The lakeside views are beautiful and the gondola ride was one of my favorite parts of the day! Guests loved the location and being able to stay on site for the wedding. I have nothing but good things to say. We are so happy we chose the Golden Arrow and highly recommend!

wedding day as easy as possible. The weekend of our wedding, both Alex and Erin, went above and beyond to make sure we were ready for our big day. Literally not one thing went wrong the day of the wedding thanks to them. Almost all our guests have told us it was one of the most beautiful and best weddings they have ever been too. I wish we could redo our wedding day over and over at the Golden Arrow. It was the best decision my husband and I had made. Alex and Erin are truly the best.

Even our first time touring Alex made us feel welcome and excited about having our wedding there that when we were done it wasn’t even a question of IF, it was a question of WHEN! They were extremely communicative and very accommodating with food requests. They answered all of our questions and it felt like they always had our best interest at heart and we’re genuinely excited for us. When I barely ate any dinner or dessert they (along with the pit side planner) boxed it up and left it in our room which is really thoughtful. There’s a stunning bridal room for getting ready overlooking the water. The meals were fantastic, the reception space was beautiful, and the hotel itself just has so much to offer. We also had a morning after wedding brunch and that food was just as amazing! It’s more than just a wedding venue, it’s a place we hope to return to for years to come.

e went with Golden Arrow in Lake Placid. Alex & Erin were incredible to work with as our wedding coordinators. From the start of working with them, the planning leading up, to the day of - we are so pleased with the entire process. Alex & Erin are seriously THE BEST! Both of them are really friendly and fun to work, so attentive to a bride’s details, had our wedding day flow seamlessly and really added special touches to make our entire weekend there so special to us. Not to mention - accommodations right at the venue for guests were so nice to have, the VIEWS simply speak for themself, the staff is amazing (shout out to Natasha, cousin Vinny and Charles!) and the food was incredible. We had so many guests complimenting us all evening on the venue, the food and how they can't wait to come back to visit Lake Placid again!

Alex, Erin, and Natasha were so incredibly helpful from the very start. We had TONS of questions and they were always able to answer everything and be flexible with requests. They were super organized which made both planning and day of super easy and chill. We felt extremely confident with them and trusted them with everything - it truly felt like they were invested in you and your day rather than just being all business. We loved having the hotel option right there on-site for our guests, and everyone loved having the beach and activities right at the hotel in addition to being able to walk around and explore the town super easily. The food and drink choices were fantastic (we still crave some of the hors d'oeuvres from our reception), and literally everything went to plan. All in all, we had the best day ever and cannot thank Golden Arrow, Alex, Erin, and Natasha enough!

The day of went so smoothly thanks to them, even though we had some unexpected rain right before the ceremony, they KILLED it at rounding everyone up so we could get the ceremony done earlier to beat the rain. The resort itself is perfect for a wedding. The views are impeccable, there are tons of rooms for guests to stay, and so many things to do. We had family fly in from all over and we everyone was please with how exceptional everything was. Our reception was in the Four Seasons Room. So easily accessible from the ceremony and cocktail hour, the food was 10/10 and the bar did an amazing job. It was hands down the best day of our lives, I wish I could relive it over and over. Due to rising travel costs many of our international friends and family could not make it , so it was a smaller event than initially planned, but the team was able to help accommodate the smaller event as much as they could based on our contract. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly during all our wedding related events. We certainly felt like we got our moneys worth and then some!

ch! Alex helped us with the ceremony coordination and was incredibly helpful and patient. Alex even took us for a boat ride after the ceremony which was amazing! She managed to grab us some drinks and snacks - truly a godsend! Natasha helped us plan the food menu and was more than accommodating with some our guest’s specific dietary restrictions. The food from Generations was a big hit (my favorite was the Mac and cheese)! She even helped us coordinate a night cap at Generations after 10 pm. All the staff were just so sweet. Kim at the front desk took some lovely photos of our ceremony from the balcony. And probably my favorite thing - when we got back to our room, the staff had printed out a photo of us on the boat, framed it, and put it in our room! So sweet! We can’t thank the staff at Golden Arrow enough - they’re the best!

ff at the hotel made it easy. They went over the itinerary, made sure our guests were happy, and made sure we had everything we needed. We asked for a steamer for the wedding dress and bridesmaid dress which Vinny provided to us. Alex was great to work with throughout the entire process. Answering questions about rooms, guests, and vendors. The hotel even called the restaurant that we had the rehearsal dinner to ensure that the restaurant we were eating at treated us right. They provided us with gifts when we arrived. Then after the ceremony we went up to the room to find two photos left on the bed of the ceremony. The food was excellent. The steak, chicken, and fish were excellent. The steak guests raved about for days. They even accommodated our one vegetarian by making a special meal just for them. In addition they easily handed the allergies that some of the guests had. The reception room, the 4 seasons, was perfect. The lightening can change for different moods which was great. Not only was the wedding handled perfectly but the hotel itself is gorgeous. Overlooking the lake with the mountains surrounding was perfect. We even had some late April snow so they made sure to turn on the fire pits so the guests could warm up next to them. The staff was perfect, the experience was great, and easy. I highly recommend the Golden Arrow for a destination wedding in Lake Placid, NY.

. look no further than the Golden Arrow! Our wedding weekend was everything and more and it is all thanks to the wonderful staff. Alex, Natasha and Brandon were there every step of the way to ensure the day went went as planned. The venue speaks for itself, I was hooked after the first few minutes of our tour! The hotel is family owned and operated and it truly made it that much more special for us. You honestly feel like the only bride they are working with and they are all always there to help. I was a 2021 bride and Covid threw alot of curve balls, but Alex was always so positive and kept me up to date on everything the Golden Arrow was doing to follow each new set of guidelines NY state put out. The food was incredible and many of my guests are still talking about it! We lucked out with the perfect fall weather as well. The cocktail hour space was so perfect for all of our guests to be able to mingle with one another and look out over the lake. One of our favorite moments of the entire wedding day was when we were able to go out on the lake in their wooden boat to spend some time alone right after the ceremony. With so much going on the entire day, it was so special to be able to spend some time alone with my husband and get some AMAZING shots as our photographer came along for the ride too. The reception space is perfect as it is located right next to the ceremony space with a beautiful view of the lake. We loved that our guests were all able to stay at the Golden Arrow and make a weekend of it. We are so happy we picked the Golden Arrow because we now can go back each year to spend time where we got married. The entire wedding day from start to finish was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend booking the Golden Arrow for your wedding!

My husband and I were lucky enough to have our wedding celebration with the GA team and our guests are still talking about it weeks later. Alex, Brandon, and Natasha SEAMLESSLY coordinated three days of events for us (welcome happy hour, ceremony & reception, farewell brunch). They did not miss a beat. Not only were they always responsive, no matter how little the question, but they SHOWED UP for us on one of the biggest weekends of our lives. As a bride, I had some moments where I needed help with other vendors and they took every single thing in stride and handled it themselves. We'd honestly get married again each year if it meant seeing this amazing group again, as they were just class acts all the way through. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you GA team. Seriously, book them- you absolutely won't regret it.

eremony & the gondola ride after the ceremony exceeded our expectations. Throughout the planning process Alex & Natasha were quick to respond to my questions through emails and phone calls. The ceremony space overlooking the lake was the perfect backdrop for our vows. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and lake front property. The hotel staff was nice enough to pack away our leftover desserts until we checked out the next day. If we could change one thing, we would recommend securing an area away from vacationing hotel guests for family photos /first look.

It is a very eco-friendly resort, it is woman and independently-owned, and it has beautiful accommodations, and ceremony and reception spaces. The people that helped us really made it special. The entire staff is great, but Alex and Natasha are especially amazing! Alex worked with us from day 1 when we were scouting venues, all the way through to our wedding day when we had to make a last minute time change to our ceremony. She helped at every single step and was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and generous with her time. We were incredibly fortunate that we did not have to alter our wedding plans due to COVID-19, but Alex and Natasha kept us updated on all changes that were occurring with plenty of notice. Both Natasha and Alex were fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about them! I also want to note that the food is DELICIOUS. Our guests have not stopped talking about how good the food was, and I wish I still had some leftovers. If I could leave a higher review, I would. %100 recommend!

h a great fit. We had the best weekend imaginable. So many of our guests said how impressed they were with the helpfulness of the front desk staff, and especially at the celebration. When we arrived on Friday, we were immediately greeted with smiles, can-do attitudes and genuine excitement for our big weekend. We had so many waves of people arriving, bringing totes, dropping off bags and so much more but the staff never made it seem like an issue, a chore or were bothered. THANK YOU for storing our flowers and cake - what a huge load off of us. The food, drinks and service were outstanding, which are so important. Alex was totally right - there was so much at late night as we were unsure if what we ordered was enough. There was plenty! We could go on and on about this weekend, but it meant so much to us that Golden Arrow worked with us as a couple through the challenging 2020-2021 season. Can’t recommend the Golden Arrow enough!

Through all the ups and downs we were faced in light of Covid and having to postpone our ceremony of due to rain and jump quickly into cocktail hour, everything was perfect! Alex, Natasha and Brandon are a great team. Alex is by far the best wedding coordinator around, she truly wants whats best for the couple and will do anything to make your day something you'll always remember. Natasha was amazing ,working one on one with us, helping plan our dinner. With all the changes we had to make we don't reject any of them, if we had the choice we would relive the day again! I would highly recommend the GA for a rehearsal dinner or wedding! Best views around, best staff, best food and best time!

f. Alex is absolutely incredible and was so helpful when we had to dramatically shift our wedding plans due to covid. We were able to do a small ceremony on the boathouse and go on the most beautiful gondola ride after the ceremony. The GA itself has many nice amenities for your guests and is right in the heart of Lake Placid. We cannot recommend highly enough, best wedding venue in NY, hands down.

wedding back pre-COVID. Let me tell you, we have heard absolute horror stories of postponements, bad business, and the ugly side of COVID wedding planning. We knew we made the right decision with the GA family, but how they handled our postponement, and elopement celebration was just the icing on the cake. They were with us EVERY SINGLE STEP of the way through all of the uncertainty. All of our guests that stayed at the hotel were SO pleased and SO excited to come back and stay again come 2021. Thank you Golden Arrow for an incredible 2020 and can't wait to be back next year!

ex and Brandon were very accommodating, going out of their way to make sure we were provided with everything we needed, whether it be room for storage or help with first look locations. Beyond that, there was so much to do around town and the surrounding area that our guests were able to enjoy themselves as they arrived throughout the week. As I read other good reviews about the experience on the day of their wedding, I could not agree more. Our day was absolutely perfect. The forecast was for rain most of the week but Alex and Brandon continued to assure us that, no matter what, we would have a beautiful day. The rain held off and our ceremony from atop the boathouse was nothing short of spectacular! From early in the morning until the lights came on, and even during clean up, Alex and Brandon were there to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend the Golden Arrow as not only a wedding locale, but also as a place to stay all year round!!

ning and were getting married on Saturday, December 14th. Alex, Brandon, and Natasha met with us that morning to discuss some final wedding details. From that moment on, every staff member at the front desk was aware that we were the bride and groom. They helped us with all the small things like holding some bags at the front desk, providing tape, sharpies, etc. when it came to our last minute details. Alex was prompt to help us with anything we needed while we were working on set up of our space. Our "cousin Vinny" checked in on us several times and helped with anything we needed. He was so friendly to have at the resort and was willing to help us with any needs or questions we had. What I appreciated most about Alex is that she had a clear vision on what our dream day looked like. All week the weather had called for heavy rain and we planned on having our ceremony on the top of the boathouse. Both Alex and Brandon encouraged us to not let the rain get in the way if we really wanted to be outside while saying our vows. So we did just that! The night before the wedding a large group of ours went to Generations (connected to Golden Arrow) for welcome drinks and dinner. The staff in Generations were accommodating to our large group of 30 people. The day of the wedding, the rain held off. If I were to sum this up in words, I would say it was absolutely perfect and we would not change one thing about it. The bridal room we used was a dream to get ready in. It was so beautiful, and perfect for a group of 13 females (or more). Alex and Brandon checked in on me throughout the morning hours, and when it came time for the ceremony Alex was right there-- Thank you! I was so happy I even said "I do" too soon! Once the reception began Natasha was present in the evening hours. She asked us several times if we needed anything at all. To be honest I think my response each time was "I'm perfect". I couldn't think of anything because our day was everything we wanted it to be. The Four Seasons room looked stunning, the food was delicious, and our group and their dance moves were on point (thanks to Lake Placid DJ). That night when Matt and I went to our room we found a photo of us during our ceremony, and a note from the team at Golden Arrow. What a thoughtful touch and the best gift we could have received after such a special day. Thank you Golden Arrow for everything your whole team did to make us feel so special. Alex, Brandon, Natasha, front desk, and cousin Vinny this experience would not have been what it was without you. We will be back for our 1 year anniversary (and hopefully sooner). I would highly recommend Golden Arrow and this team to anyone!

day and honestly made the whole planning process flawless and easy! The few nights leading up to our wedding, Alex, Brandon and Natasha kept in contact with us to make sure everything was just right. Alex and Natasha’s attention to detail allowed me to enjoy every second of the day and live in the moment instead of worrying all day. Mostly, we were impressed by the little details and level of care from everyone at the resort; From the people setting up the banquet room to Natasha making sure the food was on point, and even the bartenders knowing our names! These are the simple things that blew me away and made us feel like family. We still get compliments on how good the food was (specifically how big and delicious the steaks were), and how it was one of the best weddings our friends and family have ever attended! Alex and the whole Golden Arrow experience was everything we could’ve wanted and more! We wouldn’t have done anything differently!
