nning, a great centerpiece for our wedding. In addition, both the cappuccino and blueberry cake flavors were phenomenal. The blueberry in particular was not just good but very interesting, truly unique and unlike anything we’d had before. In terms of planning and preparation, Kelly was extremely professional. We had a pleasant experience tasting a variety of flavors, and she took plenty of time to work with us about our ideas for a wedding cake and come up with something we’d really like! She was also so helpful guiding us in the planning process, as we hadn’t gone to look at linens/colors yet, right away Kelly sprang into action, gave us a recommended vendor for rentals, called them up to see what availability they had and explained the process/order of planning to us. It was extremely helpful and definitely above and beyond! Due to an emergency closure of our initial venue we had to make some minor schedule changes relatively late in the planning process, and Kelly took this in stride and took care of everything for us. Big thumbs up for Glass Slipper Gourmet, they nailed it!

uring which my husband and I were able to sample 10 (!) different flavors. Kelly diligently kept track of our preferences, helping us narrow the options and ultimately pick our favorite ("Pucker Up"). She also showed us styrofoam rounds of different cake sizes to bring the proposed dimensions to life and allow us to visualize our future cake. We appreciated her suggestions for ways to stay within our budget, including supplementing our main cake with sheet cakes behind the scenes. After such a great experience early in the process, we weren't surprised that Kelly very much delivered on the day-of. She coordinated independently with our wedding planner, arrived on time, and beautifully applied the flowers provided by our florist. The cake was as delicious as when we sampled it many months prior, and we received a handful of compliments from our guests. We're gradually enjoying the extra pieces in our freezer, though Kelly has a special deal where you can purchase a small cake on your one year anniversary (below her usual minimum purchase/size requirements). We would 100% work with Kelly again and are so grateful to have had her as our baker for our special day!

We had our hearts set on the flavors we had initially chosen and the person who took her business over was unable to accommodate our dream cupcake and cutting cake menu. Although we were worried about finding a new vendor, it ended up being a silver lining, as we found Kelly with Glass Slipper Gourmet and were thrilled with her work! She was quick to respond, professional, completely accommodating of our hopes for our flavors, and when we met for our tasting we realized how lucky we were to work with her! We went in with our original menu set in our minds, but upon tasting her signature flavor (Honey Bee Mine) we were completely blown away and knew we had to add it to our cupcake menu immediately! Our guests raved about the cupcake flavors and the presentation (including our cake topper featuring the bride, groom, and our feline companion) and our cutting cake were just beautiful. We are looking forward to having our frozen leftover cake on our 1-year anniversary!

We had the Valencia (Devil's Food cake with Grand Marnier liquor layered with chocolate custard and sweet orange marmalade fillings). The sweet orange marmalade was far tamer than I expected it to be and was such a compliment to the other flavors. From start to finish our experience with Kelly and Glass Slipper Gourmet was perfect. Highly Recommend!

t two people with me is because I don't or should I say didn't eat cake. I was staring at the samples they were trying and I advised Kelly that I am not a cake eater. Believe me when i tell you that i tried a little peace of the lemon and was in heaven. I can't wait for our wedding. I got red velvet and lemon and the red velvet was even perfect. Kelly is very professional and knowledgeable about her craft. I would give her 10 stars if I could. Keep up the great work Kelly.

d confident in choosing glass slipper gourmet, which is a huge deal when you are planning a wedding because it feels like you are constantly worrying and making decisions you aren’t too sure about. When we first met with Kelly for our tasting we were very impressed with how easy it was. She walked us through everything without overwhelming us. She got to know us as a couple and helped steer us in the right direction. We had her make our main wedding cake (3 tiers) and two small cakes to showcase our parents wedding cake toppers. Her flavors are all to die for. We chose 2 flavors; her famous “honeybee mine” which not only tastes fantastic but visually it was a total show stopper & our second flavor was a chocolate stout which is a new flavor she has recently added making all chocolate lovers fall to their knees.....YUM!!! Kelly was very professional and easy to work with. I never had to worry. She was on top of everything from double checking on venue details to letting me know exact arrival time to reminding me to reach out to florist about leaving flowers for her to place on the cake. I cannot say enough great things. There are always a few things that don’t go exactly right on your wedding day and I am happy to say that my cakes were not one of them ....everything was PERFECT!!! Thank you Kelly!!!

r cake-worthy events in life (aren't those all of them, though???). We had a few back-and-forth emails before my guy and I made a trip to the Bay Area (we planned our wedding from out of state), but then suddenly I didn't hear from her again for a possible tasting (my emails were bouncing back to me). I was pretty bummed, but moved on with my life. When I got back, she sent me an email - my email ended up in her spam! She felt bad that we hadn't met up for the tasting, and since we weren't planning on going back to the Bay Area before the wedding, Kelly did something amazing: she arranged to overnight us samples of cakes in a cooled box for us to taste. WHAT!!?!? It was amazingly generous of her to do so, and we did select the Snickerdoodle cake flavor for our wedding cake. I was hesitant to spend so much money on a cake to feed our guests plus have a layer to take home to freeze for our anniversary, so I ended up supplementing our "show off" cake with some sheet cakes from elsewhere for cost reasons. I also had Kelly add a "faux" layer to the cake to make it look like there was enough there for everyone and no one seemed to notice at all! The cake was beautiful AND delicious and I can't wait to eat it all again!

She is great about helping you come up with the right sort of menu for your event while keeping in mind the season, occasion and budget. I would highly highly highly recommend her services.

elegant vintage and Kelly's creation was perfect for it. One person actually asked me where our cake was because she thought this was a museum piece (venue was filled with antiques). Kelly was also used for the bridal shower, which was vintage tea party theme. The cupcakes were equally as perfect and each were beautifully decorated and again very flavorful. The intricacy of detail was amazing and both the cupcake and wedding cake were a work of art. I will definitely use Kelly again for any special events.

d sugar-coated champagne grape accents. Unfortunately we were getting married when they were not yet in season but Kelly managed to find artificial ones online for us and coat those. I'm telling you - you could NOT tell that they were not real. And the cake was gorgeous (and surely very tasty!). So many of our guests snapped photos of the cake because it was so pretty. And Kelly was always prompt about emailing back, which I greatly appreciated. Could not have been happier. THANK YOU KELLY!

I could not have asked for anything better. However, what put it over the top was the taste of both cakes. They were delicious and we got so many compliments on the look and taste from guests. I would order another cake from her just for a party because she does such a fabulous job!!!
