When I asked him to reach out to the band so that they could coordinate together - he didn't even hesitate. Kyle took care of the music during the ceremony, cocktail hour, MC'd the beginning of the reception and the first half of the reception. Everyone was still able to put in their email addresses so everyone got the digital print which was great. Other than two things I mention below, he did a FANTASTIC job! Everyone was telling us the next day how much fun they had at our wedding and that if you didn't have a good time it was pretty much your own fault. So thank you Kyle for making it an epic night and party! Just wanted to note two things about our experience: (1) the planning meeting we were supposed to have the week of the wedding was pushed back a couple of times and we ended up having it the day before my wedding (an hour or two before my rehearsal dinner - which if you didn't plan accordingly could've been crazy and hectic!). I totally get that things come up, but if I were any other bride not as Type A as myself I may not have had the time to have the meeting so close to the festivities. (2) He didn't play one of our must-play songs. My brother asked about it and requested it again during the reception but it was never played. Maybe it was because it didn't jive with the wedding atmosphere/party but it would've been helpful to give a heads up about this. Other than that, Kyle was super easy to work with and I'd recommend him to other couples!

hem from day 1! Kyle made the planning process such a breeze and by the time we were done, we had gone from acquaintances to great friends! When our wedding finally arrived (2 year engagement) we had a beautiful first dance thanks to the Dancing On The Clouds add-on. Kyle has recommended it to us, and we are so thankful that he did! It produced some beautiful photos that we would not have gotten without his recommendation. We also had a photo booth which was “THE BOMB DOT COM” lol. Seriously though! The photos came out so sharp and colorful. GSE really does go the extra mile for their clients. Kyle sent us a few larger, individual photos from the photo booth so that we could have for our personal use. Again, going the extra mile for our big day! We can’t say enough about the service that we provided and I have to say, he did a killer job DJing and MCing! He wasn’t one of those cheesy “in your face MCs” who dance with the clients and make them feel awkward. Kyle stressed to us that this day was to be all about us. He had the dance floor packed from the beginning, and he handled everything with class and was such a professional. I will always recommend GSE, 1million percent of the time! So thankful! MANY DJ companies-some that offered big features that were of no interest to us, another that used high pressure sales tactics and tried to sue us for slander when we left a very accurate review online of our experience, and another that would not customize anything for us. Working with Gold Standard Entertainment was a breeze! They played all the songs we asked them to play at the correct times. We also added a photo booth with GSE and they sent us an album with all the shots from the night. They were also able to isolate a couple of choice shots from the photo booth so we can get larger pictures made too! Everyone wants to book a DJ that comes highly recommended, especially for a wedding. Music is extremely important and ubiquitous in our lives. Entrusting Gold Standard Entertainment with our wedding music was the best decision we made! If we ever need to book a DJ for any other life events or parties, it will be GSE for sure!

I like to do my research before making any decisions, but after our first meeting with Kyle we knew that GSE was going to be our choice. Kyle was both our DJ and MC, and he did both amazingly well! We were not sure how having a mixed crowd of people, from many different heritages from both of our families would play out, but Kyle was excellent at mixing all styles of music without any problems. The best part (in my opinion lol) was that he played the music at moments that caught the crowd by surprise, and made the night of dancing so much fun! We also loved the dance floor and room lighting around the walls. GSE customized everything for us and really helped bring our Wedding dreams to life! Thank you to Kyle and GSE! WE LOVE YOU!!!

I have never been to a wedding where people were on the dance floor as much as they were!! It was such a fun night and Kyle executed everything perfectly. Just the right amount of talking too, he got the crowd hyped up but in the right fashion. We want to thank him from the bottom of our hearts for making sure our wedding was everything we imagined!

From the very first introduction during the reception, to the final moment of the night, Kyle was energized, professional, and kept the entire room going all night! His music selection was incredible, as he was mixing everything from oldies for the grandparents in attendance, to house music remixes and hip hop for the younger crowd too! He did this seamlessly, and the surprise of him crossing genres of music at any moment really made for an exciting night on the dance floor! I also wanted to point out that GSE's photo booth attendant was very professional too! We took 4 different photos throughout the evening, and each time we were greeted with a smile. At the end of the evening I approached Kyle for his business card and I told him that "WE ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE YOU AT OUR WEDDING!" Ive been to many weddings, and GSE is far and away better than the rest!

ices and was so easy to talk to, which was refreshing! We had a very complex layout of events for our reception and he gave solid advice on how best to lay it out. On the day of, we actually decided to switch things around and Kyle was really the key to making sure the last minute changes happened super smoothly. As far as his announcer style, he is not one of those overbearing “WWF/wrestling” announcers — he blends in, speaks at a normal volume with just the just right amount of energy/enthusiasm. He also offers a photobooth service complete with a second person manning the photobooth (yes you will need to account for 2 vendor individuals when finalizing the guest list) and his name was also Kyle. They provided very nice props with the photobooth, and the guests loved the photobooth so much that the printer actually ran out of ink about an hour before the wedding ended. According to Kyle and Kyle, this was the first time it had ever happened, and they promised that they could re-print any and/or all photobooth pictures and “blow up” any of them we would want. They delivered on this promise, and it looks like we had really energized guests using the photobooth from start to finish. Another caveat is that our sound sometimes cut out during our wedding ceremony during the officiant’s speech, which Kyle repeatedly apologized for — apparently it too had not happened before and may have been due to an interference between people walking in front of the speaker. The sound was perfect during the reception best man/maid of honor/parents’ speeches though. This may have been due to a last minute change of the ceremony into a tent setting due to the rain. He was the utmost professional about it and made changes to make sure the interference would not happen again; however it is something that we and our guests definitely noticed and that is why we can only give 4 stars instead of 5 — hopefully he can work out this glitch so it doesn’t happen at future weddings. The music during the dancing was the perfect mix of slow dances and fast dances. The music blended together perfectly — the transitions were top notch and we could not be happier about that. We would definitely recommend Gold Standard Entertainment!

Kyle is great with communication and always gets back to you in a timely manner which again, i sooooo appreciated. Kyle is a friendly guy with a bubbly personality making him the perfect MC. Before starting the bouquet toss or the toasts, he always asked us if we were ready which was important because the day was a big happy blur! The photobooth props were cute and fun with bridal party sunglasses and stupid stuff like a batman mask and turkey hat! 10/10 would recommend them everytime!

We had specific songs picked out for different parts of the night( dances, cake cutting, when dinner was served etc), but otherwise we left the music choices up to kyle. Our only request was we wanted everyone to have a good time and keep everyone out on the dance floor. He did exactaly that, set the tone early and kept the energy going all night. We also used Gold Standards photographers. We have not seen any pictures yet(our wedding was only 4 days ago) but we are sure we're gonna be happy with the product. Kyle and Millie took charge and had us and our bridal party all over, taking all kinds of pictures at different locations throughout the venue. We cant wait to see them. Kyle literally made the night. Set the tone with his music choices, and kept the party going all night long. We cannot say enough good things about Gold Standard.
