I knew I needed Jerod as our videographer after watching one of his videos for two minutes and he was even more amazing than I could’ve ever imagined! He was an absolute pleasure to work with and hang out for so much of our wedding day and the videos he gave us were even better. The teaser came so fast and we truly couldn’t love our full wedding video more!! The day goes by so fast, it is so nice to have something so special capture the best memories so you can relive it over and over again. When the time came for Kayla & I to begin seeking out videographers for our wedding- of course I was going to be picky. Quality of work, passion for the craft, and personality were major factors I looked out for. The day I came across Golden Hour Visuals on Instagram, I knew that I had found the right man for the job. I honestly do not know where to begin in this review of Jerod. Jerod’s talent and unique eye for capturing the detailed, intimate moments that culminate into the biggest day of your life is unparalleled. One of my coworkers had worked with Jerod during her wedding and after I saw her teaser trailer I was sold on his creative style. On the day of our wedding, Jerod was a constant calming presence. He and our photographer worked seamlessly together to capture every moment all while making the process lighthearted and easy. Jerod is timely, professional, calm, and fun! I can’t say enough good things about him and his work; snag him now before it’s too late!

Videography is one of those things that you get mixed feedback about--whether or not it's really needed. But let me tell you, I am so utterly happy we decided to get a videographer. The day literally goes by in the blink of an eye. You spend months/years planning and it goes by so quickly and there are so many moments you miss--like your partner getting ready, your flower girl walking down the aisle, your bridal party dancing into the reception. These are moments that yes, you'll get in photos, but there's something to be said about seeing it in live action. The video that Jerod captures is everything you want to see in the day--of course the highlights, like your first look, your partner's reaction as you walk down the aisle, your first dance--but it's much more than that. Jerod captured our looks towards each other, the scenery, the details that you planned for months and months (here's looking at you centerpieces), and moments with your grandfather and your mom dancing with you. I could go on and on. I've already watched our video an embarrassing amount of times and every time I'm just blown away by his skill. I thought I would hate seeing myself on film and he just made the whole process so comfortable--you didn't even realize he was there much of the time Book Jerod. You'll not only get a guy who is passionate about his work but an artist who will turn your wedding into a masterpiece.

Very professional and included everything we wanted in the video and then some. We absolutely love our video! We have received so many compliments on the video from various friends and family. I am so thankful that we have this to look back on for years to come!

Jerod is an incredible videographer & creator. My husband and I had never met him prior to booking him but saw his work and felt confident. When we spoke to him he asked us what we wanted captured for our day and we told him all of our thoughts, he went above and beyond. He truly amazed us and captured our wedding so beautifully. I watch our video so much that I can actually tell you line for line/ which clip comes next because I memorized it. It’s so good, I can’t help it! Hahaha! Thank you Jerod. Jerod from Golden Hour Visuals does a phenomenal job and is so talented!! Since we were coming from out of town, Jerod took the time to FaceTime with us before the wedding to find out what our vision was for the video. I emailed him a bunch of information about the timeline of the day before the wedding and he took it all into consideration and did such a great job! He was professional and easy to work with on the day of the wedding as well. He was super flexible with our timeline and the rain on our wedding day. He knew exactly what to do! He caught every moment that I asked for and more! The final product is so amazing and such a great reminder of our wedding day! He included everything that we asked him to put in the video and captured it all so beautifully. Jerod also was great with communication and letting me know what to expect and when to expect it! We got a video teaser on our honeymoon which was super fun and he also let us know when to expect the full film. He even offered us a few upgrades/bonuses. We received an awesome video along with footage of the toasts, the ceremony, and my husband reading a letter to me all for such a reasonable price. Golden Hour Visuals definitely exceeded our expectations! We couldn’t be happier with our video and are so glad that we got to work with Jerod!!

My husband and I almost decided not to get a videographer for our wedding... what a mistake that would have been!!! Jerod was amazing to work with-- so easy to talk to and coordinate with, super responsive, and SO talented. We have watched our wedding videos over and over since our big day and they never cease to make us both tear up and smile and laugh. My husband and I are beyond glad we hired Jerod to be our wedding videographer! He arrived early the day of the wedding to get shots of the property and everyone getting ready. He was very professional and captured the day so beautifully without ever interfering with what was going on. Parts of our film look like he was in two places at once! Our wedding day went by so fast and its great to have both the shorter and longer films (we went with the short film package). Everyone we've shared our video with has commented on the high quality of the video and how great he captured the emotions of the day. Highly highly recommended!

Jerod did my cousin Jessie's wedding video in Virginia in June 2016. I wasn't planning on having a videographer for my June 2017 wedding but after seeing Jessie and Joey's wedding video Jerod made I immediately changed my mind and Jerod traveled all the way to NJ for our wedding. We are so grateful that we chose Jerod because he captures all the feels and more! Our wedding was such an emotional whirlwind and went so so fast. I am so glad we have our wedding video that captured how we were feeling that day, it's something we will treasure for a lifetime. Jerod was with us all day long (getting ready through the very end of the night) but most of the time you didn't even realize that he was there because he is so polite and respectful of everyone's space and time. There were maybe 1-2 times throughout the day he asked us to do something specific for a shot but the rest was all candid and we loved that. After the wedding he sent us a teaser that we got to see during our honeymoon which we also LOVED. When we got back he worked with us to create our video and was open to all the feedback we gave him and made small changes until the video was everything we hoped it would be and more! Jerod is so talented, and such a nice guy to work with and have with you during the most important day of your life. He is also very reasonably priced and worth every penny! You will be so happy with your choice to hire him to make your wedding video dreams come true!
