Groom here! I have two left feet and all the rhythm of a vending machine, but Glenn made every lesson a great experience. Even after a bad day at work (when I was grumpy) my fiancée and I would come away from his lessons smiling and relaxed. We were originally just going for a wedding dance, but now we’re talking about keeping it up after the wedding. If you’re reading this on the Knot, tell your man that it’ll all be ok, and he’ll probably end up looking forward to it in the end. Glenn is that good.

For the few months leading up to my wedding, I worked with Glenn on both my father daughter dance with my dad (where we danced a foxtrot), and my first dance with my now husband (where we danced a waltz). Working with Glenn was absolutely wonderful. As someone who doesn't have much experience dancing, he brought us all out of our comfort zones, while making it all so enjoyable and genuinely so much fun. I'll start off by saying that I don't know how to dance. Other than just messing around at some weddings, I never learned. So when I got engaged, I wanted to learn a nice dance for my wedding. We called Glenn and talked to him about what we wanted. I told him I was very novice and that we wanted a simple, elegant dance that I would be able to remember. Something not overly complicated. Once we shared the song, he new what kind of dance would fit. From the first lesson, Glenn was very personable and kind. He had simple analogies to help explain different elements of our dance. He was also a funny guy who made the lessons fun. It wasn't a boring lesson, we were actually excited when our lesson days came. Our wedding day has passed and everyone in the crowd was impressed by our dancing. We filmed our dance and I can say, it looked exactly the way Glenn said it would. Elegant and beautiful really. I would highly recommend Glenn. We had so much fun we're thinking of coming back for some salsa lessons. Thanks for everything Glenn!

Glen is amazing! I recommend him to all my friends. He gives you confidence, puts you at ease immediately, and you have a great choreographed dance in the lessons. I was doubtful I'd feel confident after only five lessons but I can say I feel so confident and proud of what my first dance will be! He's been one of the best decisions we've made!

My husband and I went to Stardust Ballroom Dance Studio to learn our first dance for our wedding. Admittedly, we are both horrible dancers and were very anxious about our first dance. We found Glenn on the Knot and after the very first session, knew we had made a great choice. Glenn worked with us for 5 sessions where he choreographed our first dance and helped us not only feel comfortable for our big day, but we also had an absolute blast while attending these classes. We could not recommend Glenn enough to anyone!

We booked a package of classes with Glenn to prep for our first dance. As two complete non-dancers, we were extremely uptight and nervous. From day one, Glenn made us feel comfortable and capable. He listened to the song we chose and taught us an appropriate dance piece by piece until we had a whole dance down. By the time the wedding came around, we felt super comfortable on the dance floor (and spent the entire night out on it)!

Glenn turned a former college football player with zero dance experience into a ballroom dancer! We took lessons with Glenn leading up to our wedding to learned a choreographed first dance. He balanced each of our learning styles and speeds and helped us become confident and comfortable on the dance floor. We had so much fun together in our lessons and enjoyed every moment. We executed the first dance just as Glenn taught us and were so happy we invested in lessons with him. As a person, Glenn is kind, funny, friendly, and talented. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to work with him!

We decided to take lessons only about 3 weeks before our wedding to help us feel more confident (zero experience). We only went for 2 sessions, but he made the most of our time. He reviewed our music beforehand and had already come up with a simple routine for us. We ended up having fun!

Strongly recommended. If you have barely any experience in ballroom dancing and your wedding is coming up, no worries! this dance class will do magic for you! Me and my hubby took 5 classes with Glenn just two month prior to our wedding and were able to have an amazing performance on our wedding night which led to countless compliments. Our instructor, Glenn Clark, choreographed a beautiful dance for us to our favorite song "Por Una Cabeza" from the famous movie, "Scent of a Woman". We not only outperform ourselves on the big day but also made a lot of good memories together while taking the class, prior to the big day. Glen was very patient in helping us learn and finesse each and every move to the best of our abilities in such a short period of time. He thought us how to dance to the rhythm of the music. In short, if we go back in time, we would definitely do this again.

We had Glenn as our dance instructor for our first dance at our wedding. He was amazing and super helpful. He took his time trying to help make the moves relate to our lives. He would record us so we can practice at home with it. He would also text us back if we had questions. Would 110% recommend him for anyone looking for dance help!

Glenn was a great teacher for beginners. Even if we messed up (which we did a lot) he always remained positive and encouraged us. We would highly recommend for any engaged couple looking to enhance their first dance on their big day.

If there is one thing I could recommend to couple's getting married, it would be to take dance lessons, especially with Glenn!  We took private lessons where he customized a dance based on our first dance song. It was a fun date night but made for an even better night as our first dance as husband and wife. The dance was beautifully choreographed and made the pictures and video even better! Glenn was amazing to work with. Very flexible but also patient working with not as advanced dancers. Plus the value of what you pay for, you will get nothing like this in the area, especially with private choreographed lessons. Glenn is a MUST to work with!

Can’t say enough wonderful things about working with Glenn! He helped us pick our song, was very patient with us, and was a joy to work with. He is very knowledgeable, funny and very much loves what he does.

Before our lessons with Glenn, my husband and I had only tried to dance once, and it was worse than what you get at a middle school mixer. I didn’t want that to be our experience at our wedding, so we signed up for Glenn’s first dance package. Boy, did he have his work cut out for him. By the end of our five 45-minute sessions, we were doing the fox trot and spins and even a dip at the end. Not only was the dancing good exercise, but learning to reach each other’s body language and queues also helped us grow closer as a couple. And we were able to dance confidently at our reception to the delight of our family and friends. Glenn is very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. He really makes the most of each session. We highly recommend him as an instructor!

My husband and I went to Glenn for lessons leading up to our first dance at our wedding. Glenn is very professional, and he did a wonderful job teaching two newbies how to dance. We took lessons with him over a month and a half prior to the wedding and he fully prepared us in that time. He was very helpful finding a dance that would work well with the song we had chosen. The dance turned out wonderfully at our wedding and it is all thanks to Glenn's great teaching skills. I would highly recommend him!

My wife and I purchased 3 lessons for a wedding choreography. Glenn listened to our song, came up with a routine that we then practiced. Glenn is a fantastic instructor! He was able to get both of us looking like professionals quickly, and we knocked our dance out of the park at our wedding reception. We would highly recommend Glenn!

The groom and I went to Glenn for dance lessons for our first dance as a married couple. I know nothing about dancing and am in general uncoordinated but Glenn was able to work through it. Our first dance was very romantic and went perfect thanks to all the practice and instruction by Glenn. I wasn’t even that nervous before the dance because I knew we had practiced it so much. I highly recommend him to anyone in the area getting married. He is very flexible with times of lessons, after all every bride is quite busy. Good luck and happy dancing!
