We are from Indiana. However, my Daughter, my one and only child, decided to get married in New Orleans. Back in January, 2015, my Daughter selected Sunday, September 6, 2015 as her Wedding day. As the Mother-of-the-Bride, my goal was to give my Daughter and my future Son-in-Law the Wedding of their dream, and I knew candles and lighting would be essential in carrying out that goal. I received the name of Glowing Occasions (and other candle/lighting vendors) from our Venue's approved Vendor list. I contacted Ginger, the owner of Glowing Occasions, via email. Ginger responded promptly with the most uplifting and positive email. After receiving Ginger's email, I knew she was the right Vendor for us. I worked with Ginger for approximately eight months, making sure we created the perfect 'magical' look for the Wedding. Because I am a perfectionist by nature, in addition to my Daughter being my only child, I contacted Ginger often, and I asked many questions and made several changes. (Sorry, Ginger :)). Through it all, Ginger was very patient, continued sending uplifting and reassuring emails, and was a delight to work with. As she promised, Ginger created the most beautiful and 'magical' candle and lighting display for both the Ceremony and the Reception. (My Daughter and I cried when we walked into the Ceremony and Reception Venues and saw the beauty of Ginger's work. And, our Guests were captivated and continue to speak of the beauty.) There seems to be no end to the amount of gorgeous candle displays that can be custom tailored to suit any wedding theme. And of course, you can't beat the beautiful look of candles. Choosing Glowing Occasions for my wedding was one of the best decisions I made. Ginger was able to take what I was thinking and transform it into exactly what I wanted. The venue where my wedding was held needed candles to really bring out all its great qualities. When I walked into the venue my jaw literally dropped. It was even more beautiful than I envisioned it. She is a perfectionist who doesn't miss one single detail. Some of my vendors were hard to reach at times, but she wasn't. If she didn't answer she would call me back the second she was available. The prices are reasonable and honestly I learned through this that candles are a much better at adding that romantic feel than flowers everywhere. Trust me if you are looking for a candle vendor she is the way to go.

We used Glowing Occasions for our daughter's wedding. Because my daughter was stationed in Germany I offered to find the venue, pick out her dress and pretty much plan her wedding in her absence. I was referred to Glowing Occasions by a friend and was told that Ginger's work was stunning. That is an understatement! Ginger did an amazing job. The wedding and reception was romantic, beautiful and elegant. My daughter absolutely loved the display. I would confidently recommend Glowing Occasions to anyone.

Working with Ginger from GO was wonderful and most importantly, easy! I was an OOT bride so we did all consultations via email. When I walked into the reception and saw the candelabra centerpieces and the hanging lights over the dance floor I was blown away. There were a million other smaller details that GO put into the space and they were all just perfect. Definitely use them for your wedding/event needs. Pricing was VERY reasonable and Ginger was willing to work with any budget!

My in laws have been married for 50 years so we decided to throw them a surprise anniversary party. Well let me tell you, this is the best idea we had, Glowing occasions was on time, had everything prepared, she had everything lite and ready before the guest arrived. Afterwards, we didn't have to do Anything, The candles and votives were the talk of the party ! Now we are trying to decide on our next party use this company again!! Definitely delivered the product and service!!

As I planned a Luau for family and friends in memory of my mother & house warming all in one. I was wondering what type of lighting could I use... Well, Ginger approached me with a few ideas and I decided to let her go to work on her ideas!! Let me start by saying, it was amazing.... As the cars pulled up, the guests walked up the walk-way to lovely lighted path of candles towards the house, as they entered the house there was another path of lite candles that flowed from the foyer into the kitchen, then onto the counters and stair way.. It was breathe taking to say the least! As my guest gathered to the back yard, smaller floating candles in the pool then a few on the run way across the pool... It honestly added the elegant touch to my event! I will definitely recommend and hire Glowing Occasions again!
