My wedding was not for another 10 months, but Lauren was super accommodating, professional, and friendly. Before my wedding, I changed the style/look that I wanted, and Lauren CRUSHED it day of! I had to put a lot of trust in her since we didn’t get a second trial and the first trial was 10 months earlier, but she did an amazing job of understanding what I wanted. My makeup lasted all day, night, and I even slept in it and it looked great in the morning lol. It lasted through MANY tears as well! My mom also loved her makeup. Livy listened to what all three of my bridesmaid’s wanted and pulled them off impeccably. Lauren and Livy traveled to our venue and made the getting ready process easy and fun. You really have to trust in reviews when planning a wedding from 270 miles away with no time to allow for trials, but you can absolutely trust in these reviews! I hardly ever wear makeup and I was super nervous about trying airbrush for the very first time on my actual wedding day, but Stephanie made me look and feel absolutely perfect. We had two makeup artists come to our rental house to do makeup on 12 women and the whole process went perfectly. actually took her make up off and redid it herself. My mother and mother in-law both redid their hair. The only reason I gave two stars is because no one said anything, except when my cousin had to ask the woman who did the makeup to blend it so there wasn’t a line. Not worth the exorbitant amount of money spent.

, we would like to clarify a few things.
There was one hair stylist and that is typical for 5-8 services. You had 5 hair styles (2 formal, 2 mothers, and 1 youth). One stylist can easily handle that amount.
There was one makeup artist for 2 makeup applications. With this being said, she was not late. She allowed the time for the 2 makeup applications.
Overall, both stylists finished you all early this day. No one was late.
As far as the hair styles that were redone... The hair stylist said she received multiple compliments and nobody said anything about not liking their hair to her. She said she asked a couple of times, if everyone was satisfied.
Lastly, we have a mini refrigerator full of complimentary champagne , waters, creamer, and more! We have "bubbly & coffee bar" written on our back splash to offer the space for making mimosas, coffee or tea.
We hope we have cleared up any concerns and again sorry you were disappointed. We do not receive reviews like this ever, so we are very sorry that you feel this way. Best of wishes to you and yours!

As a side note, I reached out to 4 different beauty vendors in OBX on the same day and Mollie was the very first to respond (the next day) and assist me. Of the others, 2 responded about a week later and the 4th didn't respond for almost a week and a half. My decision was made from the beginning and it was an excellent choice. Highly recommend Glimmer!

It held up beautifully when my sunny beach wedding turned into a monsoon. Mollie was great and very accessible for questions during the planning process and on the day of. We ended up adding a few people last-minute on the day-of and they easily accommodated us (good thing we started early!) One of the nicest things about Glimmer was that they were very creative and didn't require us to bring pictures. I've had my hair done before where the salon requires a photo, and I'm not a hair expert so I never know what to choose that will work for my hair (my hair isn't very long) so I appreciated Glimmer's creativity.
