We had an amazing experience with GME Event Group for our wedding!
Our DJ, Mike, was absolutely incredible. From the very beginning, we were so impressed with how much time and ca...
re he put into making sure everything was perfect. He spent a full 90 minutes with us walking through every detail of the day, which gave us so much confidence going into the wedding. His attention to detail, organization, and commitment to understanding our vision really stood out.
On the day of, Mike kept everything running seamlessly. He struck the perfect balance as an emcee, engaging and guiding the flow without ever being overbearing. The dance floor was packed all night, and he did an amazing job keeping the energy and vibes high from start to finish.
Our guests also loved the photo booth! Keilana was fantastic, so friendly, helpful, and great at encouraging people to jump in and have fun. The photo booth was a huge hit and added such a fun element to the night.
We couldn’t recommend GME Event Group more. They played such a big role in making our wedding day smooth, fun, and unforgettable!
GME Group was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the preparation calls leading up to the big day to the flawless execution, everything felt organized and seamless.

ke was our DJ, and we truly cannot recommend him enough. He was incredibly thorough and took the time to really get to know us as a couple, which immediately put us at ease throughout the entire process.
A DJ is basically the quarterback of your wedding day — they set the tone, keep everything moving, and steer the energy of the room. Mike did that perfectly.
We can’t recommend GME Group and Mike highly enough!
Chris is amazing. He seamlessly ran the whole evening. He read the room and timed songs perfectly to keep people having fun and dancing. He was a pleasure to work with as well. Eve...

Incredible, charismatic DJ who got everyone on the dance floor - young to old!
Hiring GME was one of the absolute BEST decisions I made for my wedding day. They were truly incredible from the moment we started planning our wedding, until the very final second...
our wedding ended. We were fortunate enough to have Chris Lawrie as both our acoustic guitarist (alongside an incredible violinist for our ceremony) and our DJ during cocktail hour, reception, and dancing. Chris is UNBELIEVABLY talented and truly kept the party alive and vibrant all night long. We were worried about a less-than-exciting dance floor because of a smaller wedding (about 70 people with only about 55 younger folks staying for dancing), and this fear did not even come remotely close to true because Chris was so thoughtful in getting the crowd excited, etc.
His music selections were perfectly curated to our own personal music preferences and to our guests reactions. We got so many compliments about Chris throughout the evening and guests couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the DJ was.
Beyond his work on the music itself, Chris was fun, kind, helpful, and did more than one can expect from the average DJ. My now-husband and I were so exhausted by the time the reception began, and given we had a buffet-style set up for food, Chris was so kind to get plates for us and gift us some relaxation.
The level of talent (and setup) during the ceremony was also unmatched. We got married in the middle of the desert, and GME brought top notch equipment to ensure perfect acoustic conditions, despite walking into a challenging environment acoustically. They really know exactly what they’re doing. The sounds radiated beautifully through every inch of the ceremony, and we were beyond pleased.
Finally, GME’s offerings are incredible and extend far beyond the DJ-services itself. As mentioned, we did combo acoustic-guitar + violinist during ceremony and it was perfection. We also rented uplighting, cold sparklers, and colorful spotlights lights from GME, and it was SO fun. The lights synched with the music and really enhanced the vibe. Administratively, the booking process was perfectly seamless. Chris Garcia and Team are fantastic to work with and wonderfully responsive / communicative. They also offer their “additional services” through a convenient portal where it’s easy to add selections as new needs come up during your planning process.
Truly can’t recommend enough! Absolutely love GME. 10/10. Thank you all so much!

bout making our night special, and he went above and beyond to deliver. The atmosphere he created was perfect—fun, lively, and exactly what we had envisioned. He expertly mixed a variety of music, from 80’s hits to cumbia to pop and dance music, which kept everyone on the dance floor all night.

His professionalism, responsiveness, and fantastic communication made him a real pleasure to work with. If you’re looking for a DJ who’s skilled, personable, and committed to making your day unforgettable, we couldn’t recommend him more highly

ing all night long!!! There truly was never a dull moment and the dance floor was packed the whole night. We had the best experience working with Chris- easy app to navigate musical preferences, very professional, helped us with song options (if you’re stuck), and an awesome personality that made our whole experience very easy and smooth, and always a quick response if you have questions. We had every single guest come up to us throughout the night or after the wedding and tell us he was the BEST wedding DJ they have ever had- his mixes and energy were unmatched! Chris brought awesome up lighting, cold sparks, and set the mood for the dance party. We can’t thank you enough for such a great atmosphere for our day! The DJ is one of the most important decisions at your wedding, so make sure it is Chris!! You will be so happy you did! Thank you again for helping make the most important day so memorable and fun for us and all our guests!
Chris, our DJ, is fantastic! From the start of the wedding planning, he listened to us, shared great helpful advice, and kept everything super organized. We trusted him since the ...
first conversation we had with him and did not have to worry about anything!
His positive and genuine personality, knowledge in music, and his ability to read the crowd had everyone on the dance floor all night. All our guest danced a lot and had a blast!
He is super kind, patient, flexible and helpful, he even helped us with a lot of things during the wedding that were not necessarily DJ tasks!

mix of genres to keep everyone on the dance floor. As the clock struck midnight, the energy in the room was electric! Chris seamlessly transitioned into the countdown, getting everyone ready to ring in the new year. Chris kept the dance floor packed all night and one of our guests kept raving about how great of a DJ we had. He had epic lights, cold sparks, great speakers, fantastic energy and of course amazing song mixes. Chris, thanks for being so professional, accommodating, and an absolute pleasure to work with! If you want a DJ who will keep your party going all night long, hire Chris.

Chris is the perfect 1 stop shop for your DJ, MC and Live Music. So glad he was a part of our special day! We also loved the ease of the DJ planning app that was used as well. That made planning super helpful! Thank you for everything, Chris!

w of music was SPOT on and everyone was dancing having a great time. He was 10 out 10 AMAZING in every realm. To put it simply, our wedding wouldn't have been the grand success it was- without Chris Lawrie. His DJing of music is the background to our forever memories and for that, we will always be thankful and recommend GME/Chris Lawrie.
Chris did a great job. He was highly communicative ahead of the wedding and incredibly flexible throughout.

My partner and I can’t thank Chris enough for his dedication to ensuring we had the best wedding with the best jams!
Highly recommend having him join you on your day!

usical preference. My husband and I have very different tastes when it comes to music, and Chris was able to incorporate all of our favorite genres seamlessly and even did custom mixes of multiple genres which was a nice touch - his mixes were a huge hit with our guests!! He even pulled off a pretty cool surprise for my husband, researching and cutting/putting together audio to make it happen! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

When approaching wedding planning, my Fiancé and I knew that we were prioritizing the DJ. Our wedding planner put us in contact with Chris and his team, and we immediately fell hea...
d over heels. Immediately after booking, Chris called me to chat about what we were looking for, we specifically wanted live music during both our ceremony and cocktail hour, as well as for our important dances, then transition into a DJ set for the rest of the night. Chris was down for all of that and helped us to curate the vibe we wanted for each of those pieces of our day so that they transitioned smoothly with one another. Throughout the night, our guests raved about his talent as a singer and as a DJ, even my picky friends who are very opinionated about their dance floor experience were in awe of Chris' ability to keep the energy high and engaged! Prior to the wedding, my Mom had requested their first dance song be played from their 1987 wedding. Including my family, creating an intimate feel and honoring my parent's marriage was really important to me, but to be honest, the song is a little bit of a downer. Chris helped us to include the song for a small portion, and even gave a shout out to my parents explaining the importance of the song to the crowd. The short inclusion of the song followed up by a transition into an absolute banger not only gave us a sentimental moment, but quickly motivated our guests to get back on the dance floor once the moment had passed. Chris curated a wonderful night not to be forgotten. He deserves all the praise!
Chris was an incredible MC and DJ for our wedding. He was proactive, meeting with us ahead of time and giving us an opportunity to weigh in as much or as little as we wanted. Amid ...
all the other responsibilities of wedding planning, we didn't end up providing as much input as we planned to—even so, Chris pulled off an amazing lineup of songs that blended our American and Mexican backgrounds, all while leading the reception in both English and Spanish. In short, Chris did an amazing job and we loved working with him. Highly recommend.

iews this as more than just a job. He really wants to ensure that all of his clients needs and wants are met. His ideas enhanced the whole experience.
It really helped that he is bi-lingual so it made others feel included. It really brought joy to everyone in the room and kept our guests on the dance floor. Even I was dancing which I never do! He played a variety of music which we love. It included everything from hip hop to spanish to R&B to 80s. He made sure to cover all bases. I would highly recommend!
Chris was amazing to work with! BONUS that he is bilingual and made my spanish-speaking family feel included in all the aspects of the reception.

got the crowd ready to party and dance the night away on the dance floor. We received so many compliments from everyone on how awesome our DJ was. He exceeded all our expectations and more and made the day so fabulous and enjoyable for us.
Chris is great to work with. He's very flexible and offers great advice based on all of our vague descriptions of what we wanted.
He kept us on track and when we provided general ...
vibe or genre, he was able to deliver them very well. There were some songs that we liked that we had no idea how it would fit into our wedding, but he found some great acoustic versions of the songs which kept the vibe very similar.
He also did very well with hyping up the audience and getting people on the dance floor. He's very good at understanding his audience and choosing the right type of songs and transitions.
All in all, everything was very smooth

In this case Chris is the PERFECT guy for the job! My husband and I hired Chris for his bilingual DJ services and right off the bat we loved his personality and his professionalism! We were his clients but we became friends with him instantly. He took the time to get to know my husband and I before the big day and honestly all our friends who have had a wedding never had that personal experience with their vendors.
So many of our guests loved Chris just like we did, rave reviews all around! He did such an amazing job making both of our families comfortable with English/Spanish presenting and transitioning into each part of our wedding day timeline. Especially with getting the party started!
We are so thankful that everything went perfect on our beautiful day while in Chris’ hands! We recommend Chris to anyone who is looking for the best all around!
Thanks Chris for all the amazing memories you helped create with our family and friends throughout our wedding day! The Nelsons love you! 😊

found out he was also a San Diego native! He was able to go above and beyond with the bilingual services needed! Both sides of the family felt taken care of.
Planning the event with him was so seamless and he was prepared on the day of our event.

So easy to work with and his positive attitude is just what you want your an event!
From the moment we met Chris we knew we wanted to work with him! Selecting a DJ is hard because it’s sometimes hard to sample their work. His knowledge of music and energy made us ...
instantly trust him. He was organized, accommodating and an amazing host for our wedding. Our wedding was logistically very difficult, we had 3 different locations and it rained (at an outdoor venue)! Chris not only accommodated to all these changes/hiccups but he did it with a smile. We danced all night in the rain thanks in part to Chris putting on an amazing set for us to dance to. I would hire him again and recommend his services to my closest of friends.
Very nice and great to work with. We enjoyed having a lot of input on the music through the music app. The event went very smoothly through multiple location changes and Chris made...
sure music and announcements could be heard clearly throughout the venue. He was also very respectful of preferred names and pronouns which meant a lot to us. Chris seemed genuinely happy to be a part of our day and made us feel special! Thank you!

to add music to a playlist (has suggestions if you have no idea what to choose) to having an in depth conversation about what exactly you want for the day of. Chris made the entire evening SO fun and had people chanting for one more song at the end of the night. Look no further, because Chris is the only choice for a DJ OR for live music, because did I mention he’s an incredible musician too?? I want to get married again just to have Chris play again! Let me know if you hire Chris, because I will be crashing your party just to enjoy his music!! 100/10 I would recommend. 500 stars.
Chris was the DJ and MC for our wedding. He carried the event flawlessly, and we couldn't be happier with how things turned out! He was more than a DJ; he helped coordinate music, ...

day was filled with memorable moments and little to no hiccups thanks to the gracious property owners and our wonderful group of vendors. In this review I would like to specifically point out the energy and professionalism put on display by our amazing wedding DJ Chris Garcia, the owner of Garcia Morett Entertainment and GME Weddings. To say the least, Chris was attentive, anticipatory and relaible during our ceremony. He helped ease the stress of the big day by helping us plan ahead and providing guidance and a functional timeline that filled me with confidence. Ultimately I knew that I could place my complete trust in his ability to keep the energy alive all the while emphasizing and facilitating those key moments that we want to remember forever.
One big issue for our wedding party was making sure that both cultures were represented equally throughout the night. Chris, being bilingual, did an amazing job making sure everyone in attendance felt represented and included in the night’s festivities. Chris catered to both our music tastes and played songs that we requested as well as hidden gems we hadn’t thought of. Chris kept the guests dancing all night long and allowed my Wife and I time to be together, reflect and watch our guests have the time of their lives. I would recommend Garcia Morett Entertainment for anyones future wedding date as well as any upcoming events and would be honored to work with him again.

ed us to ask him to play this important role in our wedding. This man does not speak a disingenuous word, he has a killer smile, and he is passionate about music. Not only as a DJ and a musician, but as a listener. One of our most cherished memories with Chris is exchanging music with each other no matter what time it was. Hell, we would be awake at 2am on a Saturday night, hear a song we really liked, look at each other and say "we gotta send this one to Chris". He would always have something to bring to the table whether it came to production, song structure, or the sounds timbre. His genuine interest in our music taste, and our exchanging of music fostered a comfortable environment for us. The authenticity of his character is inviting, and unwavering. His answer for everything was "absolutely" or "I will make that happen". Not once, did we ever feel unsure about his ability to execute, and boy did he execute. We love you Chris!

Holy moly where do we even begin? Chris was an absolute dream at our wedding. We had originally found him pretty late in the wedding planning game, but he assured us that this was ...
okay and guided us all the way until our first scheduled wedding. Unfortunately, we did have to reschedule due to COVID and Chris was just so incredibly kind and patient throughout it all. He made it so easy to transition all of our details to our new date and was always so open with communication. When we FINALLY got married, HE FREAKING DELIVERED. I don't think any DJ has been able to keep my wife and I on the dance floor as much as Chris was able to...and we like to dance. We STILL have not stopped receiving compliments on Chris's DJ-ing throughout the night three weeks later. He was such a vibe. My wife wanted a silent disco so bad, I thought to myself that this would be so difficult to do, but AGAIN Chris delivered and made this entire process such a breeze. Can we say that we are lifelong friends with Chris? Ummmm duh. Ya wanna keep that man around!
