Golden Eagle Country Club

reason we chose to go with Golden Eagle. She made it all worth it. The food was awesome, the facility gorgeous (on a lake and golf course) and the value was hands down the best compared to most of the other venues we interviewed in Tallahassee. I would highly recommend using Golden Eagle for your wedding venue!

She is outstanding in the wedding industry; she makes sure everything runs as smoothly and stree-free as possible! What a life-saver she is! I handled all of my own wedding planning/designing/coordinating...but when it came to the week of and the actual day of the wedding...I don't know what we would've done without her! I can honestly say that she, single-handedly, had a huge part in the success of our wedding day. Golden Eagle is the perfect place to get married...and to have your reception, too! All of my guests are still ranting and raving over the setting and the whole ambiance of the facilities. The price is far below the other popular wedding venues in the area...AND they actually include most of the major essentials! It is the most perfect package! You do have to use their catering staff, which we weren't too sure about at first. However...we set up a tasting...and our whole family (with some picky eaters) loved everything! We were so shocked by how outstanding their food was! That's another thing our guests have been raving over is how amazing the food was! Honestly, we have not had anyone say anything bad about their experience at our wedding...and we have absolutely no complaints either! Golden Eagle is an outstanding venue..and they have a backup plan IN CASE OF RAIN!!! Definitely important in this area to have that backup option available to you! We used their facilities for literally everything on wedding day...getting ready and all. Everything ran so smoothly. You get such outstanding service and quality...you literally won't believe how amazing a deal you're getting!!! Many options and things to choose from for meals...full bar available...just wow! I could go on and on about how wonderful Golden Eagle and Michelle Griggs are, but I will let you go visit and see for yourself how true all of this is! :)

The only negative thing I can say is there was a wedding at 11am the same day as mine so it was somewhat disorganized when we came to set up at the time we were told. Not a huge deal though!
