Working with Mike and the Gold Coast Orchestra made wedding planning a breeze! Our top priority was having fantastic music at our reception, and they definitely delivered. Mike kept us informed throughout the entire process and ensured everything went smoothly on the big day. The band was exceptional and kept the dance floor lively all night by reading the crowd and adapting their music. They were hands down the best band we've ever seen!

Cannot say enough good things about this talented group. After speaking with a few other vendors, we hired Gold Coast after only a brief meeting and seeing a few YouTube videos… days leading up to our wedding my husband and I got a little nervous that we’d never heard them live. Our wedding day came and we were absolutely blown away. We’d choose them a million times over! They exceeded all of our expectations; we were very clear our group wanted to party, and song after song they delivered. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about them either. You will not regret it.

After hearing the Gold Coast Orchestra at our friend’s wedding, they were the first vendor we hired for our special day…and they were even more incredible! All of our friends and family agreed they were truly amazing, but Mike was so professional and accommodating throughout the year leading up to our event and answered every question, helped with our timeline, and basically became my honorary wedding therapist! Gold Coast DJ + live musicians really is the best of both worlds! While the DJ rocked the dance floor all night long the live musicians added the energy and intensity of a live band. This was the best decision we made regarding our wedding! I would book Gold Coast over and over again. The music selection was perfect!! The sax player strolled the room and entertained the crowd, and the percussionist added an impressive layer of showmanship. All of our guests raved!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The Gold Coast Orchestra was amazing to work with. They completely transformed the vibe of our wedding and absolutely crushed it. Gold Coast Orchestra are party animals, and we received more compliments on our band than any other aspect of our wedding. They were the best wedding band we have ever heard, and our guests all agreed. They couldn't stop raving weeks later! They are super talented musicians and vocalists, but Mike and his crew know how to get a party started and keep the dance floor packed all night long. Mike and his team were so easy to work with, from the first conversation to dealing with all of the crazy twists and turns we threw at them. They know how to work the crowd and get right out onto the dance floor to make sure the party feels like a Manhattan nightclub. They did a great job reading the guests. This is not your parent's wedding band! These are amazing musicians and entertainers that will light up your dance floor and keep the fire burning until the final encore. Everyone was chanting "one more song" until the venue had to shut the band down to go home and our guests had to get on the shuttle back to the hotel! Ever heard the old adage that nothing beats the sound of a live band? I did. And after hiring Gold Coast Orchestras for my daughter’s wedding, and attending too many DJ-focused weddings, I am a firm believer. Michael Kohn and his group of seasoned, high energy and highly professional musicians made our wedding one to remember. Michael’s one on one involvement in helping my daughter to select a vast variety of appropriate music was invaluable. His final playlist reflected the desires of the bride and groom while satisfying the wide variety of musical styles. Micheal also showed a genuine interest to ensure a successful event. Our food service and floor plan were less than traditional. Working directly with Michael, we were able to develop an effective program that satisfied the caterers while allowing the band to do there job; entertain, drive folks to the dance floor, keep the energy at a higher level and guests smiling. Finally, the obligatory “this was a great party” from guests as they departed was expected. But, the sincere and enthusiastic commentary from my guests was frankly, overwhelming. Of particular note were the raves I received about Gold Coast. My family and I made a lot of good decisions regarding my daughter’s wedding. Rest assured all your plans will fall short if the musical component is not effective. My decision to use Gold Coast was the best one I made by far.

They also were there every step of the way to make your event perfect and to make it exactly they way you dreamed of it to be. My husband and I highly recommend their band !! Our wedding would not have been the same without the Gold Coast Orchestra! They were indeed the life of the party, and the band was incredible. Working with Mike was a comforting experience since we had to change our wedding date twice due to Covid. He could not have been more accommodating throughout these difficult times and really put us at ease. They kept the dance going all night long with 10 amazing musicians and vocalists. My husband and I got married on 2/14/21. We decided to push forward with our covid wedding, and we are so happy that we did. We knew that we wanted to have some form of entertainment, being that there was no dancing allowed. Our venue recommended Gold Coast for live music, and we could not be happier with this choice. Mike was so accommodating and worked with us to put together a four-piece band. The music was amazing, and our guests continue to rave about how great the music was that night. We weren't sure how it would work in a covid world, but our guests (and us) had so much fun. If you are looking for live music, we highly recommend Gold Coast. This band is AMAZING! Mike was so great to work with!
