The catering on our wedding day was absolutely amazing! We had a French fry bar and everyone RAVED how good the fries were! There are 2 things people will remember at your wedding. DJ and the caterer. It’s been months since our wedding and people are still talking about our food. The display and presentation was top notch and service was just as good. I can’t recommend this team enough for anyone wanting an absolute success for their big day!

We had Goehringer’s Catering cater our wedding day and it was so great! They hosted a food tasting, earlier in the year, where we could try absolutely everything and ask them any questions we had. We did not have to sign a contract to work with them, and do not let that deter your decision. They were so attentive from start to finish through email and made sure every detail about our wedding day food was perfect. Our cocktail hour display was phenomenal and the dinner food was so yummy. They even helped us have late night snacks and that was the best decision ever! We still can’t stop talking about it all! John, Barb, and their team were so friendly and we cannot recommend them enough.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Goehringer’s Catering for my wedding, after needing to book a caterer at the last minute. Thankfully, Barb Goehringer was incredibly accommodating and managed to craft a menu that perfectly fit our vision. From our first phone call, Barb’s professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for food were evident. However, it also became clear that Barb and John Goehringer’s passion extends beyond just food; they truly love the Deep Creek area and are dedicated to making every event they cater unforgettable. The buffet dinner was beautifully arranged, but what truly stood out was how the staff made a special effort to serve the bride and groom personally—making us feel cherished on our special day. The menu left our guests raving, and everything was served and cleared promptly and with a smile. John and Barb made our wedding day so special! We had a small intimate wedding in Deep Creek at one of the lake houses. John and Barb came early set up everything in the kitchen and then we all had a delicious dinner. They were so kind and very professional. Then they cleaned up for us while we all sat and chatted. They filled up our dishwasher and packed up all our leftovers. It was the perfect experience and just what I imagined when having a small wedding.

The Goehringer's were great to work with for my daugher's wedding, from start to finish. It truly was an exceptional experience with not even a single glich! Food was excellent and service was very professional and attentive. Highly recommend!

John and Barb were amazing! They are such kind people and knew all the ins and outs that would make our catering perfect. They had not previously catered at my venue and went out of their way to make a visit to the venue to plan and ensure everything went smoothly. Goehringer’s was absolutely incredible! Setting the menu was so simple and Barb was very easy to communicate with. During the planning process, I was totally against buffet style because I was worried about not having enough food but they ensured that would never be an issue and they bring plenty for everyone to at least have seconds. Most importantly, the food was phenomenal. Everything was amazing but I highly recommend the chicken cordon bleu!!

The Geohringers were very easy to work with - professional and friendly at the same time, with an easy, no-stress attitude. Our venue did not have a kitchen, and they were able to accommodate us. They were clear in their communications, and the food was tasty.

John & Barb did a wonderful job preparing the food and setting it all up to display. They were quick and prompt at refilling anything that was running low. They customized the menu to meet our request. Best of all of course is all the food was delicious! I would strongly recommend hiring Goehringer's Catering for your event.

Goehringer's Catering is a one of a kind company!! My husband and I noticed that right off the bat when we first met the owners in their home dining room for our first tasting. We felt like family. They took their time with us, allowed us to ask a million questions and change the menu without feeling guilty. Oh! and their food is INCREDIBLE. I got so many compliments after the wedding. Everyone left full and happy. Cannot thank Goehringer's enough for everything! 10/10 recommend.

Goehringer's was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the whole process of planning our wedding. We enjoyed our intimate, cozy, country-feel tasting. They were fun to chat with and made us feel right at home. They were helpful in assisting us with all of our questions, and open to helping us create the experience we were hoping for. Barb was so kind to find the rose designed butters I asked for. Last minute, she and the team made it possible for our guests to have water - a time consuming and challenging task when unexpected and multiple gigs are booked in a day, but nevertheless, they made it happen. They, also, made a cute table with delicious apple cider and a hot chocolate bar, which was a very nice touch. To top it off, they made sure we were well fed, which was very much appreciated. I may be 1/10 brides who actually got to eat during their wedding, and still got to say hi to all of our guests! Would 10/10 recommend.

John and Barb were great to work with for catering our wedding. Barb was very responsive to all of my questions, concerns, and requests from the first day I contacted them. They were great at providing menu suggestions since I had no idea what we wanted to serve and even for the tasting they made additional items to what we requested. They immediately reserved the date for us when we reached out, giving us time to schedule a tasting before making the final decision on our caterer. They also were quite flexible when we asked to reschedule the tasting because our travel plans changed. The tasting was so nice being in an intimate setting in their home. They were quite clear about what they needed from us regarding deadlines and equipment, making the planning process very easy for us! The day of the wedding, they were also great! They only promised that one of them would be at the event with some other staff to help, but both of them were actually there, making me feel even more secure about things being taken care of. They were also great to my bridesmaids who didn't get to try the appetizers due to pictures, so they put together a couple of plates for them to share, which was so generous! I highly recommend Goehringer's Catering, as they provided great service and they are quite affordable!

Goehringer's Catering was incredible! From the very beginning, they were quick to message me back and provided me with lots of options. The couple allowed us to taste test a variety of items that we were stuck between. Every single item we tasted was incredible! It's 3 months later and we still have guests talking about the food. I still crave the food as well and am praying I get invited to a wedding they'll be catering. The Goehringer's truly were amazing people to work with and I can't recommend them enough! They will exceed your expectations!

Very professional service, with very good food. My daughter lives out of town, and we needed to meet with the Barb Gohringer on the same day on which she and her fiance came up to get their marriage license from the Garrett Co courthouse. She adjusted her schedule to meet with us to go over food menu and place settings. Wedding day was raining, but they were prepared. They arrived wth plenty of time, and suggested ways in which we could keep all the guests dry and happy. Since the wedding was held in New Germany State Park, they even anticipated that we might need trash bags, and gave us extras.

Goehringer's was very easy to work with. They worked with us to obtain a menu that was what we wanted and priced appropriately. They were prompt and professional. Food was hot and tasted amazing. The display of the appetizer table was both beautiful and elegant. They take the time to make your day special. Awesome people to work with!

Barb was so quick to respond, it's almost like she was waiting for your email. John & Barb were wonderful to work with and the food was out of this world! Everyone was complimenting our wedding's food. On top of good food, it was also a great display! Finally, how could I forget the dessert table they made for us?! Absolutely delicious all around! I would recommend them to any couple in the area!

So glad I found Goehringer's Catering and trusted the reviews I read. They did a marvelous job! They answered my questions and made helpful suggestions. Barb was very patient as I made decisions on my menu. I am particular, but Barb listened and met my requests. They prepared food for 100 guests for a rehearsal/reunion dinner. I appreciate their willingness to travel to Blackwater Falls, WV. They were timely, attentive to the serving line and the guests. Truly, every dish was delicious and their set up of the buffet tables was lovely. I received many compliments on the food from family and friends. I certainly want to thank John, the chef, and his kitchen staff. Reflecting on that dinner makes me want more of their tasty vegetable lasagna. I would definitely choose Goehringer's Catering again.

Very punctual, awesome food, great food presentation and accommodating. Very helpful with suggestions on the menu and food to serve with the direction we wanted to go. They also helped in a small crisis with a ripped dress, pleasant to the guests and happy to be there.

Goehringer's was so easy to work with, the food was amazing, and even helped with a last minute request to cut our cake without hesitation!

We had a big charcuterie spread for cocktail hour with roast beef, chicken and mac and cheese for dinner. Everything was delicious! The Goehringer’s were very easy to work with and very responsive. We truly have no complaints!

We reached out to them a few months before our wedding, and they were more than happy to accommodate us on such short notice while also having another wedding the same day. Goehringer’s catered our wedding at Blue Moon Rising at Deep Creek Lake. Throughout the whole process they were easy to work with, responsive, and did everything we asked of them.
