, you can get it here. I booked the Vintage 9 (VIX) which is a smaller subset of the Vintage 15 for my Sept 6, 2020 wedding at the Woodbine Mansion and it was 110% worth it. The musicians were outstanding and professional, and Christian (the lead singer) was also a perfect emcee. They also have a dedicated sound technician included in the price which ensured that the volume was neither too loud nor too quiet for the space. My husband and I are both active duty military and they worked with us to include a military clause in the contract in case we needed to deploy or attend mandatory training, and also offered a military discount which was very kind of them. Having a live band really elevated the whole event and made it something unique and special. Our guests, both young and old, still come up to me now and tell me how fantastic the band was and how it shaped the whole vibe of the reception. The dance floor was alive and packed, and those that either couldn't or didn't want to dance enjoyed the ambience. I absolutely loved every second! Thanks again!

We had the 6 piece band play at our wedding back in July of 2014. That included a bass, piano, drums, saxophone, male and female vocalist. We had approximately 100 guests at our reception and it was absolutely perfect! We had given the band a list of songs and the style of music we were looking for and we were not disappointed. The band played pieces that we requested as well as similar songs by different artists. Both male and female vocalists were outstanding and did a phenomenal job performing our first dance song (Unforgettable by Nat King Cole). Even though we didn't really have a group that liked to dance, all of the guests loved the music and we received a lot of compliments on how much everyone loved the band. The Vintage 15 was absolutely wonderful in every way. I was a little nervous booking a band I had not heard live, but I had no reason to worry. From the very beginning, Steve was great with corresponding and answered my questions very quickly. At the wedding, everyone commented on how great the band was. They created the perfect atmosphere for the fun and lively party I was hoping for. Everyone danced all night and had the best time. Months later I am still hearing how much everyone enjoyed them and how personable and fun they were. Professional, talented, and fun...you will not find a better band! The Vintage 15 is the best.

This Band was the best big band music that I have ever experienced. We like the fact that there were 15 band members and that there was a female and male singer. They were professional and not in the way of the party. They arrived on time and when they left, they cleaned up after themselves so you wouldn't know they were even there. You couldn't help but dance to their music. I would do it all over again. Thank you Vintage 15 for making our party a success!!!!!

The Vintage 15 played for our daughter's wedding in April 2013. Steve, from the very beginning, listened carefully and even helped me brainstorm a few concerns I had in regards to their placement in the venue and how things would flow. His patience and professionalism never wavered. I would be grateful for that alone but found myself completely blown away by the music once the reception started. From the flawless vocals to the arrangements, from the variety of songs to the absolute top-of-the-line quality of music this band performed... this wedding flew on musical wings! What still stays in my mind is the price - you will get ten times the sound and selection that you pay for. The Vintage 15 gives you studio sound for an exceptionally reasonable price. The dance floor was full all evening, and you could even hear our guests singing along, or swaying to the rhythm even if they weren't dancing. I could not give a higher recommendation. You will not be disappointed at any point along the way, beginning to end... unless they are not available to play on your chosen date. Then I would suggest you move the date!

The Vintage 15 brought everything and MORE to the stage! These musicians added spice, elegance and flare to my wedding. My guests could not stop talking about how talented and professional The Vintage 15 was. Having this group perform as the music of choice for the wedding was a fresh and classy addition that will be talked about for years. We hired The Vintage 15 to play at our wedding reception after first seeing them at a friend's wedding several years before. We were quite pleased with the entire experience and the personalization the band put into our special day. Even now, several months out, we are still receiving tons of compliments about how much people enjoyed the band. They were great to work with during the planning process and delivered excellent value. We would for sure work with them again and highly recommend them.

Having looked at so many bands, my mom and I were starting to get a bit down in mouth. I generally knew I wanted something in big band style and so we narrowed our search. We happened upon The Vintage 15 and I cannot stress how much of a gem this group is! They had videos and plenty of sound clips with such a huge selection of music on their site and it made our decision that much easier. Their sound is so classic but istill very hip. I had to have them and they got back to me so quickly. We nailed out all the details and they were so helpful and easy to work with! If I could do it a hundred times over I would pick them every time. Their professionalism and performance quality are five star and also they are all so nice! They made my night perfect and one I'll never forget.

My husband and I could not be happier with our experience with The Vintage 15. I first heard of them years ago when a friend performed with them, and when I was able to have my wedding in Central Texas, they were the first choice on my list. Our wedding had plenty of unique and not-so-unique elements, but having The Vintage 15 perform made it over-the-top amazing. Steve was great in communication and understanding my hesitation- they definitely weren't in our budget range, but gave us lots of time to figure out a way to make it happen. They had a trio play during our cocktail hour, and the full band set up and played through dinner, did all of our dances as a mix of playing and iPod (depending on the song, since some weren't their style at all), and every single musician was fabulous. They helped us make our wedding not seem like a cookie-cutter event and added an extra element to the awesomeness. I highly recommend The Vintage 15 for weddings, parties... anything and everything!

We were very intentional about hiring The Vintage 15 for our fourth daughter's wedding.No band we have hired for our other daughters' weddings has equaled the level of excellence in musicianship and professionalism as The Vintage 15. The dance floor rocked to the best Big Band music to be found and the vocals were hot and hip. I am so sorry we have run out of daughters to marry off. :-) I think my husband and I will have to renew our vows just so we can have them back.The Vintage 15 are consummate professionals, engaging,personable and downright fun! You can't go wrong hiring them but get your date in fast because they will book up quickly.

The Vintage 15 was the hit of our entire wedding and reception. It was very comforting to know that I did not have to hire multiple groups to play for the ceremony, cocktail, dinner, and reception. The Vintage 15 did it all. They traveled 8 hours to El Paso, TX and we did not have to worry about them not coming or being late. They were a lot of fun, and the music related to every generation. The Vintage 15 did a stellar job with our wedding. They were easy to work with and did a great job communicating with us to let us know they understood what we requested. They worked beautifully with our wedding coordinator. They did a wonderful job with the setlist we requested and nailed the performances. Solos were great, just enough stretch to keep the musician in me happy, and just in enough to keep the guests happy. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

We hired The Vintage 15 for our July wedding in El Paso, Texas. They were everything we had hoped for and more. Steve was a pleasure to work with during the planning phase, and the band handled all of the music at our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, after dinner, etc.) The band is AMAZING. Our wedding was almost three months ago and we are still hearing from people who were at our wedding raving about the band. If you are considering The Vintage 15 for your wedding (or any other event), I would highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed!

The Vintage 15 was exactly what we were looking for! Other than being so very talented, they were professional, on time and really made my whole wedding come together. So many guests made it a point to comment on what an awesome band choice we made. This band was truly the most memorable part of my wedding!

The Vintage 15 MADE our wedding reception! They were exactly the type of band and theme we were looking for. I received countless compliments on their performance at our reception. They created such an amazing ambiance for our reception and I am forever grateful for what they brought to our wedding. Love them!

This band is awesome! Everyone from my wedding is still talking about how awesome they were. My only complaint is that I had it set up that they would play for three hours and the last hour the dj music would play that they provided. What I didn't anticipate was that the band at the end of the three hours would pack up their instruments and start hauling it off the stage through the middle of the dance floor. We are talking about big instruments and amps. I guess that is my fault because i assumed their equipment would stay on stage until the end of the wedding and then they would pack up everything so I should of asked or clarified rather than assuming. It made it look like my wedding was over an hour early, but luckily not to many people left at that time. Other than that one thing, they were awesome and easy to work with. I was able to set it up so that they had a classical guitarist play at my ceremony and the music was awesome. I also had three pieces play for an hour during cocktail hour, and then the fifteen piece band played for three hours and their dj music was played for an hour. They provided all of that!!! They also provided some extra lighting. They were just in general awesome and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a bad! They were totalllly worth it!

I don't even know where to begin about how amazing this band is. Their sound is absolutely second to none. Every member was perfect, professional and clearly talented - it shows in every sound they produce. My husband and myself could seriously not be happier with the decision to book The Vintage 15 - and our guests were blown away. Our guests, friends and family still talk about how utterly terrific the band was - they made my night utterly magical and SO MUCH DARN FUN!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

We hired Steve and the rest of the band for our wedding back in March, and they were fantastic! They handled the ceremonial music, the reception music, and the dance music. The value is also great, considering it was 15 musicians taking a 3 hour round trip to play for 5 hours!

I cannot say enough great things about The Vintage 15!!! They were AMAZING! I will admit that prior to our wedding, I was a bit worried about having a jazz band as our wedding band as I wasn't sure if all of our guests would like just having jazz all night. Let me tell you that my fears were all for naught! EVERYONE attending our wedding could not stop saying how cool and great our band was. They were so great that our guests didn't wait until dinner service was done to get up and start dancing! Our venue didn't know what to do since this NEVER happens! haha! Even the kids were up and moving the entire time they were playing. Both singers have an amazing voice and every single band member was spot on. They have an incredible energy and passion for music that they filled our venue with joy! Definitely book The Vintage 15!!!

Amazing! That’s all I can say about Vintage 15! My then fiancé and I had trouble deciding on whether to have a band or a DJ, after much debate we decided to hire a band for the cocktail our and the first 2 hours of the reception, then a DJ for the later 3 hours of the night. Having both a band and a DJ was a little tricky logistically, but Vintage 15 was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. They also were able to perform our first dance song, which isn’t typically in their song selection. I don’t live in Austin and so I wasn’t able to actually hear the band live before we hired them. But, I can say that as good as Vintage 15 sounds in online clips, they are even more impressive in person! My fiancé and I were thrilled with how amazing they were! Everything from their look, to their songs, was just perfect! We had countless guests come us to us during, and after our wedding telling us just how much they loved this band. We are extremely thankful that we hired Vintage 15, and I would highly recommend them for any event! Thank you Vintage 15 for making our night so special!!

I wanted the atmosphere that a live band brings to a wedding reception but did not want "wedding singer" feel. I talked to Steve at The Vintage 15 and it was an awesome choice!!! He was very helpful and great to work with!! We talked about what I was looking for and my budget and finally settled on a 4 peice band. It was EXACTLY what I wanted!!! They sounded awesome. I had several people comment that they could tell that these guys actually were enjoying themselves. And everyone was impressed that they were so young but so talented!!! They gave me that magical atmosphere that I wanted. The Vintage 15 gave that to me!!!

The band is spectacular! The singer is a joy to listen to! We had a couple snafu's with the playlist at the wedding, but even though they didn't play what we asked for, the music was great! everyone loved them! I have no complaints except that the playlist got mixed up- they learned a couple of songs for us, and kept the atmosphere alive all night!

We saw The Vintage 15 first at a Wedding show and were instantly drawn to them. We hired 5 members, including a singer and found this to be surprisingly affordable and a great value. This was one of our best decisions, as the band made our dinner/dancing part of the evening elegant, our first dance unforgettable and our 100 guests were all impressed. It made our evening that much more magical. While planning my wedding, the manager of the band directly communicated with me, helping me make these plans easy and effortless. Even though the tunes were from a different era, this group made them sound fresh and new again. Each musician was very talented in their expressive ability of musicality. They also accepted requests and performed songs that all could relate to. Their on-stage presence was impeccable; as we had a black & white theme they accommodated this without hesitation. This is a very professional group that I would recommend to anyone looking for something special for their wedding.
