Glen-Ella Springs Inn

My wedding day at Glen Ella Springs Inn was absolutely perfect. From the inn accomodations for my friends and family, to the excellent food and service, and te professionalism of Luci Kivett, the manager, I could not have asked for a more perfect day. I did not leave the inn all weekend and was able to have my dream wedding all at the property, while being with friends and family the entire time. It was a magical celebration in the mountains of north Georgia. The venue had vintage tables, chairs and amazing additions to offer. LOVED MY CHOICE WITH THIS VENUE!!

Glen Ella was the perfect backdrop for my dream wedding. The venue is stunning, we got married in the lower garden surrounded by blooming flowers and beautiful trees. The Inn was rented out for the weekend by family and friends, creating an intimate fairy-tale setting for the wedding weekend. The food was amazing, the chef even created a special pesto sauce for me because I have a nut allergy. Luci and Ed wanted everything to be perfect for me and my husband, and it truly was. Not only is the Inn beautiful, organic, and natural, but the staff at Glen Ella, especially Luci, made me feel like a princess for the entire year of planning. We live in Florida and were planning from afar, but Luci instilled calmness in all of us because she had a list of vendors for everything we needed, she created plans, thought of every little detail we would need, completely understood and embraced my vision, and kept us calm all year long. She made me feel like I was her only bride for a year. The day of the wedding was completely relaxing because the staff at Glen Ella set everything up for us, brought us mimosas and continued to calm everyone's nerves. When I saw the ceremony and reception area it was everything I dreamt of and more. It was so nice to not have to do anything but be pampered the day of the wedding. The next day Luci and Ed had everything packed and organized for us. They even ensured there was food and cake in our room for after the wedding and for our trip back to Florida. I can not thank them enough for creating the wedding of my dreams, being there for the entire planning process, and ensuring everything went smoothly the day of the wedding. I am absolutely in love with Glen Ella and its staff!!! My husband and I got married at Glen Ella, April 17, 2010 and it could not have been a more perfect day. Luci and Ed (the inn keepers) made sure everything went just as planned and really exceeded our expectations. We rented out the entire bed and breakfast for our wedding weekend which made for a very intimate occassion. We had the ceremony in the lower garden, cocktail hour around the pool, and the reception in the pavilion. Everything looked amazing...mainly because Glen Ella takes such good care of their gardens all year long. 130 people attended our wedding and there was plenty of room for dancing and mingling in the pavilion. Ed and Luci made sure we were able to relax the entire weekend and took care of everything for us. We were able to spend time with our family and friends hiking, around the bonfire, and playing games in the field without worrying about all of the final details of our wedding. We were so impressed with Luci and Ed during the planning process that we even had our Rehearsal Dinner and Bridesmaid luncheon here. We had a buffet dinner for our reception and the food was delicious! We missed the appetizers during the cocktail hour due to pictures but when we arrived at the reception Luci had made us a plate of all of the appetizers and they were delicious too. Luci and Sherry (our wedding director and florist) made sure we had everything we needed during the reception- our wine glasses were never empty. Little things like this really made us feel special. We never felt like we were just another wedding at Glen Ella which made all the difference in the world. All of the other reviews are true! You really feel like family when you are here. If you are thinking about having your wedding at Glen Ella I highly recommend it! My husband and I had an amazing wedding weekend and it is all because of Ed, Luci, and the staff at Glen Ella!

We had our ceremony in the beautiful gardens on the grounds. It is a historic bed and breakfast, so all of my family stayed at the inn all weekend. It was fun to be around everyone all weekend celebrating. The food is OUTSTANDING! They are very accommadating, and reasonably priced for what you get. The views are breathtaking, it being nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I would recommend it to everyone!;My only warning is that you will want to go back every year to relive the magical moments you will surely have there!
