Gloria has shot weddings at the venue I manage, The Union on Eighth, many times and it is always such a joy when I see another one of our clients has hired her! Her photography style compliments our industrial wedding venue SO well! She is very talented and is so personable too. You will feel like you have another friend standing by your side as she captures your special day!

Gloria is AMAZING. She's so personable and down to earth. When we first met for engagement photos she made us feel completely at ease. We were nervous about "modeling", especially since we had some on lookers. But she was able to teach us how to "pose" by simply giving us light instructions and letting us be organically ourselves. The photoshoot was SO FUN and felt very natural, almost like a close friend was taking our photos. And after we got the photos back, we were so SHOCKED. Somehow, she was able to make a beautiful sunrise morning, and our just-woken-up-faces, look STUNNING. I'm sure the photos were great to begin with, but I think so much of her talent has to be the way she edits and frames the photos to look so natural. They're beautiful and works of art. Fast forward to the wedding. Gloria was able to wrangle our loud & large wedding party and family with grace & ease. She never lost her calm, and again, it felt like a friend was just hanging out and capturing the day. When we got the photos back, we were again SHOOK. Somehow, even though we had prepared ourselves, the photos were even better than we had imagined. She managed to capture every important moment, detail, and emotion of the day. Friends have told me they've never seen more gorgeous photos, and not that I'm biased, but I 110% agree. Gloria is so, so, talented -- and above that, such a kind, professional, and fun person -- book her NOW. Seriously.

It's hard to write a review that isn't incredibly biased, but I'll give it a try anyway. Gloria is the absolute best at what she does. She makes you feel absolutely at ease in front of the camera. She's so much fun to be around. She makes the wedding day go by seamlessly. She truly goes above and beyond what is expected of a photographer. She's an artist behind the camera, and what comes out is absolute beauty. Gloria's taken pictures of all my life events thus far, and I hope that she will continue to take them into the future.

Got our photos back today and I am in awe of the way Gloria perfectly captured the simple magic of our wedding day. She was the very first photographer I found the morning after getting engaged, and from that day, I just knew she had to be the one. The photos are better than I could’ve imagined. I didn’t have a huge photo list or a ton of direction - Gloria just did her thing and it is perfection. She doesn’t just take photos, she captures moments, and when you look at them, you’re transported back to that feeling. Scrolling through our photo gallery is like reliving the day all over again, and I can’t thank Gloria enough for that - it’s true the day goes by so fast, but now ours is frozen in time. She’s professional, charming, and so incredibly talented. My husband and I, my parents, the wedding party, and all who came in contact with her sang her praises. I truly can not recommend her enough to capture any special moment you want to relive forever.

Gloria saved me from a tight situation, and she really helped me out when I didn't know if my engagement photos were going to happen on time. She swooped in and definitely saved the day. O U T S T A N D I N G !! My photos were so incredible - I'm a very detail-oriented and nostalgic person and she captured every last meaningful second. The photos are all perfectly composed and colored and very tailored to the "mood" of our event. We were just throwing a reception for friends and family so there was no ceremony to shoot, but she nailed all the important moments with no need for us to hang around and tell her what to photograph. She's also super fun, approachable, and timely - can't recommend enough! :)

Where do I even start? I first met Gloria when she photographed my brother’s wedding in May of 2017, and from that day on, I knew I would be hiring her to be my wedding photographer whenever that day came. Days after I got engaged, I asked for her schedule for the upcoming year because I wanted to make sure I didn’t book my wedding on a day that she was already booked. She is THAT good. I knew I had to have her photograph my wedding and didn’t even consider anyone else. Not only is she a phenomenal photographer, but she is just so much fun to be around. My husband isn’t super comfortable in front of a camera and Gloria did such a great job at making him feel comfortable during our engagement photos, and because of that, by the time our actual wedding rolled around, he was much more natural in front of the camera and knew what to expect. Gloria is so much more than just another wedding vendor. She truly becomes one of your friends and is a great source of support and encouragement during the wedding planning process. We have only gotten a preview back of our photos, but I was in tears just looking at those!! They are SO perfect and captured the emotions and beauty of our day so perfectly. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives!! I could honestly go on and on about how much we adore Gloria. She is so dang talented and every photo she takes is pure gold. I can’t wait until I have an excuse to hire her again!

Gloria was the first and only photographer my husband and I met with while planning our wedding - and that is because she is the BEST! FOR REAL. From our initial meeting with her, she was so kind and helpful, and made us feel so at ease. I reached out to Gloria in a panic after a friend that was supposed to be photographing our wedding had to back out... and it was the best thing that happened to my wedding. She’s funny, kind, professional, basically a balm for the stressed bride’s soul. She was excellent with my family and friends and you could tell that our wants were her priority. On top of everything our pictures were actual perfection. I could not have been happier with how they turned out. WE LOVE GLORIA! Not only is she a rad human, she's also a wildly talented photographer. We wanted less posed, more artistic and candidly captured photos for our wedding. She definitely got the family shots and portraits that are necessary for weddings, but she also captured the romantic feeling and unique moments of love and joy from the day. I found Gloria on Instragram and immediately fell in love with her style of shooting and editing. She captures raw emotion, and when we got our gallery back from the wedding day, I couldn't stop laughing and crying and "aww"-ing as I went through them. She created the most stunning, emotional, and special photos for us to remember our wedding. She also treated us like dear friends and helped us feel natural in front of the camera (which has got to be hard). I cannot recommend her enough.

I fell in love with Gloria’s photography before my husband and I were even engaged. When we decided on a destination wedding in San Francisco, I got in touch with Gloria for an engagement shoot, but I didn’t even consider the fact that she would be willing to travel to shoot our wedding. She traveled across the country with us for our big day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! She is endlessly professional, her photos are beautiful, and she is SO much fun to hang out with and such a sweetheart. GLORIA!! I am so happy I picked Gloria to do my wedding photos. First she flew all the way from Austin to San Diego, second she made everything SO comfortable. My engagement pictures with another photographer came out beautiful but felt so awkward so I was a little nervous for our wedding pictures. Gloria made everything so comfortable and FUN, and you can tell in our pictures. Jeff also loved Gloria and has spoken about how cool and comfortable she made our day feel. Would recommend her a million times:)

5 stars aren’t enough- Gloria is THE BEST. I would recommend her in a heartbeat: 1) because you will have incredible, vibrant, photos full of life and 2) because you get to hang out with her. Gloria is just so dang cool you definitely want her at your wedding no matter what. She’s patient, and calm, and caring, and really great at her job. She captured our wedding day perfectly. Despite me being completely unfocused and not following directions, she managed me, and all 18 of our wedding party so sweetly and beautifully. I really don’t know how she did it. I know I made it a lighting nightmare by having a ceremony with the sun right behind us, but Gloria is magic and those photos are gorgeous. We took family photos down a set of stairs, a walk that was too far for my grandmother. It would have been a good wait for grandma to find a way down to us -so I asked to finish with the rest of the group photos and find grandma later. Of course, I completely forgot- but Gloria didn’t, and made sure I got a photo with her before the night was over. She captured details of the day that I never even saw; and somehow, she captured the joy that I felt that day. Best ever.

Glo. I started referring to Gloria as Glo about halfway between our engagement photos and wedding day. Between talking with her about Parks & Rec, to watching her Snapchat/Instagram stories starring her dog Tex, to sharing a weird love for Elizabeth Olsen's effortless cool girl vibe, I became so comfortable with this new friend that I started using a nickname that I'm sure only family and close friends use. But I couldn't help it, because that's how she makes you feel. First, you want her to think you're cool, and then you realize she's actually pretty weird and will definitely not have a problem taking engagement pictures of you at a Chili's. But then of course she finds an amazing wall of mountain laurel and berries by the Chili's and not only gives you the weirdo pictures you requested, but also stunning, bright, moody photos by a cool wall. She can do it ALL. She is calm and reassuring, but firm and decisive. She is fun and quirky, but quiet and reserved in the right moments. She has an incredible feel for personalities and dynamics - an incredible eye for a unique picture, envisioning a tone that she'll achieve with her edits. We will forever cherish memories of our wedding and how it was captured by Glo. We couldn't imagine it without her. Y'all. Spend your dang money on this phenomenal photographer/woman/friend!

Gloria Goode exceeded all expectations I ever had about wedding photography! I found her on Instagram and instantly became obsessed with her work. I talked to her for months before signing a contract & she was so kind and patient with me, always answering any questions I had promptly. She planned a brunch for us to get to know each other before the big day and I immediately felt like she was one of my bff's. She was organized & creative on our wedding day - making sure we got all of the family portraits we wanted & lots of awesome candid shots. Gloria is amazing and I hope to work with her more in the future :) 10/10 would recommend!!!

Where do I even start?! Gloria traveled all the way up to the great white north with us and hung tight through a few mental breakdowns and windy rainy weather. She truly was one of the best things about our wedding. Our semi-elopement changed plans about 37 times before our big day and Gloria not only gave us pictures to last a lifetime, but she handled it all with ease and was the leader of getting everyone on the same page. Couldn’t have done it without her. This girl is second to none y’all.

Holy Guacamole! Gloria and her WHOLE team were by far more than a blessing to have at our wedding. It never felt like we were being photographed or "staged" and she was there to capture all the small details of our wedding. Words cannot describe how amazing Gloria is! She photographed my first wedding super last minute because my mom was sick and we decided to have a backyard ceremony to say our vows in front of her and she was absolutely wonderful! To capture such an intimate and emotional day takes a lot of confidence, skill and overall compassion! The photos made my 72 hour planned backyard wedding look like a chic garden whimsical wedding! I will cherish those photos forever! She also shot my engagement photos, bridals, boudoir and ‘second wedding’! She captured everything I could have wanted! She made me feel beautiful and comfortable in all situations and knew exactly what shots to get and when! Gloria was extremely prompt on timing and super reliable! Gloria was more than I could have ever asked for in a wedding photographer. Her photos are so unique and gorgeous. I get so many compliments on our photos! She was also so accommodating and fun to work with. I met with her a few times before the wedding and even in those times I felt so comfortable with her and just wanted to be good friends with her! Gloria made our engagement and wedding photos so easy! We really liked her laid back style and how fun and candid her photos turned out. I can't say enough good things about how smooth everything went on our wedding day and how she was able to so easily reign in our crazy wedding party to get some great pictures! We love the tone and mood of our photos and just couldn't get enough, she seemed to capture every perfect candid moment. We were worried about having cheesy, typical wedding photos and Gloria does a great job of making sure the photos fit the personalities of the bride and groom and that they feel like their own!! I have referred her to several others and one of my friend's sisters will have her wedding photographed by Gloria because she loved the way our photos turned out, my brother plans on trying to get her to photograph his future wedding too!

From the moment I saw Gloria's work, I knew I wanted her to photograph my wedding-- I mean, her photography is absolutely incredible! My husband and I had multiple wedding events packed into one weekend, and she captured the spirit of each one flawlessly. Most importantly, she made my husband and I feel comfortable and calm in front of a camera (we are really awkward people, so that is difficult to do). I would definitely recommend hiring her!

Gloria and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Besides the quality of her work, the biggest thing that stood out to me was her calm demeanor. Weddings bring a lot of joy, but they can also bring a lot of stress. The last thing you need is an overzealous photographer barking out orders or adding drama. Gloria brought a sense of calm to the whole day . As a guy, I had a picture of a wedding photographer in my head, and it was not a good one. Gloria was the exact opposite of what I (incorrectly) expected. She is extremely professional, and came well prepared while also being really fun to work with. We also had Gloria take engagement photos, which turned out amazing and now adorn many walls in our home. Many people have commented on the quality and attention to detail. My wife and I appreciated the direction Gloria gave during both the engagement session and the wedding. Overall, you can tell Gloria is dedicated to her craft and her customers from the onset. I would refer anyone to her in a heartbeat!

I seriously can't say enough about Gloria and what an awesome photographer she is; not only is she amazingly talented, she's also a complete doll and so much fun to work with! She did our engagement shoot, as well as our wedding photography, and made it really fun and easy--even when I was super nervous and acting like a total weirdo, she made me feel comfortable and at ease so my husband and I could focus on each other, and not the camera in front of us. Her creative use of lighting, plus her awesome editing skills and use of color saturation made our photos turn out absolutely stunning, and we are so SO happy with the way the photos (both sets!) turned out. Two things I particularly loved about Gloria: the way she and her associate, Betsey, were dancing with us with camera in hand (although it didn't seem as though they were taking photos of us, which made for some awesome candid shots!) and the last of the "staged" photos was taken of my husband and I with Gloria! It's such a cute photo of the 3 of us, and I'm so glad we have documentation of our sweet and fun little photographer! Gloria truly made our special day the most special--we HIGHLY recommend using her as your photographer for weddings, engagement shoots, and beyond--also, she LOVES to travel, so if you're doing the destination thing--she's definitely your gal!

I can't say enough good things about working with Gloria as our wedding photographer. For our engagement shoot, she helped me out a lot with posing. We quickly found out I am not the natural model of the relationship, my husband is lol. She was great with helping me pose to look natural and made the shoot very comfortable for us. The day of my bridal portraits we had to deal with on-and-off rain spurts. She knew how to take the photos quickly and efficiently during the short moments it wasn't raining. I didn't think anything could get better than our engagement photos and all the compliments we got on them. Then we got our wedding photos. OH MY GOSH. So many people asked me who took them because they were so impressed with the quality and how beautiful they turned out to be. We had to deal with weather issues the day of the wedding as well but Gloria helped make these photos happen and I couldn't be happier 🙂 To summarize: Use her as your photographer. She is genuine, hardworking, and amazing at her job. A true pleasure to work with and you won't be disappointed! 🙂

I cannot say better things about Gloria. As a photographer, she has made my dreams come true. Exceeded them, even! My pictures look straight out of a movie & she really captured everyone's essence & all of the love. Gloria is simply the best! She flew out to Oregon alllll the way from Texas for my husband and I's small wedding getaway on the Oregon coast and every second of everyday we were so grateful to have her there! Not only for playing the role of professional, artistic and beyond creative wedding photographer, but also for filling in for every needed role! She helped mix drinks, arrange furniture, calm nerves and everything inbetween! We lovingly titled Gloria as our wedding MVP before we even got to where her talents shined the most, photography! She seamlessly got all of the shots I never even knew I wanted or needed! I love Gloria, because while sometimes wedding vendors have to battle for their role of importance on the wedding day and can bring a decent amount of ego into the day, with Gloria there was none, just pure professionalism and fun! She made sure we got the shots that were important to us, but used her experience to give us a collection of amazing unique wedding photo memories! It seems like Gloria's style of photography was perfect for out outdoor the Oregon coastal forest setting. She really did an excellent job capturing the vast green depth of the forest and the golden grasses and sands of the beach into each shot, which was so important to us since our ceremony location was such a special for us. It's wonderful to be able to have this so well represented in the photos every time we want to remember our day.
