Glass House is a modern wedding venue located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, near the Charles River and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Recognized by Interior Design Magazine as one of six “Eye Catching Restaurants in the World” and by Boston Foodies as one of area’s “Most Instagrammable Restaurants,” Glass House is a beautiful, award-winning venue to host outdoor and indoor ceremonies and receptions. The restaurant can host up to 60 seated guests or 125 standing guests.
The space inside features original artwork and photography, expertly designed details like custom etched glasswork and wallpaper, and a customizable letter board. The unique interior features innovation and creativity throughout its modern, yet casual design with a sweeping floor plan and floor to ceiling windows throughout.
Glass House offers an American-inspired menu that will suit a variety of tastes. To ensure each guest is fully satisfied, dinner can be accompanied by passed hors d'oeuvres and beautifully designed displays. The various cuisines can also be paired with custom cocktails, wines, and local craft beers. As a final touch, desserts with rich flavors can be added to top off the dining experience. We are able to accommodate food allergies and sensitivities.

Ceremonies can either take place outside on the open-air plaza or within the comforts of the building. Glass House was the first venue we toured, and we booked it as fast as we could. We decided on the “North End Buffet” cocktail style reception for our 120 guests, which seemed like the perfect option for the relaxed, intimate, and modern vibe we wanted. Not going to lie - we were a little nervous as neither of us had ever been to a wedding without a seated dinner before. Thank god we placed our faith in Kristen, the events manager, because now we couldn’t imagine it any other way! Months later, our guests are raving about the food and drink (especially the dinner buffet, late-night flatbreads, chocolate-covered strawberries, and spicy mango margaritas). The flow from the outdoor ceremony into cocktail hour, toasts, and dancing was flawless. We lucked out with the weather and loved that our guests used every space available including the ping pong tables, outdoor seating and firepit, bars, and dining room. The dance floor was full all night, but we were still able to have conversations, and it never felt crowded thanks to the doors that open to the patio. Finally, Kristen and the Glass House team were phenomenal on the day of. Kristen remembered the small details we had mentioned to her, there was never a line at the bar, and we overall felt very taken care of all night. Our wedding at Glass House was a dream.
The Glass House was amazing venue for our wedding! Kristen was very organized and made planning to smoothly. The food was great and everyone loved playong the games on the patio. The servers were very attentive and the staff set up all our decorations beautifully. Our guests appreciated being right in Cambridge that weekend. We're very glad we chose it for our big day!
We had an excellent experience with the Glass House, from start to finish! It was the perfect venue for our smaller, reception-only celebration, and Kristen was an excellent guide throughout the process. She provided helpful and honest feedback and her team was so helpful the day of, getting things set up and generally being excellent hosts. The custom cocktails and food, especially the passed apps (mini lobster rolls!) were all amazing. Our guests loved this venue, particularly the outdoor space that provided a respite from the steamy dance floor, and a place to hang for the non-dancers among us. If you're looking for a fun city wedding, we absolutely recommend the Glass House!

She was incredibly accommodating, working closely with us to ensure every detail matched our vision. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she made the entire process so smooth and stress-free.
The venue itself is stunning—beautifully modern with a warm ambiance that was perfect for our celebration. Our guests were blown away not only by the setting but also by the food. They couldn't stop raving about how delicious everything was! The drinks were top-notch as well, perfectly crafted.
Kristin and the entire team at Glass House truly went above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality. We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day. If you're looking for a venue that combines excellent service, incredible food, and a gorgeous atmosphere, and an amazing party, Glass House is the place to go!
I cannot thank Kristin, Shauna, and the entire Glass House staff enough for giving us the wedding of our dreams. Every step - from the initial tour, contracts, personalizing the menu and drinks, even clean up at the end of the night - was flawless because of their professionalism, kindness, and flexibility. I would choose Glass House over and over again if I could. Our guest count was 88 people, and while a reception-style dinner is unconventional it was perfect and fit the vision we wanted. Many of our friends asked "how did you find this place??" because they were having so much fun with the games, having delicious food and drinks, exploring the varied interior, and overall having a great time. I'm so happy we chose this restaurant for one of the best days of our lives.

Incredible venue and wedding experience! I selected Glass House because I had gone there for lunch multiple times and knew the space was beautiful and the service is excellent. Although it is a restaurant, it transformed into a wedding event space perfectly for our wedding.
I had a 60 person wedding with a buffet and Kristen helped us through all the steps, I can’t thank her enough. So many guests commented that it truly was the best wedding food they’ve ever had…which is usually not the case with wedding food. I felt that it was an excellent value hosting the wedding here. As the bride, they made sure I had a special plate for food intolerances, as well a handful of guests.
Every question I had Kristen helped keep everything on track. The Glass House staff during the wedding were professional and efficient, especially with the open bar. Can’t wait for our 1-year anniversary dinner here.

The Glass House provided a venue that was modern, versatile, and fun for our wedding this past weekend. The staff is extremely professional. Everyone that helped us was friendly, supportive, and helpful — from Jen, Shauna, and Maggie to the support staff on the night of the event . We had clear communication and responsiveness was above and beyond throughout the entire planning process. Major props to the Glass House for helping us host such a wonderful wedding in the pandemic era with a focus on safety. The space itself is wonderful. We had our ceremony outdoors with their beautiful greenery around. The restaurant was able to open to the outside throughout the evening for access to the outdoor bar and tables, games, and fire pit. The inside of the restaurant is spacious, comfortable, and beautiful — it’s no wonder the Glass House won an architectural award after opening! The food was fresh, delicious, and memorable — from lobster rolls, to oysters, to bacon wrapped scallops, mac n cheese bar, prime rib — our guests (especially those from outside of New England) were very happy. The bar service was phenomenal. Even setting up beforehand and taking home decorations after was convenient. 10/10 experience, would highly recommend for a wedding venue or any other type of event. The Glass House also hosts showers, dinners, parties, etc. My husband and I will be back for dinner soon!
Our wedding experience with Glass House was amazing! We reached out to Glass House in order to hold a small ceremony and dinner, and Glass House made our wedding feel both intimate and luxurious. We used their private dining room for our ceremony and seated three-course dinner, and their bar dining area to host our guests for a mini-reception in between. Among the things we loved about the physical space were the lighting and décor, which led to great photo opportunities both inside and outside.
All of our guests complimented the food, atmosphere, and service. The on-site staff was not only professional, but also friendly with our guests. Jennifer and her team were so helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, from discussing the menu (our party had various dietary restrictions to manage) to working out arrangements under the unique Covid-19 circumstances.
