Glen Choga Lodge

Glen Choga Lodge is a wedding venue located in Topton, NC. This charming venue was built in 1935 and is perfect for a nostalgic wedding celebration. The nearby Lake Nantahala offers access to lake and boat tours. At Glen Choga, they take great pride in being one of the many historical sites in the region. Glen Choga Lodge has a deep connection with the Nantahala Forest. The lodge was constructed using saddle and notch construction, and in 1996, it was included in the National Register of Historic Places. The venue has a guest capacity of up to 30 guests. The 8000-square-foot lodge sits on a large, open glen, making it ideal for outdoor events. Several locations have spaces for rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. Doug and Terri bought the lodge in 2019 and love showing guests the place. There are 12 rooms in the lodge, and it can hold up to 24 guests for overnight stays. Your caterer can work from the kitchen in the lodge, and the dining room can hold up to 30 guests. Glen Choga Lodge offers a range of wedding packages, including weekend, weekday, and day-of options. Overnight packages include accommodations and use of the self-service and catering kitchens. You and your guests can access the firepit areas and hiking trails as part of your wedding package, making for a truly memorable celebration. For extra special wedding photos, you have the option of the Pontoon boat excursion add-on, where your photographer can capture images on the lake.
