re able to get married at Glenora. Kathy worked very hard to make sure we were able to get everything we wanted and needed. My guests are still raving about how much fun they had and was so nice to have it at the winery. We loved how much the winery supported us in the planning process. Tasting the wines for our selection was fun. We stayed the night of our tasting which was fun as well and also helped us gather information for our wedding website for our guests. Another perk to the venue, lots to do in the area for our guests. I did my own flowers (FiftyFlowers) & music as Apple Music to save costs. Kathy was super supportive of it all but lesson learned, you can't do it all yourself! My family was a huge help and was glad they all were staying on site so it was easy for them to help me, especially the flowers & getting all the little things ready. We had an amazing photographer out of Syracuse, Stu Gallaghaer, but every picture at Glenora was stunning. The willow tree, the vineyards in fall, the deck and the beautiful plants & lights, to the reception area with all the beautiful windows and natural wood. The views from ceremony were amazing! We feel so blessed. It sprinkled a bit as we walked down the aisle and Kathy was so calm it kept me calm & like she said, rain brings rainbows and sure enough we got a slight one during our vows. Like I've told everyone, the fees were amazing compared to other venues and the biggest cost was the food, which is typical anyways. We were at max capacity with around 140 people total including the kids. They were very kid friendly with lots of options for the plated kids meals. I loved that I didn't have to bring in a cater & that the salad was plated then we had the buffet. A lot of my guests could stay on site and many nearby, so lots of options. Missy the Inn's manager was also very supportive, especially when it came to room holds. She also helped us find a golf cart rental that was dropped off for the weekend since my parents and grandma rented the little yellow house on site and we also were able to offer it to our guests with limited mobility for the wedding. Kathy recommended the toast and cake cutting on the deck before dinner and I should've listed to her and her expertise, everyone was having so much fun talking it was hard to get people to pay attention for the cake cutting, bouquet toss, anniversary dance and toasts. Another thing I loved was the dancing was on the deck, that way if people wanted to talk without load music it was easy to do. Plus no one was sweating, even at the end of September, which was nice to have the dancing outside. We waited 2 years for our September wedding and IT WAS PERFECT!

We worked with Kathy for almost 2 years planning our wedding and she was wonderful to work with. She always responds back in a timely manner and is very accommodating. The day of our wedding we didn’t lift a finger. Kathy and the staff set up the ceremony space and reception space perfectly. Kathy also seemed to always be in the right place at the right time, whether it was offering to help bustle my dress or bringing us a plate of food during dinner so we were able to eat. The food was delicious and the venue was very accommodating of my food allergies. Our wedding went so smoothly and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The location is outstanding, the views were incredible, and the food was top notch. Most of all, the hosting staff exuded professionalism and handled our every request with ease. Kathy, our wedding planner, is an excellent communicator and kept us on track with our planning every step of the way. I live in California and my wife lives in Alaska, so it was extremely important to us that we worked with someone capable of managing the challenges of planning an event of such magnitude from afar. As for the big day itself; we couldn't have asked for anything more. Kathy and her staff took care of everything, allowing us the space to soak in the moment and enjoy our day. She left no stone unturned in the preparation, and her readiness was aptly manifested throughout the event. Five stars for sure.

asked for a better celebration or better staff. Kathy is incredible. At every step she is calm, helpful, and just so AMAZING. I was in Germany during most (we only met once in person when I first visited) of our conversations and corresponded through email and I still felt confident in all of the planning and prep. On the day of Kathy and her staff had everything under control and they made sure both my husband and I were well taken care of. She always made sure I had everything I needed and even kindly reminded me to eat when I was distracted by making sure everyone else was doing ok! She and her staff helped us have the perfect celebration and even helped when we (somewhat not soberly) organized last minute games to play! The champagne wall is super cute and Ben and Jerry's coming in for dessert was also a huge hit. Always trust Kathy's recommendatins too! To have everyone stay at the hotel is also a HUGE plus. The views are incredible and a big group of friends stayed at both the cottage and the house that Glenora rents out. The cottage was the porfect place to get ready (with that sun room) and the house was a perfect place for a small after party. Even when I screwed up some of the bookings with the rooms the staff was just so nice and helpful. Thank you Glenora and Kathy!

I don't know how we got so lucky to get an 80 degree day at the end of October but it seemed to be a clear sign that we chose the best location to have our day. The view of the lake just beyond the vineyards made for an amazing backdrop and with the firepit and clear sky with full moon made for the most magical night. You will not regret choosing this location and their staff to make your day the best imaginable!

r wedding day it started pouring rain 1h before the big celebration but Kathy was able to calm my nerves. Their team did an excellent job once the rain stop and we were able to hold our celebration with the perfect view of the vineyards. If you are looking to get married by Seneca Lake, I would highly recommend this place! Kathy and their team do all the planning and the day of you just need to be there and enjoy!

ts. If we were closer to the max of 150 it would have been crowded especially in the dining area. At the tasting the chef helped with menu planning and even offered different chicken recipes. The hors d’oeuvres we very good and plentiful. Staff were very efficient offering them to guests. They were not mob as soon as they came out of the kitchen. The cheese and fruit was set up in bar area and looked like there was an ample variety of cheeses. There were two bartenders and the bar is fairly large. Guests did not have to wait for drinks and I like that they charge by consumption. The bar was open the entire night and guests could get any drink they wanted. They have a real wood dance floor which is very important. Many venues now days have concrete which is very dangerous and can cause back injuries. The dining room with the fireplace and high beam ceiling is gorgeous. Dancing on the terrace was a ball. It was a cooler night and the sides were brought down and heat lamps were used. It was perfect. Lots of seats outside around the dance floor. The ceremony on the lawn was set up perfectly. We dropped off gift bags, table signs, place cards, candy apples, cupcakes signs, blankets the day before and were able to put them in the dining area. It was a worry free event. Dinners were served warm and efficiently. Having the hors D’oeuvres definitely helped tie people over to dinner. The steaks are all cooked medium rare. If guests want theirs well done or medium they have to send them back. That’s the system. It was great to have the rooms on site very convenient. When we booked over a year prior we did not know we would be limited to 15 rooms. Apparently they save 1/2 of the rooms for another event. So we still had to arrange for another block of rooms off site and provide transportation. Glenora was great to work with from the initial deposit until the last payment. The final bill was available at the desk the next morning and all the items(flowers etc) were together ready for pick up the next day. We had a lovely event and couldn’t be happier with our choice to have our daughter’s wedding there. Thank you to all the staff at Glenora.

This is absolutely perfect for weddings with a lot of out of town guests. The cottage that can be rented is also the most beautiful place to get ready as a bride, and is just next to the venue. Beyond how beautiful it is, the wine and food are amazing as well. We had so many amazing options to choose from on the menu (and they were very happy to help us with vegan options) and being able to pick specific wines was great as well. Kathy and her staff also took care of all the prep work on the day as well - we brought in our decorations and she did the rest. I could not recommend Glenora Wine Cellars more! It is the perfect place to get married.

It was such a great atmosphere to have the dance floor & DJ out on the terrace and dance the night away under the lights and overlooking the vineyard. Our guests raved about the views, the food, and the convienence of the Inns of Glenora for the guests that booked there. The cottage on site was also an amazing space for the bridal party to get ready in the morning. I would highly recommend this beautiful venue and you will be in great hands with Kathy and the other staff at Glenora who helped make our day/night perfect. :)

I would like to give a side shoutout though to James M., our first coordinator, whose kindness and warm heart made a huge impact on us and our decision to go with Glenora. But back to Courtney - WOW. She stepped up to the plate and got us through the finish line this year, all smooth sailing. Glenora truly has it all - the on-site inn, in-house restaurant (my goodness the food was raved about for weeks), the stunning backdrop, and so much more. We wanted the biggest party surrounded by those who know and love us best, and that's exactly what we got. We don't live too far away so expect us back for many more years of wine tastings and reminiscing. Thank you, all!

I was happy knowing our wedding was in her hands. Even tired and worried from a home issue the night before, she made everything perfect...and we are SO thankful. Glenora itself was a stunning location for our ceremony and reception and they were very kind to all of us and our guests. Ultimately, if you're looking for a place that feels like home and extended family everywhere, Glenora is the place to be. Hopefully the rotating door of the coordinator position stops - I know Covid probably had a lot to do with it and a severe influx of TONS of weddings in 2022.

All our guests were impressed with the beautiful views and complimented the food and the wine. A few small details were missed at our wedding-the late night food station selections, and a ceremony decoration was forgotten but it’s the big picture that Glenora nailed. The rooms were nice, the views are beautiful, and the food delicious. Our guests were so impressed and they made our day perfect! I can’t imagine better scenery for our formal photos. We can’t wait to return each year for our anniversary

But we did not expect the planning experience to be as stress-free as it was! Courtney and Kathy are amazing and they make sure every detail is planned for, exactly how you want it! They take all the stress away just by being so knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. Our wedding day was organized and perfectly executed. We were beyond impressed with all the communication, support, and help we received throughout the entire process. Our guests continue to tell us how perfect our day was and how absolutely stunning the venue was. The food was exceptional as well. We LOVE Glenora and cannot thank them enough. We will be back for plenty of wine tasting and anniversary weekends!

ew days touring venues back in 2020, Glenora was our final stop.  The insanely gorgeous view of Seneca Lake was the reprieve we needed from that crazy year.  We knew instantly that this was our place.  Courtney was our right-hand woman from day one.  She was warm and attentive throughout our planning process.  We met Kathy later on in planning, but she was just as kind and communicative, especially at our wedding rehearsal.  The staff at Glenora made our day so easy.  They set up our decor beautifully; ensured we had tastes of every appetizer and dessert; and boxed up everything for us to transport to our cars after our incredible wedding was over.  They even let our party utilize fire pits after our reception to continue the fun!  Every single person left our wedding feeling the love and enchantment.  This is the best place to commemorate your forever with your best friend!

Courtney and Damita were great, and made sure everything was thought of and done without anyone in the wedding party having to worry about a thing. Also, the food was amazing! Wedding food is sometimes meh, but Glenora did not disappoint. If you want a seamless, perfect wedding, just book with Glenora.

super easy. The wait staff and bartenders made us feel like family. Throughout our process with Glenora, we’ve had three wedding coordinators: James, Damita, & Kathy. Every single one of them was awesome to work with. The one constant, however, was Courtney. She sets the bar incredibly high as an assistant. She exceeded every expectation from answering emails, helping pick out signature cocktails, running through the rehearsal, and being incredible on our wedding day. The overall vibe of our day was unmatched. I would recommend Glenora to any couple looking for an amazing day! Our rehearsal dinner was also at Glenora & it was also a blast.

he whole venue was set up exactly as I had it in my head - from the ceremony site to the dining room and balcony. Courtney had everything taken care of perfectly. The venue is also so pretty on its own with an amazing view of the lake and a beautiful dining room. Every one of our guests loved it. The inn on site was also so convenient for so many of our guests. The food is also top notch. We had so many issues with covid as our original wedding date was June, 2020, and through it all, the whole staff at Glenora was so great at being flexible with moving dates and room reservations. They truly made it as stress free as it could possibly be. We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding, and would highly recommend Glenora to anyone looking for a vineyard wedding!

iginally planned our wedding for 2020 and had to reschedule not once, but twice due to ongoing Canadian border closure in 2021. Glenora was so accommodating and made both reschedules easy and stress free. During this time, the originally wedding coordinator we started with moved on from Glenora and his replacement also ended up leaving less than 2 months before the ceremony. Thankfully this was also made stress free when the planning was handed over to the assistant even coordinator, Courtney, who had been with Glenora for years. She put me at ease in the final days of planning and helped our event run perfectly smooth the day of. She had knowledge and experience with the venue that a new person just jointing the team could not have had and that was very comforting. I would have loved if she would have been able to take over right after the person we were originally working with left but I’m glad we were able to work with her in the end!
