If your child or person is graduating from the Marine corps. There is no other place to stay. This was the best hotel experience I've ever had in my life. These people appreciate the families of Marine Corps and will cater to your every need. Their morning breakfast is amazing. Their drivers will take you right to the gate and pick you up so you do not have to walk. They know the drill, they know the MPS at the gates, they will get you in and out without any hassle at all. They will give you extra perks and treat you as an appreciated member, even though my son was the one who was graduating from the Marine Corps they treated us as though we were the same. Never felt the power of customer service other than this hotel. The rooms were clean and exactly as expected. The showers were hot through five different showers and never lost heat. The hotel is next to the highway, however I never heard the highway traffic from my room, they have added extra insulation to the windows and we could never hear the traffic. I remember walking past the stairway exit and I could hear the traffic as loud as a concert , and that made me wonder why I could not hear the same sounds from my room, but we didn't. We heard zero sounds from traffic, that is how I noticed the extra insulation that the rooms provided with their windows. grounds are immaculate and very cool vibe. This hotel will not disappoint you, their staff is amazing, I say that again. Their staff is the most accommodating people I've ever met. The hotel stored all of our Marines multiple pieces of equipment while we were able to explore the San Diego area, the accommodate you in every way that they can. We walked down to the closest Mexican restaurant and had some pretty good Mexican food. We never had an inkling of harassment or any kind of feeling that this was a bad neighborhood. Again, if you are coming for a marine graduation, do not look to another place. This is the one. Thank you so much for your service and your hospitality. It was beyond anything I've ever seen at any hotel. I do not understand or believe the negative reviews.
