I am so glad I booked Gold Mountain for my wedding reception! It was a more perfect day than I could have asked for. Cheryl was a large part of why we booked Gold Mountain for our ...
wedding reception. She was so knowledgeable and helpful to us from the first meeting. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or kinder event manager.
Hannah was beyond amazing as our Day-of-Captain. She immediately met us with water and appetizers to refresh us before taking photos at the venue. She kept us on schedule and was so helpful and flexible when something unexpected happened. I truly appreciate her hard work and kindness throughout the day.
The room and staff were perfect for our event. They were very flexible when plans would change, and the room looked beautiful and clean. It was exactly how I wanted it to be.
The food served at my wedding was the best dinner I've had at any wedding I've been to. The steak was phenomenal, and the salmon and sides were delicious. I still get compliments from guests on how great the food was!
I truly recommend booking Gold Mountain for your wedding reception, the staff and location was just perfect, and our pictures came out so beautifully!
The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We did the Wedding in the Woods and everything went honestly great. Service was top notch, and the coordination was pretty smooth. The food was fa...
ntastic too.
The only reason they're getting 4 stars is because their advertised pricing does not reflect a 20% service charge that they include on literally everything. It's in the fine print, but we did not account for it and ended up exceeding our budget by that 20%, which was significant. If you choose this venue, budget 120% of the costs they advertise.
We had our wedding here on 7/27/24 and it was beautiful!!! Cheryl B. Was our coordinator throughout the entire planning process and was an angel on earth!! She was so kind and help...
ful and was so easy to talk to and work with. The staff at Gold Mountain were also so kind and helpful. We are over the moon with having chosen this as our venue. What a fairytale wedding it was!! Thank you, Cheryl!!
I recently attended my best friends wedding here as the best man. I was rather disappointed by the staff service after shift change and the main coordinator left (after dinner was ...
served at the reception). We were assured that any shift changes would still be helping out the ensure the reception went well. there might as well have been zero help. We did not see a server again until after we started leaving the venue. We had to hunt down where the cake cutting knives and plates were and ask for help with serving the cake. Additionally, the contract mentioned that any remaining funds that did not reach the $1500 open bar alcohol limit would be reimbursed with cases of wine or beer. We came nowhere close to the limit and received 7 single bottles as “reimbursement.” While the venue and scenery are beautiful I would not book here purely due to the burden of poor service.
As a wedding DJ I love providing the ceremony in the hidden forest and they are so happy to give all the guests rides in the golf carts which is a fun experience. The reception hal...
l is spacious and great for sound. It is next to the golf house so you have plenty of access to space and amenities and lots of parking

We were so happy that we chose Gold Mountain for our wedding in July! It was the perfect woodsy setting for our small wedding of about 50, and it was naturally beautiful so we didn...
't have to spend much on decorations.
Cheryl communicated very well with us throughout the whole process. All of the day-of staff were very professional and helpful.
The food and drinks were all fantastic. We ordered a small cake and cupcakes through the in-house baker, Anne. Our guests loved the cupcakes as well.
We highly recommend Gold Mountain!

If you are looking for a romantic wedding venue for a smaller and more intimate wedding, this is your place! The staff here will take such great care of you and work tirelessly to ...
make sure your day is as perfect as possible. As a wedding photographer, I always appreciate a venue that has a verity of places to take photos- and this place has so many lovely spots to take portraits and get a variety of looks. Please, do yourself a huge favor and book a tour to see the magic yourself!
Absolutely hands down the best venue & team to work with. Cheryl is the coordinator for this venue and is so incredibly kind, flexible and wonderful to work with. All costs & charg...
es were made extremely clear prior to booking, the venue is so cozy & the food was incredible!!! It tasted just like the tasting we did prior to the wedding with Cheryl & their chef, which is an extremely rare quality when it comes to cooking for large groups!! The day of team, including Katie (our day of coordinator), the bartenders & other service members were so kind and wanting everyone to have a great time. Our guests commented on how quick & thorough they were. I truly cannot recommend this venue & team enough. I am so grateful that my husband and I were able to have our incredible wedding here!!

t well taken care and guided. All the feedback we received from our guests was that it was beautiful, staff was wonderful and food was great! I would highly recommend Gold Mountain to everyone!
The staff was knowledgeable, responsive and helpful. Great value for the price. They were able to either furnish things like a baker, food, beverage in house, or they could provide...
recommendations on vendors. Had no issues. We had a great wedding and we got tons of compliments on the day.
Our wedding was so perfect and everything we hoped it would be, and so much of that is because of Gold Mountain! From the time we toured the venue to getting married there almost a...
year later, this was the perfect venue to work with. Cheryl was incredibly organized, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process, and that made such a huge difference going through the stress of wedding planning. Having in-house food included in everything was also so great - and the food was one of the biggest compliments we got! All of the day-of staff was amazing, and there was no stress around anything about the venue on our wedding day. All of our guests had nothing but good things to say about the evening as well from the Wedding in the Woods space to the food to the reception hall, and riding in the golf carts was such a fun touch! We really couldn't have asked for a better venue to have our wedding at; it was everything and more that we planned! We'd highly, highly recommend Gold Mountain for your wedding venue!
Our wedding at Gold Mountain Golf Club could not have been better. The venue is beautiful, and the staff were amazing. Cheryl in particular was so great to work with and made the e...
ntire planning process stress-free. Our day-of captain Hannah was also helpful and made sure our vendors had everything they needed. Both the ceremony space and the reception space were set up exactly as planned when we arrived. The food, including our wedding cake, was fantastic, and any guests’ dietary restrictions were able to be accommodated. Our guests raved about the beauty of the venue, the great food, and the amazing staff. We can’t recommend Gold Mountain Golf Club highly enough.
I’m writing this for future brides and grooms as much as for the venue. More couples need to find this place! From the look on my husband’s face when we first arrived to tour, I kn...
ew this was our venue.
A few points of interest that sealed the deal for us: day-of captains are included with the price of the venue, catering menus were very forgiving but had range for those who want something more (and no extra cost for plated meals for guests with dietary needs), linens and tables are also included, the venue is stunning for both indoor and outdoor events, and they have an ample stock of wood rounds and candles available for your use! Quite a few to-do and budget items came off my list with one contract without sacrificing an ounce of quality. Our guests were also shuttled to the ceremony site by golf cart, which was fun and unique!
With that aside, here’s what really matters: every single person working here is a champion of their industry. Cheryl, the venue coordinator, was so communicative and accommodating wherever possible. She had ready answers for all our questions and went above and beyond to provide transparency and individualized care. It feels like an afterthought that we dealt with none of the shady business and hidden fees other venues were pulling because her style was so focused on the opposite. In fact, in the week leading up to our wedding, she was even attending a local educational conference with other venues and vendors, which to me showed such dedication to top-notch service.
Then there’s the day-of venue captains, Megan and Keira. I don’t know what we’d have done without them! When I got stung by a bee during our first look (spring weddings, am I right?), Keira was right on top of it with a baking soda mixture that brought the swelling and redness down before the ceremony. Totally undetectable in pictures, and the whole thing was forgotten within a half hour! When my husband got sap on his hands teasing pine cones out of my train (lace in the woods, oops, but it’s part of our story now!), Megan was quick with a solution by way of hand sanitizer. Really, there wasn’t a problem they couldn’t solve. I hope the venue knows how valuable this team is. We couldn’t stop talking about how happy we were that we went with this venue over my second choice, which would have left us to our own devices.
We have a couple family members who work in the wedding industry (not locally), and they kept saying they’d never seen a venue so organized and proactive. From Megan catching and directing vendors for setup before they had a chance to look confused, to the wait staff swooping in to clear tables before guests could wonder what to do with their dishes, every detail under their purview was handled without a thought from us. I personally struggled to release control of the planning and details, but on the big day I knew I could set that all aside and focus on the moment without a worry. Our guests enjoyed themselves immensely, and if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing.
Cheryl (coordinator) or this place, she was amazing and attentive. Originally, this was my only venue I wanted to book. 1-it’s beautiful but 2-Cheryl was amazing. I found out my ho...
neymoon plans did not align (we were doing getaway) with the location so we chose a different venue. Cheryl was so amazing we still almost chose this location. I would not blink an eye if you want to book this location, you’d have a great coordinator too.
Cheryl and the entire staff were very knowledgeable and professional. The food was especially delicious with wonderful presentation. The venue was a peaceful setting.
I realize they have good reviews from 2020, which is one of the reasons I picked it but, I would have to say this venue has Fallen apart, I went through 4 people in the weddings/ev...
ent manager position, communication was horrible if just not even existent and day of they completely dropped the ball, ceremony and reception were set up wrong and when I let the day of coordinator know she was so rude, i ended up with an extra empty 20 chairs for my ceremony, which wasn’t a big deal till I saw the picture and I ended having to fix the tables at the reception myself. Also minimal pictures due to not being able to go out on the course and take pictures as there was a tournament that day (there are tournaments every weekend in the summer, just an FYI I was not told this) and the golfers come first, we were also told we could show up anytime 11am and on, my mom showed up around 11 to set up there so called bridal suit and there was no one there to help her, she was told that no one would be there till 1:30, I showed up about 1:00 with the bridesmaids and still no one was there. And the bartender…who pours weak 10$ drinks and cuts people off after 2 doubles- who were not intoxicated. Overall to pay $8000.00 was not even worth it for one day- I guess it cheaper compared to most and you always get what you pay for, and it’s suppose to be perfect but the flaws in this venue definitely effect the outcome of big parts of the day that I can’t fix nor get back.
Pros you get golf carts to drive and the food was good.
This venue is GORGEOUS!!! They were so understanding of the pandemic and pushed our April date to August with no additional charge. They communicate so well and work with you to pl...

I can’t say enough about this venue. Everything was so amazing! The forest ceremony space was so insanely beautiful, the food was the best ever, and the wedding coordinator at this...
venue was outstanding! this was a super in budget venue but so gorgeous!
The venue, staff, and views were all amazing. The months leading up to the wedding, Jesse handled all of our wedding logistics with efficiency and care. Our day of coordinator that...
came with booking the venue was amazing and everyone adored her. The staff handled everything so well and the food was amazing. Our guests were a big fan of the popcorn bar. We are so happy with how our day turned out and are grateful for the memories. The dressing room was so big it fit all of us and anything we needed to store for our wedding. Gold Mountain was even generous to let me have my darling Golden Retriever stay at the venue with us. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a budget friendly wedding in the woods.
First things first, Jesse is amazing! She is the events manager at the golf course and you will come to love her during your planning stages. We are inquisitive people and planners...
at heart, and Jesse was always available to answer ALL of our questions. With a broken wrist, she even demonstrated the different napkin folds and helped serve our menu tasting. With that out of the way... the rest of the venue staff is equally amazing.
We had two people help during our wedding and they did way more than expected. From helping direct our procession to cleaning up broken glass on the dance floor (oops!), they were pros. The bartenders handled our signature drink with ease and the staff were present and available, but not obtrusive. It was everything you could ask for in a venue.
And the value?! Oh boy, what a deal at Gold Mountain. In the gorgeous hills outside of Bremerton, the venue feels remote but with the amenities of a five-star hotel in the city. With on-site catering and dessert options (Anne who does cupcakes doesn't have a place to leave reviews, but she's seriously incredible), it's an all-in-one package that makes an affordable wedding feel like "an intimate celebrity wedding," as one of our guests described. Everything was set up when we arrived for final decorations, and they helped explain the sound system, the cart rentals and clean-up processes with us. For what you pay, it's incredible how much support staff they have to assist you.
We couldn't have had our perfect wedding without Gold Mountain!
There are no words to express how amazing this venue was for our wedding. The staff and people were so nice and helpful. They made the day of perfect and stress free. Jesse was so ...
wonderful in answering all my questions and giving suggestions for vendors (which turned out amazing also). She helped my dreams come to life and I always felt like she had time for me even when it was the busy summer wedding season. The food at our reception was to die for and we got so many compliments on it! The day of coordinator was also wonderful. She made everything go so smoothly on the day of. I did not feel stressed at all. If I had to do it all over again I would pick this venue every time!
They are amazing. Very helpful and very accommodating. The price is right and they made my day amazing!
The team at Gold Mountain made everything that we wanted done a possibility. As most weddings go, there are hiccups and unexpected delays. The team was right there and ready to hel...
p us throughout the day. From my perspective, there were only a few things that didn't happen, like the projector not working at the reception. All in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend them for sure.
We loved the fact that we had the entire restaurant/bar/club house to ourselves and were told that whatever we wanted we would be accomodated. The ambiance was excellent there was ...
a large fireplace with sofas around it so our guests could enjoy the fire or they could dance or sit and talk at the tables. The food was awesome and every one of my guests were taking about how good it was. The dancefloor area was large and can fit at least 30 people comfortably. Since our wedding was on New Years Eve we were allowed to come in to decorate early in the morning and the restaurant area was closed to any lunch crowds. The staff assisted in decorating! We had a bar tendeder that was excellent and kept the guests entertained in the bar area. There was a large screen available for our slideshow and to watch the New Years Eve count down.;May be hard to book if it's during wedding season. We lucked out for New Years Eve since it's considered the off wedding season. During the summer there are lots of golf tournaments during the day.
