I would like to personally provide my recommendation to anyone looking to have an wedding or event - that you call JoAnn Goin at Glory House Catering. They provide you with a sit-down tasting in their dining hall (located in Irving, TX) prior to you deciding what to order. They fed us SO MUCH FOOD, and it was definitely a great way to pin down exactly what you wanted without having to play any guessing games. They also assisted in planning and running a full open bar for our guests, for which we provided the alcohol. This is a much more cost effective option! They bring everything needed to set up and run bar. The passed cocktail apps were a God send to the wedding party, who was famished after a whole day of running around/getting ready/prepping for the ceremony/standing thru the ceremony. They were a delicious option of crab stuffed mushrooms and goat cheese tarlettes. Our dinner entree choices were a hit - we chose BBQ Cranberry Roasted Chicken and Brisket Au Jus, both were delicious, and for a very reasonable price per plate, our guests got both meats with sides and bread. I want to make a special note about JoAnn herself, who runs the catering and wedding services with her incredible staff. JoAnn was with us since Day One of our wedding planning, since the catering was one of the first portions of the event planning that we put a deposit on. She not only helped with any and all requests related to the catering/bar, but she also went above and beyond to assist me as the Bride in creating a vision for how the whole event would flow. Her staff had catered other weddings at the venue we selected, so she had expert knowledge of how things would unfold Day-Of. She also saw my husband and I struggle through both being laid off over the course of our year-long wedding planning, and handled us with such personalized professionalism throughout a time where we would normally have been ready to throw in the towel on the whole thing. She is indeed dedicated to her craft and to the happiness of her clients. Her ability to remind me to stay on task, as well as guide me through what I could expect as far as timelines was so helpful for me personally. We did not hire a Day-0f coordinator, but between JoAnn and myself and some help from family and friends, our wedding day turned out better than we could have ever imagined! We were waited on like royalty during the reception, and hear nothing but good feedback from our guests about the food and service. I give a 5-Star rating to Glory House Catering - especially if you are wanting to stick to a budget or if you are having an "a la carte" style event where you can bring in your own vendors. This kept us well within our budget for a 100+ guest event.

I used Glory House to cater my July 12 wedding reception at The Filter Building at White Rock Lake and could not have asked for anything better! Jo Ann is an absolute delight! From the first time I met her, I knew I was in good hands. She made excellent recommendations, was very proactive during the planning process and always offered prompt replies to any requests or questions. During my reception, she took on the role of a coordinator and ensured that everything ran smoothly. On top of all that, the food was DELICIOUS! I had several guests tell me it was the best wedding food they've tasted. I would highly recommend Glory House Catering & Bistro for any event!
