We unfortunately did not have the best experience with GLOW. The biggest issues were that they never provided the wedding party with the schedule that we spent many hours working ...
with them on (one of the main deliverables), and then did very little to manage us, the wedding party, or the photographer on the actual day, creating several stressful scheduling snafus at the reception.
A close friend was coordinating the ceremony part per our church’s requirement, which was on time and went very smoothly (we even finished the church pictures early). So it was a bit confusing why there were so many issues at the reception when GLOW did not have the added job of managing the ceremony.
There were also some staffing surprises, as the only employee who attended our rehearsal was someone we had never met or interacted with, and we were not told about this until the day before the rehearsal. And one of the other employees, with whom we had worked consistently, was not at the wedding, and we were not told about this at all. This undoubtedly contributed to some of the coordinating/schedule issues on the day-of.
We also felt like GLOW staff were sometimes condescending toward us leading up to the wedding, but overlooked it, thinking that might just go with the territory re people who are really good at hyperfocusing on details and schedules. This included being dismissive of the more detailed schedule/script we prepared at the request of our ceremony coordinator.
We wrote GLOW a few months ago, explaining our concerns and that we didn't want to just write a bad review, but never heard anything back other than the initial acknowledgment of our email.
We were prepared to offer at least a qualified recommendation based on how GLOW responded and/or explained what happened with us, but at this point we do not feel we can recommend them at all, especially if you are working with vendors who are new to your venue. In our case, most of our other vendors were familiar with our venue (DAR), and all of them were excellent, which made a big difference!

dding including creating itineraries and doing vendor reach out for last minute details. They knew a lot of our other vendors personally which is a testament to their work and network. The day of the wedding went perfectly - we were actually ahead of schedule which we loved because that meant more time for dancing! I think my wife and I were the most relaxed people at the wedding and that was in large part because of how capable and professional Kristi and Missy are. Highly recommend!

services than I bargained for. Since our initial contact, Kristi has been responsive, thorough, and communicative. Our actual coordination kicked off about 6 weeks before my wedding day, and she and Melissa worked with me to ensure every single detail was accounted for and all potential problems were mitigated in advance. I know her team worked so hard to organize the day, and she even caught some issues missed by my other vendors. Her attention to detail and knowledge is truly unmatched! Even more helpful, Glow offered additional services like paper printing and miscellaneous item rentals (ie, car box) so I did not need to find additional sources for these needs. Regardless of what package you choose with Glow, your expectations will be exceeded by the high quality of support you receive!

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, they walked us through a questionnaire that ensured nothing would fall through the cracks, and, from it, they created personalized checklists to guide us through the home stretch of tasks and itineraries for our wedding party and vendors. By wedding day, we were so confident that Kristi and Missy had everything under control that we were able to truly relax and enjoy the little moments. e hired them as our day-of coordinator, but their support extended well beyond wedding day. The coordination process kicked off 8 weeks prior to our big day. GLOW sent a comprehensive planning questionnaire that was designed to make the process go smoothly, and Kristi and Missy met with us for a planning session after our walk through. They are excellent at managing time and delivered detailed itineraries down to the minute not only the wedding party but also for other key vendors such as the DJ, videographer/photographer, and caterer. Their attention to detail is commendable, and we could not have transformed our dream into a reality without their expert advice and professional touch. They responded to our inquires in a timely manner and handled any hiccups calmly and quickly. It was a pleasure working with them!

From the early planning stages, Kristi had great vendor recs, suggestions for Woodend, and clearly tons of experience. When we got to the month before the wedding and into the weeds of planning, Kristi and Missy walked us through every single detail we’d need to consider, including ones we’d never have thought of on our own! On the day of, they worked seamlessly with our other vendors, and were super flexible when Maryland weather was being its usual unpredictable self.
The pacing was perfect and we never felt rushed- all we needed to do was have a blast and trust GLOW to work their magic! One example- In the schedule we’d set out pre-wedding, my parents were scheduled to give a speech at 7:42- and at EXACTLY 7:42 they got up to the mic- without any of us having to look at the time! Just how good Kristi and Missy were at keeping every step moving comfortably and smoothly. We did a lot of our own decor, and GLOW set everything up perfectly, and were able to help load leftover alcohol, decor, and florals into cars so that we could reuse everything for the following-day brunch, which was a huge help. Can’t thank GLOW enough for helping us have such an amazing wedding day!

nning weddings at our specific venue, Woodend Sanctuary & Mansion. She is very organized and detailed oriented and did a wonderful job walking us through all the steps of the wedding planning process. She was easy to talk too and kept us on track throughout the whole year, up through our wedding, by putting together monthly to-do lists for both us and her. She also provided us with a host of recommendations for everything from catering services, to DJs/bands, to options for all the different parts of the wedding ceremony and reception, which really made the planning process much easier for us since we didn’t have to do a ton of research. You can customize the amount of support you’d like her to provide, but from our point of view, she can do it all! She was particularly effective in the last month through our wedding day, by organizing and keeping tabs on all our vendors and the venue staff. Kristi also has an assistant, Missy, who helps her the day of the event, as well as with the wedding rehearsal. Together, the two of them made everything run extremely smoothly through our entire event. They were both very attentive, helpful, and organized through our entire wedding day, and we are so thankful for all their help and support in organizing and orchestrating our wedding! These were incredibly thorough forms that guided us to think about our wedding from start to finish, with every tiny detail, allowing us to figure out ahead of time where there were holes in our planning. When we met with Kristi and Missy to review, they were incredibly helpful at answering lingering questions, aligning their answers with what would be best for us, not necessarily their opinions. Kristi joined us for every final vendor call, asking all of the right questions leading up to our wedding. When I booked her for a six-week-out package and then decided that I needed more support earlier on, she created a custom package for me (that was incredibly reasonable) to give me exactly what I needed. She's also scrupulously honest: I only wanted part of her "alcohol add-on" package, so she charged me only for what I used. My wedding was a little complicated--a Jewish/Hindu hybrid ceremony that I made up myself with a friend officiating; a baraat at a venue that had never done one before--but Kristi had every detail in hand. I'm sure she's great at other venues too, of course, but I will also add that she knows Woodend in particular like the back of her hand, knowledgeable rattling off statistics about the capacity of each space while we planned for rainy-day contingencies. From day one, she was making recommendations on aspects of a wedding and vendor relationships we never could've even thought of ... but they made our day run so smoothly. The day of, Kristi and her team completely turned around our venue and made it look gorgeous ... and they did it in about an hour (the venue has pretty unique time limits). ding in my parents backyard, so it was a big job. Kristi did an amazing job staying on top of the details and helping make sure we thought through all of the necessary details. She also did a walk through and helped with blueprinting of the site. Kristi went the extra mile during our rehearsal and the day of our wedding to make sure things went smoothly. Unfortunately, Kristi was coordinating a different wedding the day of our wedding, and thus she had another coordinator there for the day of. We felt because this coordinator was not as involved in the various discussions predating the wedding and our wedding was so nontraditional, she was not very prepared to coordinate the day of. However, I think Kristi herself would have knocked it out of the park and that the secondary coordinator would have been perfect for a more traditional event. That being said, GLOWs role at our wedding was essential and we really appreciate all of the help they provided!

Coordinators, I'm so happy we went with Glow Weddings! There were many transitions on our wedding day from hotel block, to church, to venue and a very large number of other vendors to manage. Glow Weddings was on top of everything with the itineraries that they helped us create and checking in with all the different groups to make sure everyone was on time. I also had a large amount of personal items and decorations and they expertly arranged them throughout our wedding venue for us. So happy we booked with them and would highly recommend!!

(We were doing a lot of things ourselves, and needed someone to put up and take down decorations, as well as coordinate between vendors, provide a little timeline consultation, and help with the general flow of things on the actual day.) Our caterer recommend Kristi, I got in touch, and thankfully she not only had the day open, but was willing to take on a quasi-last-minute job. From there, I swear I felt a physical weight lifted from my shoulders. She was unbelievably thorough in the (expedited) planning phase, and made the day go smoother than I could have hoped for. Her support during our walk-through with the caterer was in-valuable, as was her help herding cats at our rehearsal (which would have been a complete disaster if she hadn't been there). I can only assume she did her job well the day of as I didn't see or hear anything amiss, nor was approached for any logistical issues - it was so nice just to be able to relax and have fun knowing everything was in her capable hands! I had to convince my husband in the beginning to hire a coordinator, and he has since recounted multiple times what a great decision it was. My favorite thing to say the day of the wedding when someone asked me a logistical question was "I don't know, ask Kristi." We cut costs in a lot of areas, but I am glad we didn't do that here. After all, being able to enjoy yourself on the day of is priceless!

After reading reviews of Glow and seeing pictures of their weddings, I knew they were right for my event. I worked with Sonum, and she is fantastic--so responsive and organized. I got the day of coordination package, but it feels like you get more because they meet with you beforehand to make sure you've thought of all of the details (many of which you don't know about because you're not the expert). I was able to fully enjoy my day, knowing that Sonum had everything under control and would troubleshoot any problems that arose. When I walked into my reception, she had done such a beautiful job with setting up the decorations, and it looked exactly as I'd envisioned. I highly recommend Glow!
