One of them was a skit we played for our rehearsal dinner, the other was a 4 minute on-the-spot same-day edited video we played at our reception party, another was a 20 minute video of our 3 day wedding, and yet another video was a lookback. We are eagerly awaiting a series of 1 hour videos of each day of our magical wedding.
EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch our videos, I cry like a baby!! The videos allow us to relive how absolutely spectacular our wedding was. I am even taken aback by moments that I missed because I was too busy being a bride:) The wedding videos truly take us back in time to cherish the most amazing weekend of our lives.
I can't say enough about John and his son Chip. We decided last minute to have 2 videographers instead of 1, and that was one of the best decisions we ever made. Every single precious moment was captured. And by having the second person, we were able to show our guests some highlights edited live the day of the reception party.
John and Chip are two of the most caring people that we have ever met. Everyone at our wedding loved them and never felt uncomfortable about having the cameras around them. Their personalities are so sweet and caring that they became part of our family.
My husband and I have decided to hire them every year so that we can do a family video. We now fully realize how important it is to document the most memorable moments of your life.

P.S. If you are considering hiring Godfather Films, definitely opt for the lookback video!! I cried hysterically the first time that I watched it. I am not sure which video made me cry more; the lookback or the 20 minute video of all three days.

Godfather films is a unique wedding filmmaking company who will not deliver any "cheesy" typical wedding video antics! John Goolsby put me at ease with his non-invasive approach. Most of the day I didn't even know he was there! And when he spoke to me...I felt comfortable and relaxed by his loving, sweet way. We also hired someone John referred to us and we were also VERY happy with his suggestion. John never steered us wrong!

e for videography so we could capture and relive the magic for years to come. He was onsite and working seamlessly throught the day. My groom and guests never felt intruded by a team of assistants with bright spotlights, which was very important to me. I wanted to capture the day, not feel the day would stop and start for good photo-ops.
We also opted for a day-after session where we got to revisit the wedding and tell our love story to be included in our DVD package...so when we're old and gray we have those glorious conversations documented.
John has a very natural, easy spirit that you can sense upon meeting and translates allthe way to his editing. We look forward to working with him again in the future.

It is on the expensive side - it can cost as much as the photographer. However, you get what you pay for. The video is something we will cherish forever.
