Shaina stuck with us during the ups and downs of planning a wedding during the pandemic which included two postponements and three different dates. She was also so thoughtful about sharing her experiences from other weddings. At one point, I alerted her to some last minute (unwelcomed) changes, and received the sweetest, most encouraging note from Shaina with suggestions and kind words. It was something that probably took her a couple minutes to write but it honestly meant the world to me. Leading up to our wedding, Shaina was fantastic! She clearly outlined our timeline, set expectations and helped to ensure our plan reflected what WE wanted. During the wedding itself, Shaina understood that our priority was to spend as much time with our family and friends but didn't sacrifice getting the shots we, and our family members, wanted. We've already seen a couple sneak peeks and love what we've seen so far! Our experience with Shaina has been incredible and we would highly recommend her as a wedding photographer. There are many wedding photographers out there producing quality work, but Shaina distinguishes herself in two ways: 1. Shaina's personal touch shines through in everything she does. From our initial phone inquiry, we felt very comfortable with Shaina. She took the time to ask thoughtful questions and get to know us as a couple. Her vibe is warm and celebratory while also being calming/reassuring, which in my opinion is ideal for a wedding! She's simply a wonderful person and captured our day beautifully - both in photos and in words on her blog. She also has a couple of delightful surprises up her sleeve!  2. Her professionalism and organization throughout the whole process is top tier. Everything from the online gallery and client portal she uses, to follow up emails and planning documents, we knew we were in good hands and felt secure and confident with Shaina as our photographer. She has systems in place to ensure good communication leading up to the big day, well laid plans for any possible yet unlikely mishaps on the day of, and technical prowess for keeping photos safe and backed up. TL;DR Shaina is amazing and you should hire her as your wedding photographer!

tantly, GORGEOUS! I can't stop looking at the photos!! She did a perfect job capturing both portraits and our ceremony and mini reception. COVID has made everything challenging this year, but Shaina totally rolled with the punches and helped us have the most magical day despite the circumstances. When picking a wedding photographer, it's important to remember that you're not just getting a photographer and amazing photos, but also someone who will spend a significant amount of time with you on your wedding day, and also someone who will help you time out various events during the wedding day. Shaina has an amazing presence -- she made everyone feel calm, comfortable, and happy during the photos. We were hesitant about doing engagement photos at all, but really ended up enjoying taking them with her. She also helped us get organized for our wedding, bringing up things we hadn't thought of and offering her advice (being an expert in the area) on gray areas. Shaina had a great way of getting things done efficiently but not seeming bossy or making the day all about photos. Our guests even commented on how present but unintrusive she was throughout the day. We highly recommend Shaina if you are looking for beautiful pictures from a lovely person!

py we found her! She was so flexible and accommodating many, many times, and when we had a crazy idea for engagement photos, she was game. She was excellent working with our young kids to get great photos of them, and she captured some of everything during our day. We had a private elopement before our reception on our wedding day, and we were honored to have her there to witness our vows. We are so happy she was a part of our day! And that was before we saw the photos! They were all done before the 8 week mark, with sneak peeks much earlier, and they are GORGEOUS! Truly stunning. And yet, what I'm most grateful for is the professionalism, thoughtfulness, and humor that Shaina brought to the planning process. I think she was able to capture the feel of the day because she got to know us and what was important to us. It's clear that Shaina loves what she does and has fun doing it, and that made us feel relaxed and ourselves during our engagement shoot and at the wedding. She was patient and thoughtful in helping us finalize our timeline for photos. The experience was great from our very first conversation about the wedding!

mmer. I researched a lot of different photographers but instantly felt a connection with Shaina from our very first email. We emailed for a few months, she was very curious and open to the style of photos I was looking for, helped me research locations and even with my wardrobe--all in all she was very active, helpful and her main interest was giving me the photos/experience I wanted with my engagement pictures. In the end we had to change the date of our shoot due to weather and there was no problem, she was ready to go within a couple hours notice. The photos she took are very natural and beautiful, I honestly didn't realize we could look so good! We could not be happier with the end results and the entire process, we had an absolute blast during the shoot and felt very comfortable and natural with Shaina and have some gorgeous photos!
