she kept us all on track making sure she got every photo I had requested. I completely forgot to put on my veil until she reminded me, so not only did she save my day but I have beautiful photos in my veil! She went above and beyond and gave us beautiful pictures of everything we wanted and more. You can’t go wrong with choosing Gleason Photography!

g. We had heard so many good things, and the Gleasons came highly recommended. I should have gotten a bit of a hint when phone communication was non-existent, there was not a meeting before the event to talk about our needs and wants. Engagement photos seemed more difficult than they should have been to schedule. Lots of "if you think the weather will be ok we can do it that day" - no, I don't know which is why I spent a pretty penny to have someone who *does* know. We shook it off and hoped that things would go smoothly. The night before the wedding, I got a call around 10pm saying they wouldn't be coming on the party bus. Tough that we didn't know that beforehand. The bride was being bothered with things like that hours before the wedding. They also let us know last minute that they were only bringing one car to Omaha and that they would pop back and forth between the two houses we were getting ready at. The houses were pretty far apart, and we paid for two photographers, so that also felt like we were being "surprised" there too. They agreed that one would be with the girls and one would be with the guys, and we'd give them a ride to the ceremony since they wouldn't be bringing a second vehicle to the job. On the ride to the church with the photogs, my bridesmaid was told all about how one of them had to go back to full-time work outside of photography because of COVID, and other "sad things" that didn't belong in an already very weird day due to COVID. We needed JOY! My husband's fly was down for the first half of our engagement pics and during wedding pics there were a few things that are seen that could have been called out. From what I hear most photogs will say something when those things are happening. Because there was no real consultation before the day, it seemed they didn't know how to navigate our ceremony. There was no phone communication and e-mails replies were slow. I finally heard from them before the wedding, when they e-mailed to say that our payment was late. Odd, as we hadn't heard from them and were worried that they had closed - so we hadn't made the final payment because of the lack of response. The photos were delivered at the end of the timeframe that was given to us, and they were completely out of order and not organized in any way. For example, a photo of us getting ready that morning was right next to a photo from the end of the night. It was really hard sorting through the photos, and we expected a better presentation of the final product. The photos simply didn't look like the photos on their website. The ginormous folder of photos that were sent over still included photos that weren't useable (my eyes were closed, or the grooms, etc. - obviously non-usable photos). Beyond that, the photos didn't seem to be edited at all. It was a bummer in every way, and interpersonally quite awkward - there was nothing that we could do though. So we did nothing - I was incredibly stressed and chasing after a vendor before the wedding wasn't on my to-do list. As I said, I am sure this was all due to COVID, and hope that things are smooth, but this was our honest experience. We ended up with a handful of gorgeous photos. I guess that's all you really need.
