We did a full venue buyout, buying out the event space upstairs, along with the restaurant downstairs, and the amount of compliments we received on the entire venue space was endless - it was a dream day and I’m so grateful. About the space- This is a working distillery with a restaurant on the main floor and an events space on the second floor. The main floor has a great outdoor seating area also. You can rent the event space separately but we chose to do a full venue buyout so that we could have use of the entire site for the wedding. The space is unique, beautiful, and very cool. The food was delicious- everything from the appetizers to the entrees and desserts. Our guests could not stop telling us how good the food was! They have a great selection of their own spirits and also made some signature cocktails for the event that were amazing. The servers and event staff were professional and very personable. If you're looking for a place to have a special event, or just looking for a great restaurant to go to, I highly recommend GlenPharmer Distillery.

The food is spectacular and they offer a wide range of menu options so that you aren't stuck with the boring and typical beef/chicken options (unless that's what you want). They have their own distilled alcohol (of course) which makes for some really cool and original cocktail creations. Their staff is professional and open-minded to what you are looking for and want to do, and can adapt as the day progresses (we took pictures very quickly and they were able to speed up our timeline so we had more time for dancing). They put you first and you are not just another couple to them; they remember what you are looking for and want. They also handled everything for us; they very tastefully set up and took down all of our decorations so that we did not have to worry about that. Plus, their location is convenient to both Boston and Providence (and has a lot of parking) for guests coming from further away. Many of our guests told us how the venue and food were a 5/5 and how it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to.

od and drinks were spectacular. Leading up to our wedding we mainly worked with the GM Jay and during that time GlenPharmer hired an Events Manager, Faye who assisted at the end. Email communication was great. We met with the chef twice, once for a tasting to decide the menu and the 2nd time to go over final details. The Chef & GlenPharmer were incredible about accommodating various dietary needs/allergies. We did use our own ‘day of coordinator’ to assist with the rehearsal and executing our timeline on the wedding day. All of our guests were very pleased with their meals and loved how unique the space was. The day before the wedding GlenPharmer was great about allowing us the time to set up the space how we wanted (we were DIY) and they were very accommodating when it came to making our vision come to life. The staff that they bring in for events did a great job setting/decorating the gorgeous harvest tables how we wanted for the wedding dinner and were very conscious about making sure all the guests got the passed appetizers we had. We had rain on the wedding day, so we did all of our pictures inside, which worked out, however outside would have been preferred – don’t sweat it if it rains, you will still get pictures! Overall, we had a great time and all of our guests did too. The food and drinks were great. We would recommend GlenPharmer to couples who are looking for a unique space, not your typical wedding venue with the white walls and tablecloths!

ow awesome the venue is. We did our ceremony there, and we were able to use whiskey barrels to frame us. The atmosphere needs so few decorations to feel perfect. When it comes to food, Chef Eric is the best of the best. We had many guests with dietary concerns, and Chef Eric took care of it all. The rest of the team follows suit. Pat, the owner was incredibly respectful and flexible when a family emergency lead us to decide to move up the wedding. He handled much of the planning process with us, but then hired Faye (Event Coordinator) and Jay (GM). They took over when it came to the walk through and week of events. The team as a whole were very responsive and took the time to listen to what we wanted on our perfect day. GlenPharmer was a great venue with awesome food, drink, people and atmosphere. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a unique wedding day!

e to accommodate and meet our vision and needs. We were about to settle with another option before we stumbled across the distillery and fell in love. After meeting the owners and seeing the space, we couldn’t have signed a contract any quicker than we did. The owners kept in communication consistently throughout the entire process and our questions were always answered very timely. Since this was just our reception and there weren’t as many moving parts, we really wanted to do the set up ourselves. We were provided access to the space the day before the event to do the set up AND the day after the event to do the breakdown. Before finding the distillery, that component had been a huge stress for me because I didn’t know who would set up the space and how our vision would come to life if we didn’t do it ourselves. Additionally, the night of the reception before we arrived, I had asked my brother to arrive early to light the candles and turn on the various twinkle lights. When he got there, it was already done. There wasn’t one detail that was not on their radar. And a huge perk is how stunning the space is on it’s own without anything additional. If you don’t want a lot of decorations/flowers/etc. then you absolutely do not need it here. Our guests have raved about the food and cocktails (especially the welcome/specialty cocktail they were greeted with). The owners were incredibly flexible with menu options, ideas, and making adjustments that worked best with our headcount.The serving staff was very attentive and thoughtful in making sure we sampled the appetizers and maintaining minimum wait time/lines at the busy bar. The entire evening was a dream. This experience gave us back something that I thought had been lost along the way because of our circumstances. We are eternally grateful with how it worked out and the new memories we now have from our reception.

Our guests made so many remarks about how amazing the venue was. So many fabulous spots too to get one-of-a-kind photos that have a wow factor. TOTALLY recommend considering GlenPharmer Distillery for your wedding!
