One of the best decisions I made in my wedding planning process was booking an appointment at Glo while I was in the Boston area visiting family! The shop is adorable and I loved t...
he one-on-one attention I got with the owner, Molly, while trying on their beautiful, sustainable, and COMFORTABLE dresses (seriously, I had assumed all wedding dresses would be a little itchy & scratchy, but that is not the case at Glo!). I ended up choosing a Connecticut-made Andria Bird dress and was able to customize the bodice, dress, and fabric exactly to my liking, which was amazing. Molly even texted the designer while I was in the store to make sure she could adjust the back how I wanted! The final dress was absolutely perfect and I was so happy to support local, women-owned, ethical businesses in the process. <3 10/10 recommend checking out Glo!
I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Glo! The shop is intimate, gorgeous, and thoughtfully designed. Molly is the BEST and made the whole experience feel comfortable and eas...
y. I’m so happy I bought my wedding dress at Glo and can’t recommend it highly enough.
I purchased my wedding dress from Molly at Glo Bridal and was really blown away by the overall experience.
Molly is so warm and inviting and really makes you feel so comfortable ...
trying on dresses. She pulled some dress ahead of time that she thought I would like and then during the visit pulled other things as well. She is really knowledgeable on all of the designers she carries and really does a great job telling their stories. Molly helped me find the perfect dress and was even able to communicate directly with the designer on some questions I had about the dress and sizing. After my first visit, I fell in love with a dress but wanted to think about it. I came back in with a friend and my sister a few days later and made my final decision.
On both visits and via email Molly was really helpful answering questions outside of her scope like suggestions on shapewear, shoes, and even where my sister should look for her dress. The pickup process was super smooth and easy and she gave so many suggestions on where to get the dress altered as well as where to get it cleaned after the wedding. Overall I’m really blown away by the process and would recommend my close friends and family to Glo!

ally giving me a sense of the options- she pulled a really good range of different fabrics and sleeves to try for a first appointment in addition to dresses that were exactly what I had asked for. Super attentive and quick to add the little touches that help visualize like placeholder straps and veils. Lovely, low pressure, and Molly always got exactly what I was looking for. We saw some really beautiful dresses! I haven't purchased a dress yet but would 100% recommend this shop.

table and I really appreciate that it's private (Molly only takes one appointment at a time)! I was a little worried that with my preferred budget (under $2000), my options would be very limited (wedding dresses are so expensive!!), but Molly had an AMAZING selection of Glo's brands and samples/consignment dresses that were at (or at least very near) this budget and they were all fantastic!! I have never felt more beautiful and elegant in a dress and there were several selections at Glo that were just stunning. It is going to be a very hard choice to decide which to pick!

dress styles (which was a huge win as someone who does not love the dressing room!). The first dress she pulled for me is what I ended up buying - she had clearly reviewed my pre-visit form as the dress was very much within my budget and almost perfectly matched my style preferences. Overall, I had a great experience and have also ordered additional embellishments (per Molly's suggestions) and my veil!
Molly was SO responsive, helpful, and kind both during and even before my appointment! She answered many questions over email and even got in two samples that she doesn't normally ...
carry from a designer I was excited about so that I had a chance to try them on during my appointment. Her shop is comfortable and gorgeous with a great selection of dresses. As I was trying on, she had wonderful input about fabrics, silhouettes and possible modifications, and shared them in a way that was incredibly helpful without being overwhelming. Definitely check out Glo!

ey have a selection of consignment and sustainable designers. Not only did Molly pull dresses that reflected what I had in mind, but pulled a dress that was the complete opposite, just in case! I LOVED the dress I ended up with, and know I wouldn’t have been able to get it anywhere other than Glo! Thank you Molly!

got a sample to the store that I was eyeing online. I felt really comfortable the entire time. She actually ended up putting me in a dress that I would not have picked out myself, and it ended up being my favorite. I love how she focuses on sustainable, small brands. You are guaranteed to find a one-of-a-kind dress here and you're support small business. A win win!

credibly accommodating, kind, and helpful. Her shop is very sweet and has a comfortable atmosphere. Throughout the process Molly had helpful advice but was never pushy or pressuring. She worked hard to figure out (or narrow down) what my style & preferences were, though some trial and error while I tried on my first few dresses, and then from there was able to hone in more closely on some solid candidates.
I will be going with one of the dresses from GLO for my wedding, which is amazing since it was the first & only shop where I tried any on! Thank you again Molly for making the process so painful (and fun!).

d memorable. The shop is relaxing and makes you feel your best with natural light (something I didn’t fully appreciate until we had a few bad experiences at big box stores after leaving Glo). I purchased a consignment dress that is very different than what I would have picked out for myself but Molly’s guidance and kind demeanor led me to what ended up being the perfect dress for me and I am SO excited to wear it!
I had the best experience at Glo! Molly was so wonderful to work with. She owns the place and runs everything and I was so impressed with her store! I didn't feel rushed and I felt...
like my time was valued. I had previously gone to two other dress stores that were chains and much busier and less personable. I felt rushed at those places, and while they had a huge selection, none of the dresses felt unique. Glo has so many unique pieces. Even the designer ones felt like one-of-a-kind pieces that you wouldn't be able to find at any other store. My dress is not what I expected to get, but I'm so thankful that Molly set it aside for me to try on. It has that "wow" factor and I feel so special in it. The best part is my fiancée and I BOTH got our dresses from Glo! We highly recommend it! :)

al idea of what I was looking for, but Molly pulled a variety of dresses to help me narrow my focus. I didn't end up buying a dress yet, but can't recommend Glo enough. Their mix of pre-owned and custom dresses is great, and my friends and family had a blast hanging while I tried on. Definitely worth checking out!

fresh air! Her designers are all incredibly unique and I ended up loving a dress I never would have picked out myself. Molly was kind, knowledgable, and flexible and also just really funny and pleasant. I also really appreciated how covid-safe the whole experience felt. ng your vision as a bride, your likes and dislikes, and provides PLENTY of amazing dresses that work for your budget and vibe. It was a VERY low pressure experience, and as we still navigate a covid world, I felt very safe based on the precautions she's taking for those who enter the shop.
I also just wanted to add that it's such a relief to know that you can either walk away that day with your dream dress off the rack or if you choose one of the made to order designers, that it's going to be made in the USA and in your hands within 5 months. I know a lot of the wedding industry is struggling right now with production, so going this route was a no-brainer. I am so thankful that a sustainable bridal shop exists in the Boston area. Glo is AMAZING!!

ds on touch with a thoughtful stylist to be exactly what I needed to make one of the most exciting decisions of my life. Molly at Glo heard all of my ideas and curated an incredible selection to try on. Her sense was spot on and she answered all my questions making me so excited to say YES! to a gorgeous made-to-order gown. I was able to bring my sister and grandmother, even FaceTime my Mom who couldn’t be there. We were comfortable and given all the time we needed to soak in the experience. Working with the Glo team will stand out as one of my favorite memories in planning a dream wedding. Thank you thank you thank you!
This is a place that just GETS IT! So much of the wedding industry feels outdated or wasteful and everything about Glo felt so refreshing. Modern, sustainably-made selection, warm ...
and helpful owner – exactly what I wanted for a wedding shopping experience.
I went into my accessories appointment without a clue of what I was looking for, and Molly, the owner, guided me through some styling ideas and was so patient with me as I wrestled with the tough choices. It was so nice to have the store to myself, and to be able to try things on with my dress – an option I didn't have browsing other accessories online.
My only complaint is that Glo wasn't open in 2019 when I was shopping for my wedding dress! So happy I was able to shop for part of my look at such a thoughtful shop.
