I had Brittany and Katie. They were so amazing! They made me feel so comfortable. They listened to what I wanted to make me feel beautiful for my special day. Katie did exactly what I wanted for hair. And it stayed the entire night!!!! Brittany did my make up and I felt so amazingly beautiful. I couldn’t be happier

I cannot say enough good things about Tracy and her crew! I got married 9-24-22 at Southern Charm and Tracy did my hair and make up and I looked and felt like the most beautiful bride ever. She is on time, helpful, professional, sweet, fast and is amazing at bringing your vision to life. The makeup did not feel heavy, it did not smudge…literally lasted all night, still looking perfect. I actually stood up in a wedding a few weeks prior to my own and had her do my hair for that wedding as well and she just does a phenomenal job! I highly recommend her and the whole crew!

Tracy is absolutely amazing!!! I was a 2020 bride that had to reschedule 4 different times and Tracy was with me through it all. From 2 hair and makeup trials(cause your taste obviously changes over the years) to 2 different sets of extensions! She is amazing at everything she does! She was so patient through all the rescheduling and and add ons I did through the years. She was always there when I needed advice or questions about anything. I haven’t let anyone touch my hair since I stared with her back in 2019. My wedding day I looked absolutely stunning as did my entire bridal party. Her and her team made us feel like goddess’s that day! And even though she had some personal things going on in her life that day she was very professional and you would never have known she was going through something. She is amazing at everything she does. Hair, makeup, extensions, the works! I would highly recommend Tracy and her team:)

Tracy and her team (Brittany, Missi, and Ashley) did an amazing job on my and my bridal party’s hair and make up for my Chicago wedding! I couldn’t be happier with how my hair and makeup turned out. My wedding was rescheduled twice due to the pandemic and Tracy was so flexible allowing me to switch my date both times. Tracy also did Bellami extensions on my hair and I loved how they turned out!

I found Tracy through Chicago Wedding Facebook groups and I am so glad I came across her business! From the beginning she was straight forward with prices and what is included or not. We rescheduled our wedding twice due to COVID and she was super responsive throughout. I ended up booking a trial and so glad I did! From the trial to wedding day we made some tweaks to hair and makeup, she got it all spot on! It is so nice to have someone that does both hair and makeup so well. On the day of we also had Ashley to help her and she was just as lovely and talented! We had 12 services and managed to be done early despite starting a little late. They have their work dialed in, you could show them any hair or makeup style and they did it just as requested! You will not be disappointed with Tracy’s work and professionalism. She helped make the day perfect for me and my gals!

Working with Tracy and Crystal for my makeup was such a wonderful experience! From the beginning Tracy was so helpful and accommodating. Once I was connected with my artist for the weekend,Crystal, I was able to directly confirm the details with her as we got closer to the day. They didn’t even bat an eye when I asked to add 2 additional people a few months before the wedding. Crystal was even kind enough to accommodate my mom doing not one but two trials (along with my trial) when she decided she wanted a completely different look than what she trialed. Tracy and Crystal helped make our day seamless and all of my girls looked beautiful! I can’t recommend Goddess Effect Artistry enough and can’t thank Tracy and Crystal enough for their hard work on our big day!

Tracy and her assistant did an amazing job the morning of our February wedding in Chicago! They were timely and all of my bridesmaids and I felt beautiful headed to the ceremony in Ravenswood! My hair was perfect and stayed literally all day, with a ceremony at 1pm and reception at 6pm- I was nervous, but it stayed until the last dance wrapped around 12am! The trial was very effective in allowing me to envision how I would look day of and so helpful. Tracy really made me feel like a bride. I would highly recommend Goddess Effect Artistry, as they did such beautiful work at a great value!

Tracy and Crystal did the makeup and hair for my wedding on 12/21/19. We had 9 women and 2 flower girls who got the works! I also had 2 trials with Crystal for both my engagement photos and my shower. They were on time and worked so efficiently together and made us all look beyond beautiful! We had long hair, short hair, up do's and down and they couldn't have been more amazing. I was beyond happy with my wedding look and can't stop looking at the photos. The pricing is also very reasonable for what you are getting, and you won't have to worry about your look all day and night! I will highly recommend them to any friends or family.

Tracy and Crystal were great and very patient with me. I didn't do a trail so I was a little nervous, but I live out of town and couldn't get to Chicago to work with them. They did a great job and we all looked wonderful on the wedding day. Despite us running a bit late in the morning, they were able to fit one extra hair and makeup in for us and still be done on time. I would say that I rarely wear makeup in general so the airbrush did feel a bit heavy and my husband commented on it being very different on the day of, but it looked amazing in the photos and to me as well, just different.

Tracy and Crystal were the most amazing hair and makeup artists that I could have ever imagined. I loved my trial but day of was even more amazing. I went with the full day package.. they did hair and make up for 7 bridesmaids, bride, mothers of bride and groom, stepmom, and flower girl. They showed up early, totally ready to go. They even got ahead of schedule by 30 minutes— how does that even happen?? Every single girl looked flawless. My mom said in no uncertain terms that she wanted her hair down and questioned air brush. We pushed her to get it up and she’s still talking about how beautiful she felt. One hundred percent recommend them and will encourage my family/ friends to go with them as well. Thank you, Tracy and Crystal. You’re amazing.

I got married Saturday 6/15 and I never felt so beautiful in my life. Everyone in my wedding party looked amazing. Tracy also did my mother, mother in law and aunts hair and makeup and they were all so happy. I would highly recommend this company to any Bride. My makeup stayed on all night and I got so many compliments. Thank you so much for making us all feel so great on my big day.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The morning of my wedding these hair and makeup artists showed up 2 hours later than the time I was promised, as they had booked another party before mine. They continued to lie and say they were close until they finally arrived 2 HOURS LATE. They arrived with a hair stylist, makeup artist, and two assistants. The assistants could only curl hair and because of the time crunch were actually giving hair styles to my bridesmaids, which were not to the same quality as the main hair stylist. I had to call a friend to come over and be “on deck” to finish makeup. After having an hour left and 5 more bridesmaids to go, I had my friend do eye makeup while the stylist did the face makeup. Needless to say, this was not how the morning of a wedding should go. I would never post anything like this without speaking to the business owner first, unfortunately Tracy was not willing to have a fair discussion and hung up on me in the end and even mentioned that I am “entitled” for expecting better service.

I highly recommend Tracy at Goddess Effect Artistry! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Tracy. I truly enjoyed the trial she did with me a month before my wedding. On the day of my wedding she was able to perfectly create the look that I wanted, which held for the entirety of my wedding. When booking with Tracy my concern was January weather but she made it up to our hotel the night before to ensure my bridal party looked stunning and they did! Tracy was able to beautifully complete everyone’s looks with time to spare. She really listened our ideas and were able to create different, lovely styles that suited each individual woman. The entire morning went so smoothly thanks to her skill and professionalism. Plus, Tracy was an absolute delight to spend the morning with! Tracy is such a kind soul, I invited her to the wedding so she could see how beautiful her work was and it was worth every dime. She had all of her own supplies, we ran out of nothing and were short of not even a single bobby pin! To top off Tracy's own business she also referred me to an amazing DJ who kept our dance floor packed all night long!

I hired Tracy and her company to do hair and makeup for my entire bridal party for my wedding on 10/7/2017. I cannot even express how blown away I was by the services received! From the first time I contacted Tracy about pricing and services, she was so kind and responsive. She answered my plethora of questions in a timely manner and always made sure I didn't have further questions. She was very transparent with pricing and policies, which I greatly appreciated. In total, her company did hair and makeup for the bride, bride's mother and mother-in-law, six bridesmaids, junior bridesmaid, and flower girl. There were many things that I loved about the services from Goddess Effect Artistry, but I will only touch on the ones at the top of my list. 1) Prices were listed clearly and they did not charge extra for long hair or thick hair. Some of the companies I contacted stated that they could not give me a final price per hairstyle until they knew what the hair they would be working with was like. I wanted to make sure that each of my 'maids knew exactly what they were paying, and I didn't want anyone to have to pay more because of their long, luscious locks! Goddess Effect Artistry had one flat rate for all adult women, one flat rate for junior bridesmaids, and one flat rate for flower girls. 2) Goddess Effect Artistry offered both airbrush makeup or traditional makeup and their prices for either service were the same. Other companies charged significantly more for airbrush makeup, and I loved the fact that Goddess Effect Artistry did not charge more for airbrush makeup. This allowed more of my 'maids to get the flawless and natural look that airbrush makeup offers without breaking the bank! Additionally, all the makeup used was professional grade, and all brushes were freshly cleaned. 3) The artists were so fun, punctual, and professional, and really talked and got to know myself and my 'maids. They were also super great with my flower girl and junior bridesmaids. They made everyone feel like queens for the day! Even with the many services provided, they stayed perfectly on schedule and were able to perfectly execute everyone's visions for makeup and hair. 4) Everyone's hair and makeup remained FLAWLESS all day and night, even through a rush of rain we got stuck in walking from the church to the limo! You couldn't even tell that we had been rained on. The makeup, both traditional and airbrush, and hair held up perfectly! Again, I would recommend Goddess Effect Artistry over and over again. Thank you to Tracy and the whole Goddess Effect Artistry team for helping to make my wedding absolutely perfect!

Working with Tracy was an absolute dream! At my hair and makeup trial we got to know each other and really nailed down what I was looking for on my wedding day. Tracy is so sweet and helpful and was able to take my ideas and make them into stunning wedding hair and makeup! My makeup lasted all day and my hair never moved an inch from where it was supposed to be. She arrived with her team early on the day to set up and the rest is history! Awesome service! We had 13 girls and the hair and makeup came out perfect for each individual style - everyone chose their look - smokey, vintage, fresh/natural, etc. The girls are fun and upbeat and the prices are great! Would highly recommend Tracy & her team.

We booked Tracy and her team for my wedding after seeing how her hair and makeup stayed put in my sister's 108 degree outdoor wedding. She was very professional and also totally open to making any adjustments you request in order to get your look the way you want. It turned out to be the best decision since my hair and makeup stayed exactly the same through the whole day with no touch ups needed -- including a Windy City first look photoshoot all the way through to our after-party that ended at 2am. Highly recommended.

I am sooooo happy with the work that Goddess Effect Hair & Makeup Artistry did. They came on time and ready to do both hair and makeup in 2 hours for 8 girls. Love these guys. Have used them before when I was a bridesmaid in a few weddings. Tracy is awesome. She knows what she is doing, and is always on top of the latest styles. She made me look like a princess on this (obviously) giant day. I remember my husband's family members that I never met before complimenting the crap out of me all night. Heck, it was a little awkward at times. Best part is i get to look back at my pictures and not be disappointed.

I had Melissa, Alicia, and Crystal do makeup/hair for my wedding. These girls were amazing! They really know how to work under pressure and get the bride and the bridesmaid ready to go on time. During the hair/make up process, we had a bomb threat at the hotel. They evacuated the whole building and we were stuck outside for hours. I was really concerned that we will not have any time to get ready and was ready to push the ceremony time back. However, these girls did hair and make up with what they carried out. Crystal is super talented where she did an amazing up-do without a curling iron and Melissa searched the surrounding buildings for an outdoor power outlet to do another great up-do. They were so dedicated to get us ready on time. I'm truly happy that I chose them for my wedding and would recommend them to anyone in an heartbeat.

Tracy was great! She traveled to our house the morning of my wedding with another hair stylist ready to get started right on time. I had 9 girls getting their hair done and many different styles throughout. They were able to accommodate everyone's styles and pictures they brought in. Tracy also did my airbrush makeup and it looked fabulous! It lasted all day and all night and even looked good the next morning :) Would definitely recommend them to friends!
