Our wedding was 5.4.24 and was one of the best days of our lives thanks to everyone at Gold Hill Gardens. From the friendly service, attention to detail, extra decor, gorgeous house, beautiful venue spots, and everything in between. Even with rain and a massive hail storm, we were able to have so many options for our ceremony and reception and Mike even checked in on us! We could not of asked for a more perfect venue and staff to work with for our big day. We will forever owe Gold Hill Gardens for one of the best days of our life that we can look back on forever!

There are so many wonderful things to say about Gold Hill Gardens - it’s beautiful, inviting, picturesque, and was EXACTLY what my daughter was looking for. The perfect blend of elegance and country charm. Katie and her team were helpful, dedicated, and SO accommodating with everything we wanted or needed. I can’t imagine a more perfect wedding venue.

We love Gold Hill Gardens! We were looking for the quintessential "California" venue and GHG perfectly captured that with their sprawling oak trees, running water, manicured flower beds, cocktail hour by the pool, and gorgeous permanent tent for the reception. Their team headed by Katie and preferred vendors made for the PERFECT, seamless day for us. I loved that they hav e preferred vendors for the "big" details of the day (DJ, Planner, Caterer), so a lot of the teams are familiar with working with each other, but I was still able to make decisions about the photography, decor, desserts, and florals on my own without getting locked into anything that we had to just because of the venue. All of our friends and family commented on how beautiful the entire day was, and we felt extremely comfortable and satisfied with the organization of the day. I was so relaxed knowing that all the vendors were communicating and working together to pull off everything we asked for, and I don't think a lot of brides get to say that. I would highly recommend!

We had our daughter's wedding at Gold Hill Gardens on April 19, 2024. I cannot say enough great things about this venue. Katie, the venue Manager, is not only a sweetheart, but also very detail oriented, organized, professional and was so fun to work with from the first day we toured the venue to the day after the wedding. Katie would consistently offer great ideas of things we had never thought of as it was our first wedding. Katie has done several! Many of her ideas were just what we were envisioning. Katie was great to communicate with as we never waited more than a couple hours, if that, for a response when we contacted her with questions. The venue itself is stunning! The landscape is beautiful year-round (we booked 14 months in advance and made several trips to venue), the bar / pool / additional deck area is a great place to have cocktail hour. The venue grounds are well manicured and clean! The bridal suite is very comfortable and spacious with plenty of great lighting and a separate changing area with huge mirrors. Grooms den is very large and a perfect place for the groom and groomsmen to hang out before the wedding. The Inn is large, beautiful and has everything you need to have a great time while getting ready. When you book this venue you not only get an amazing venue, but you have full access to a huge decor room that contains everything you need to decorate your reception area so no need to bring anything, Gold Hill Gardens has it all! I highly recommend you go check it out!

When we began looking for venues to get married, Gold Hill Gardens stood out to us. The natural beauty that surrounds the grounds is breath taking. We had the pleasure of working with Katie and she was more than amazing if I could describe how much she helped us with the big day. Gold Hill Gardens has on site decor and chairs/tables which made the planning less stressful on what we needed for our wedding. Katie provided us ideas and suggestions when we were thinking of the style of the wedding and what location on the grounds to get married. Did I mention they have 4 different areas, some for even when it rains. We loved that Gold Hill provided us the vendors to use which made the planning much easier to narrow down who to use. We were so lucky to get married at Gold Hill Gardens on 03.08.24. It will forever be a special memory of ours and we cannot recommend a better venue for future brides and grooms.

Gold Hill was absolutely incredible in more ways than one. The staff is so kind and hard working and the venue itself is breathtaking. They went above and beyond to ensure our day was a dream come true. Gold Hill and their preferred vendor teams were the best and I highly recommend them to all brides!!!

Gold Hill Gardens was amazing from start to finish. Katie was so awesome and helpful with every detail and her communication was perfect. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about my daughter’s wedding and this venue. Many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. It was beautiful! The grounds are beautifully manicured and the venue even has a decor room to help set the space. This was helpful to us as we flew across country to have my daughter’s wedding here. My wedding at Gold Hill Gardens was great! Katie, our point of contact, was not only professional but also incredibly friendly and easy to work with. The venue itself is a hidden gem that resembles a botanical garden, with flowers in bloom year-round. The natural beauty of the surroundings added an enchanting atmosphere to our wedding. The lush greenery and vibrant blooms provided a picturesque backdrop for our ceremony and reception. It felt like we were in a fairytale garden, and our guests were in awe of the stunning setting. The staff at the venue were courteous, efficient, and attentive to our needs and the needs of our guests. My wedding party and I stayed at the inn on the property, and it was a peaceful haven. The comfortable rooms and serene atmosphere allowed us to relax and prepare for the big day without any stress. It was a wonderful convenience to have such lovely accommodations right on-site. Lastly, I appreciated the thoughtful touch of using carts to transport guests from the parking lot to the ceremony location. It ensured that everyone, including our elderly guests, could easily access the venue without any hassle.

Best venue ever! The price is 100% worth every penny. The whole team is very kind, good at what they do, and very helpful. We just got married on May 12, 2023 and it was perfect! We would recommend this place to everyone!

Amazing and absolutely stunning venue. My daughter, her girls and myself stayed at the venue the night before her wedding. Mike, Cindy and Katie were so wonderful to work with. Being this was a destined wedding for us, they went above and beyond our expectations. My daughter and new son in law truly had their dream wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue 1000 times over. Thank you for making this happen and having the best experience ever.

My daughter was married at this venue. Mike Carson (owner) is great to work with. He has his preferred vendors, which I highly recommend. Their communication is quick, and even received my deposit back in 5 days. The location is beautiful, a photographer’s dream. I highly recommend this location!

Gold Hill is absolutely dialed in on weddings and we couldn't be happier with our wedding here. We got married here end of October and it was so beautiful. Our guests raved about the property! Katie and Mike both have timely communication that makes planning a wedding so much easier. The convenience of what GH already has is incredible (chairs, tables, decor, etc.) and we could not be happier with choosing GH for our day. Would absolutely recommend this venue!

My husband and I got married at Gold Hill on 4.10.2021. Gold Hill was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. I can't say enough good things about Mike and Cindy! They were so friendly, accommodating, and excited about making our perfect day come to life. They really know a lot about how to make a great wedding day - I would recommend following all of their advice! The venue itself was stunning. Mike and City do an excellent job keeping it up. They also had SO MUCH STUFF (decor, chairs, signs, games, etc) that are included in the venue cost. We were worried about spending too much on the venue up front, but saved money (and stress, lets be honest, that's the real savings) in the long run. They really go above and beyond, and have their couples best interest in mind. Beautiful venue, perfect day, would highly recommend.

Gold Hill Gardens is the wedding venue that dreams are made of! My husband and had our wedding here in May 2021 (after an easy covid-postponement from 2020!). Mike and Cindy were fabulous to work with from Day 1, and with every interaction I was left more and more impressed with their dedication, passion and kindness. The B&B and property are stunning - with views of the rolling hills, impeccably maintained grounds, and so many special, fun touches (the chess set, hammock, fire pits, gorgeous pool, beautiful tent, gazebo, tons of cool decor to use, and so much more). Our wedding party rented all 5 rooms at the B&B for the Friday and Saturday night of our wedding, and it was perfect! Our family from out of town was able to start their stay early, which made the entire week so smooth. The rooms were all beautiful and immaculate, and the breakfasts were delicious! The wedding day itself was more than I ever could have hoped for. The ladies got ready in the beautifully appointed bridal salon, and the guys got ready in one of the rooms on-site, which worked great. The venue was gorgeous the day-of, and the ceremony flowed perfectly into the cocktail hour and into the reception. When the evening was over and the guests had left, we were then able to relax with our family by the fire pits, eating leftover s'mores and reliving the night. Gold Hill Gardens has everything to make your big day feel spectacular and elegant, while maintaining an intimate and relaxed vibe. Mike and Cindy, you have made something truly special with Gold Hill Gardens. Not only have you created the perfect setting, but we left feeling so taken care of; your kindness and preparedness could not be more appreciated. We can't wait to visit again soon.

Absolutely gorgeous venue. The owners Mike and Cindy are a dream to work with. Very down to earth and genuinely kind people. They are very flexible and had accommodated us with all of our needs. Due to covid we had to postpone the wedding and they had worked with us to get everything moved over to the new date. The venue has a large storage of various decorations and wedding signs that can be used at no cost, the inventory is quite expansive and has nice items for use. Our guests absolutely loved all the different areas to take pictures since the whole venue is just so beautiful. There were lawn games put out (optional) which the guests enjoyed during cocktail hour. The venue comes with chairs (two color choices) and tables. There is a bridal salon on site in the villa. The villa also has 5 bedrooms for overnight use, at an additional cost. Although there is no dedicated groomsman suite, the grooms were able to utilize one of the rooms in the villa as the groomsman suite. The bedrooms are spacious and each room has its own bathroom. The property has a lovely pool and two different sites for the ceremony, depending on preference and party size. The reception site now has a permanent tent over it, so no need to worry about rain and weather. The tent is upscale in presentation. The owner also has a golf cart he uses during the ceremony to help transport people who need help getting up and down the hill (if that is the chosen ceremony spot). He also mandates a day of coordinator, and although I initially did not want to spend the extra money on that, I am so glad that I did. Our coordinator Raegan made sure everything ran smooth, helped keep us on our timeline, took care of little things, worked with our other vendors and took care of behind the scene problems, which in turn took all the stress off of me as the bride and let me enjoy our day. We rented 4/5 rooms in the villa and stayed there overnight with our wedding party. Once the guests cleared and we settled down, Mike got the fire started for us and provided us with pool towels as some us took a dip in the pool. The next morning we were treated to a continental breakfast. In all, we had a very pleasant experience.

Gold Hill Gardens was the wedding venue of my dreams. Mike and Cindy have done a beautiful job landscaping the land to make it a little oasis in Newcastle. My husband fell in love with the property right away. There is so much charm crafted into all the little areas of the property. From the winding entry path, to the majestic old oak tree by the creek, to the rustic bridge over the creek, my husband and I cannot imagine getting married anywhere else. We wanted a venue that allowed our guests to explore and enjoy fun activities during our wedding. Our guests enjoyed all of the games around the reception, and many of them discussed hosting some of their future events at Gold Hill. We rented out the entire Inn the night of our wedding which was the best decision ever. We were able to unwind with our families by the fireside in the evening and enjoy a nice breakfast the next morning. Mike and Cindy were so accommodating. Mike was always quick to answer emails and easy to work with. They have the day of event coordinating down to a science. If any issues arose, I was blissfully unaware. We were so appreciative of the hard work the staff at Gold Hill Gardens put in to make our Big Day absolutely magical. We cannot thank Mike and Cindy enough for the wedding of our dreams.

I cannot express how happy I am that we chose Gold Hill Gardens for our wedding venue. Mike the owner stay involved through the whole process including the day of the wedding. He made sure we had what we needed to make our day unique and special and had fantastic preferred vendor options. The venue is beautiful and has so much natural beauty that you don't have to add much decorations if you don't want to. It has a gorgeous bed and breakfast to get ready in prior to the wedding and stay in overnight if you want to. There are multiple ceremony site options to choose from. The reception area is perfect for cocktail hour and fun dancing after dinner. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the venue was with easy accessibility, fun backyard games during cocktail hour, gorgeous ceremony site, and a great layout for reception. This hidden gem is the most beautiful venue for your wedding! The grounds are gorgeous right down to the details like several large heart shaped rocks. You can choose from several different areas to have your ceremony, all just beautiful! We received so many compliments at our daughter’s wedding here two weeks ago. The owners, Mike and Cindy, are amazing and so hands on to help on the big day. Our two families also rented the entire inn for the weekend which only added to our wonderful memories! I highly recommend Gold Hill Gardens! You will not be disappointed!

This venue was outstanding. It is and incredibly gorgeous and lush property, with lots of little surprises that our guests loved: a scenic pool, shuffleboard, big oaks, fire pits for s’mores. There is a lot of flexibility for customizing the event to your liking - we felt like we found a diamond in the rough!

I am so happy that we went with Gold Hill Gardens as our wedding venue. The owner, Mike, is so kind and helpful, and very quick to respond to calls and emails. This is a beautiful venue! They have a ton of decorations, tables, and chairs that couples are able to use. They were also very accommodating to a few special requests that we had. There are also 5 rooms at the Bed and Breakfast on site so a few members of the wedding party were able to stay with us. Mike and his wife, Cindy, come in the morning and made us a delicious breakfast. We have received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful and perfect the venue was. We are so grateful with how everything turned out!

I could not have asked for a better venue! This place is absolutely beautiful. The owners, Mike and Cindy, were an absolute joy to work with. Mike helped coordinate our whole day. He checked in with myself and my parents throughout the night to see if we needed anything. At the end of the night, Mike helped heat up our wedding leftovers for us, as were stayed in the bed and breakfast. The bed and breakfast had a large bridal suite downstairs and a grooms suite upstairs. We were all very comfortable while getting ready. My husband and I stayed the night, and were blown away with how comfortable we were. The next morning, Mike and Cindy made a fantastic and romantic breakfast for us on the patio. In addition how comfortable we were, they also provided us with so many of our wedding rentals in the cost. All of the tables, chairs, ceremony arches, yard games for cocktail hour (our guests loved this), signs, decorations, and so many other things. I really cannot stress enough how amazing this place is! I'm really looking forward to revisiting it on our one year anniversary.

Amazing venue! The scenery is amazing. It is the perfect place for a beautiful outdoor wedding. Multiple ceremony spots to chose from. There is a small creek that flows through. The owners set up the tables and chairs and go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect! The B&B is perfect for the bridal party to get ready and to stay the night as well. We knew this was the perfect place for our wedding the first time we visited.

We recently had our wedding at Gold Hill Gardens (Aug 2014). I had a hard time finding an affordable venue with everything we wanted in Placer County. (Special consideration for serving home brew and having our dog there for photos/set up) They weren't open yet when we visited, but Mike and Cindy showed us the plans, and let us know their schedule for completing the modifications to the property. Everything was done on time, and beautiful! They were very accommodating and let us visit a few times before the wedding to lay everything out, tour it with our caterer/coordinator. Every time we visited Mike and Cindy were always so nice, offering water, something else to drink or snacks! Cindy's dream bars are great! We were able to have our rehearsal there the day before the wedding. Our dog had a blast hanging out in the creek during the rehearsal and while setting up for the wedding! We were able to crate him for our ceremony when he needed to be put away. (no dogs in the B & B which is totally understandable!) Mike was super helpful in communicating what the B&B had available for us to borrow/use for the wedding day and the rules were all clearly laid out in the contract. We had early check in for the bridal suite- and when we arrived at 10am Mike and his staff were busy setting up the tables/chairs, Cindy was baking amazingly yummy goodies in the kitchen! With Mike/staff's help + my wedding coordinator all I really did was unpack the car, show how I wanted things set up and then they did it all. Mike even offered to pulled a tractor out to hang lights in the tree by the dessert table, I was like wow, that's amazing but sounds like a lot of work, if they wanted to that'd be amazing but I was just thinking of stringing them around the trees. 5 minutes later here comes the tractor! Mike really goes the extra mile to make their property look beautiful for you! So I was mostly inside getting hair/make up done, or wondering around with my pup just checking in with everyone. Everything was ready to go for our 5pm wedding early! Our wedding was beautiful. Mike took us on a wheeling adventure across the creek so we could walk across the bridge for the ceremony. (he dodged the sprinklers and cows so we didn't get wet- which was pretty funny and honestly made me loosen up before the ceremony! which I needed!) Throughout the wedding Mike and Cindy were so helpful with our DJ, coordinator and caterer, giving a helping hand when needed! They worked with us too on having a babysitter there for some of our guests, mostly they played on the upper lawn, had dinner with everyone, then watched a movie on my laptop. When music went off at 10pm, they even helped us clean up a few items. We all hit the sack that night and slept really well! Mike and Cindy were up super early the next morning making a spectacular breakfast for us and our guests. They even accommodated the extra guests we invited for breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and served on the B&B patio. Afterwards we all cleaned up and were able to get out of there completely by about noon! I'm really excited to see this venue progress, they've got great plans for the future. I'm really happy we were able to find them because otherwise we would not have been able to have our wedding in Placer County where we live- I really wanted to show our family what a lovely area it is! I know many of our guests stayed in Auburn and enjoyed Old Town, farmers market and the wine trail!
