The pair was professional, friendly, helpful, and wonderful to be around. Both our engagement and our wedding photos were beautifully edited and turned around in a very timely fashion considering how many of them there were. Their work speaks for itself. Go look at the albums on their website - your wedding will look THAT good and they will be fantastic to work with while they're doing it! Engagement shoot: Sam and Jen did our engagement shoot this past October on the UMD campus, where the two of us met. They were great to work with - on time, super professional, and had a great mix of their own ideas while also being game to try any photographs we wanted. I think having an engagement shoot definitely settled our nerves a bit regarding wedding photos - we might feel silly posing with our lips mashed together while the two of them fire away but the end results look awesome! We really appreciated their attention to detail like running around the campus fountain to make sure our pictures were clear of passers-by. They told us it would be about a month to get our photos and they were right on time - a beautiful gallery with none of our poses left out, and just in time to share with our families for the holidays! If the engagement photos are just a taster we're seriously looking forward to the wedding photos now!

rail Photography. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From the moment we contacted them, they were easy to work with. We Skyped with Sam as an intro, and my husband and I knew we didn’t need to keep vendor shopping for photographers. He makes you feel comfortable, is polite and professional and personal. This goes for Jen, as well - she wasn’t on our Skype session, but I must note that here! They’re just so sweet. They were quick to answer emails and flexible with questions. They were great to bounce ideas off of - whether it was wedding day timing, how the light would be for certain shots, general types of photos, location queries, or just general logistics. The day of our wedding they were early. They were so warm and put our entire wedding party at ease, and they were ready to get to work. I had asked that all photos be finished ahead of the reception, because I didn’t want to miss a minute of my wedding. They had the list of “must haves” and we started immediately. They were organized and helped move photos right along. We completed everything and I indeed, did not miss one minute of my reception thanks to their organization and swift professionalism. All throughout the night, they kept ensuring we didn’t need anything. They took time to ask about certain shots and double check they were completed. As a slight control freak I decorated the ceremony venue in my wedding dress, and both Sam and Jen helped with that. Jen even offered, several times, to get me a drink if I needed during my reception. What business person does that?! They are beyond caring and truly capture every perfect image and second of your wedding. I was constantly impressed throughout the entire evening. We had our pictures in 5 weeks. All the shots we desired were perfect. They were easy to download, they were quality, and they were GORGEOUS. We were highly satisfied and impressed with the results and they exceeded all of our expectations. This sweet couple works so well together and they are extremely talented at what they do!

e and I were not planning on booking professional photographers, but after a few recommendations and seeing their portfolios, I had to contact them. Their professionalism and responsiveness are definitely what sold me. I loved that they were always available to answer questions. Also! We decided on a SUNRISE photo shoot and they were totally down! That meant waking up by 4:30AM to head into DC before sunrise. I am so thankful for their willingness, and the photos came out absolutely beautiful. We are such an awkward couple in front of cameras, but they totally put as at ease and made us comfortable. I am so glad we chose them to capture these special moments and we cannot wait for the wedding day! Oh, and having an engagement shoot was probably the best thing we have done during this time. So much fun! I love these two and would recommend them to anyone!

During our initial meetings, Sam and Jen discussed our vision and how their experiences could translate into capturing the spirit of our ceremony. Prior to the ceremony, they each met us at our respective locations so that we could have preparation pictures with our attendants. Jen met with the bride and bridesmaids at our hotel suite and she did an awesome job of setting up very creative shots with the gown, shoes, bouquet, and jewelry. Individual shots of the bride looking out of the window over downtown Washington, DC are gorgeous. Sam did an excellent job of capturing key moments of fun with the groom and groomsmen while we got dressed at the church. One of the best moments captured was an emotional hug between the groom and father of the groom, an invaluable moment that will forever be cherished. During this preparation time, Sam and Jen displayed an ability to be in the midst without being in the way. An excellent photographer is one in position to capture all of the great moments without you feeling like they’re over your shoulder. In that case, Sam and Jen are excellent photographers. Sam and Jen have a knack for excellent timing, and this allows them to capture outstanding action shots. One of our favorite pictures shows us jumping the broom during the ceremony, which pays homage to our African ancestry. After the ceremony, Sam and Jen were very efficient with taking the formal pictures of the entire wedding party. They ensured everyone was comfortable, and their patience and sense of humor made the process go smoothly. At the reception, they captured the special elements such as our cake, favors, and decorations, and incorporated these elements into special shots with our wedding rings. Additionally, they captured memorable pictures of us with our family and friends, and they got many great dancing shots from our first dance and the “Soul Train” line. Sam and Jen truly captured our personalities and the joyous mood of the occasion in all of the pictures. We give Gobrail Photography our highest recommendation. Sam and Jen are an energetic, polite, funny, and creative husband and wife team who are very gifted photographers. We are so grateful we hired them to be our photographers for the best day of our lives.

en from Gobrail Photography. I (Renee) initially met Sam and Jen at a Bridal Show in August 2012. I was with my Mom and my sister and we were in awe of their presentation and products. When it finally got to the time for Peter and I to start looking at photographers, Gobrail Photography was at the top on our list to meet with. After completing their online inquiry form, we were quickly contacted by them to set up a face-to-face meeting. We met them in their home office which is filled with many examples of why they are award winning photographers. After discussing it, Peter and I decided to hire Gobrail for our engagement shoot and wedding. Our engagement shoot took place at Camden Yards and at Fort McHenry. Our wedding was to take place in the Little Italy neighborhood of Baltimore City. At our March 2013 engagement shoot, Peter and I were nervous, but Sam and Jen quickly put us at ease and the cameras started clicking. Within a few minutes, we forgot that they were even there. I had started using Pinterest to pin photo ideas so that Sam and Jen could get an idea of what we wanted. Sam and Jen went over and above what I even thought that I wanted. The final results were astounding engagement photos. We were even more excited for the wedding knowing that they would capture our day perfectly. Sam and Jen certainly did not disappoint with our wedding photos. We have had them for a little more than a week now and I think that we have look at them (all 500+) at least 15 times already. Sam and Jen were open and honest with us prior to our wedding when we discussed some of the particular photos that we wanted. For example, we told that that we wanted table shots. I know these shots never really come out all that well, but we wanted to try to make sure that we had one photo of every person at our wedding. Sam reiterated this fact and said that they would find a way for us to get photos of all of our guests. What we ended up with is perfection! Sam got up on a tall (a really tall) ladder and gathered the entire group for a group shot. It turned out to be one of our favorite photos from the night! A few of the comments that we have received so far on our photos include: Unique, beautiful, not run of the mill, awesome and exceptional. And we couldn’t agree more. Thank you Sam and Jen for capturing our December 7, 2013 wedding (and engagement shoot) so absolutely perfectly!

Our engagement session was a blast and we both went home with sore stomachs from all the laughing we did...sure made it easy to take great pictures when you can't stop grinning from ear to ear. On the wedding day they split up pre ceremony and took some of my favorite pictures of all time and I will have them displayed for the rest of my life. Jen was what we decided to call a photogrpher ninja for the way she moved all over the place and got some of the most beautiful shots I have EVER seen in a wedding. I would work with Gobrail Photography a million times before I thought to switch to another group/company!!! Go with them and you WILL be happy.

he biggest fan of being photographed, and Sam and Jen did a great job of making him feel comfortable in front of the camera. I really liked that they focus on using natural light and not adding hundreds of filters, it made our photos look natural and not fake or posed like you see with a lot of photographers today. They got our pictures back to us really quickly, and we could not be more pleased! I am excited for July when they will be taking pictures at our wedding and reception!

Being a husband and wife team was key. Sam was able to go with Jimmy and the guys, and Jen came with me and my bridesmaids. Also combining the couple's styles of shooting photos enhanced our experience and added more depth to the photos, and provide some great shots of our venue. Sam and Jen made it very easy for us throughout the entire experience. They were flexible with dates, times, and locations. On the day of our wedding Sam and Jen were extremely impressive and knowledgeable, as they went right into action. They even helped me with my veil and Jimmy with his tux. :) We would use them over and over again for any event and highly recommend them for any wedding or event one may need a photographer for.

t they don't run their business very professionally. We did find another man and woman team who was cheaper than them, but ultimately decided to go with Gobrail. They have a photojournalistic approach which is great but they do not tell you if a picture looks bad, they will not tell you how to move your hand or anything to make it look better, they just take the shot. Which is VERY disappointing. I felt like some of the pictures we took were going to turn out great and they turned out awful. We got good shots, but some of them that I was really excited for, turned out bad. They took really good pictures at the reception of everyone dancing and having a good time. They are also very slow to respond. Their communication is not very good. They said they would get in contact with us 2 weeks after the wedding, and I had to contact them. At that point, it was 3 weeks after the wedding. We finally got our copies of the pictures 6 weeks later (the same time my friends and other weddings after mine got theirs). They also forgot that we were suppose to get a free print and I had to remind them. In all, we got good pictures, but a little disappointed.
