ner Alison was so helpful the whole year leading up to the wedding, accommodating us at last minute and being available when we needed her. The only thing that isn’t making me give a five star rating was that we felt like we weren’t that important the day of the wedding as actual members of the club are. Another wedding had come to take pictures at the venue which is more than fine but eventually the wedding party made their way indoors and hung at the bar inside - also not a huge deal until our cocktail hour was about to start and they still were there. They also kept using the upstairs bathrooms where all of our purses and clothes were, where children were changing and where my 3 month old nephew was taking a nap. There are bathrooms on the main floor so I don’t understand why they would use anything upstairs except to rub it in that we aren’t members and they are. I know Glen Echo staff were in a rock and a hard place but we paid a lot of money to be there that night and we definitely didn’t feel important as they other wedding party didn’t leave until the last minute when our guests had already started showing up. I appreciate everything Glen Echo did for us and the beautiful space for a great night, I just hope a situation like that can be handled better in the future.

ns. We had our ceremony on the lawn down the hill from the clubhouse and adjacent to the lake and our photos turned out beautiful! Glen Echo provided and set up all of the chairs the morning of. Our reception was held on the patio where once again they provided all of the furniture, linens, and flatware and set up the day of. Alison is great to work with and always responded to our questions promptly. The day of went perfectly, thanks to their awesome staff. Their in house chef is amazing and our guests are still raving about how good the food was. You never know if a venue will be able to serve a large amount of food promptly and still keep the quality, but Glen Echo did. We were more than happy with our choice and our guests had a blast. Thanks for making our day Glen Echo!!

us feel so comfortable and welcome. The grounds and clubhouse and breathtaking, and we were able to have our dance floor out on the patio, which was perfect for a fall night! We received so many compliments on the food and the friendliness of the staff. The staff was so amazing on the day of, and Alison and the staff worked so diligently to make sure everyone had a great time. We love Glen Echo, and we couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue for our big day! We highly recommend!!

s so easy to work with and amazingly helpful. She knows what she is talking about and put all of my worries as a bride at ease. We planned our wedding from out of town and she sat on multiple conference calls with us throughout the wedding process. The day of, she knew exactly what was going on and had the timeline down!
Glen Echo never told us no! They were so accommodating with everything we wanted to do. Many venues we researched scoffed at us when we told them we wanted space for a 6-piece band, a dessert table, a Photo Booth plus a location for an outside ceremony. Glen Echo has the space to make it all happen! They have the most adorable bridal suite right there on location and we were able to get in at 8am to get ready! They also have a grooms suite for the guys! They have 3 options for a ceremony (in case of rain change), which put all of my worries at ease on the day of! The worked with our budget and made everything that we wanted possible. And the food - OMG! It was SO good :)
We had the most beautiful outdoor ceremony with no limitations on music, flower petals on the ground, size, etc. Glen Echo really made sure that our vision became a reality, and they did it all with the most professionalism and care that we experienced in the entire wedding planning process.
Our guests are still talking about Glen Echo a month later. The elegant charm of the location gave our day such a magical, fairytale feel. I could not have asked for a better experience with a ceremony and reception location!

ty to have cocktail hour and our dance floor on the patio overlooking the course. We were lucky to have perfect weather but the great thing about this venue is that they also have a beautiful indoor space with tall wood cathedral ceilings available as a back-up so you don't have to worry about the expense of renting a tent in case of rain. We had a large wedding and their team (lead by coordinator Alison) handled everything flawlessly. Several of our guests said the service/staff was incredible. It is a perfect venue for any occasion!

utdoor option and tons of character, we wanted something classy and unique and found everything we were looking for at GECC. Our outdoor ceremony was set up beautifully and the food and reception were perfect! The entire day was so stress free and the entire staff at the club were helpful and accomodating. We have recieved so many compliments on how great the entire experience was. Heather took a lot of time to sit down with us and understand what we were looking for, she followed my pintrest page and tried to incorporate things from my page, and helped me with things I hadn't even thought of yet. ey have a fantastic bridal suite that you can get ready in. We had a bridal salon come to us to do hair and make up so we did not have to leave all day! They provide golf carts to take pictures all over the beautiful golf course. The food is amazing and the servers are fantastic!
