I wish I had chosen a different wedding planner. I hope I can help another bride by writing this review. Cassie did not do a walk through of the venue, she did not get my timeline ...
to me or my vendors. I kept emailing her details and didn’t hear back. My dad/family had to take off work and coordinate my wedding. It took 4 months to get a full refund. I would have taken her to court if I didn’t get my money back. She’s a bubbly person and I was excited to not have to worry on my wedding day until she dropped the ball.

ving our last payment, which is due before your wedding, our wedding planner Cassie simply disappeared. She was unreachable by phone, text, and rarely responded to our emails. After missing the walk through with our florist, which we had to help coordinate, red flags went up. Two weeks before our wedding day, our vendors had not received an update from Cassie or a final wedding timeline. Throughout the process, Cassie missed multiple deadlines, offered little to no communication, and often times left us and our wedding vendors in the dark. As a result, Cassie was fired two weeks before our wedding. Her contract says absolutely no refunds, but lucky for us, we documented every phone call, text message and email, outlining the multiple items where she was in breach of her own contract. Avoiding court, we settled on receiving half our payment back, which took months to receive. Avoid Golden Dot Events at all costs.
