Golden Hours was the best decision I made for my wedding!! Our photos went well above our expectations and were loved by many. My photographer Lauren was amazing to work with and captured exactly what I wanted. Dana was so warm and friendly from our initial call until the very end. I had dozens and dozens of previews sent by her just a few days after the wedding, capturing a little bit of everything. My full album was delivered so quick as well. I would recommend working with Dana and Golden Hours to anyone! Their style and editing was exactly what I was looking for.

Professional, friendly, creative, communicative...honestly, they are a VIBE!!! They're so fun and easy to be around, which puts the bridal party at ease, and makes for incredible, candid photos of real moments. Dana and her group from Dana Ann/Golden Hours were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We had a destination wedding in Cancun and were admittedly a little nervous having to coordinate bringing people from the states but they could not have made the process more smooth. We did videography with her group and they captured our wedding weekend so beautifully. They made us feel so comfortable while capturing some of the most intimate moments of the weekend. The best part was that they hung out with us and joined in on the festivities with us during "off times" which made us feel closer to them like they were friends at our wedding who happened to also be excellent videographers. We go back and watch our wedding videos every once in a while with family/friends and everyone who has seen it talks about how great of a job they did. We could not recommend them more!

Golden Hours/Dana Ann did a fantastic job at our wedding! They were a preferred vendor at our venue, and it was nice to work with people that have done weddings there and could offer helpful suggestions. Their entire team was so easy to work with and made the whole process simple (specifically Ashlyn and Braxton did a great job as lead photographer/videographer). I knew after the engagement shoot with Ashlyn that we definitely wanted them for the wedding - our engagement photos were absolutely beautiful. Our wedding phots turned out beautiful as well, and I was truly blown away by how AMAZING our video highlight reel turned out. They were definitely one of the pricier vendors we looked at, but I don’t regret splurging on this at all.

The entire staff at Golden Hours Photography (nee Dana Ann Photography) are truly the best in the business. Dana herself is a herculean planner and strategist who can easily ascertain your photo and video needs. We were also fortunate enough to have her jump in as lead photographer on the day of our wedding due to an illness, and she single-handedly saved the day AND got incredible photos of us. She kept things speedy and fun, and our entire bridal party loved her enthusiasm, humor, and prodigious talent! The rest of the staff lived up to Dana's reputation! Everyone was so fun to work with and easy to be around, which is paramount to engineering a great experience for all involved. You know you've got great people on your team when the groomsmen are sad that the photographers and videographers are leaving for the night! We cannot recommend Dana and her crew enough. They will make you look and feel like supermodels on your best day ever, and keep you laughing throughout. HIRE THEM! 10/10 would recommend!

Dana at Dana Ann Photography/Golden Hours is the most amazing human and photographer! We started working with her for our engagement shoot where she made us feel so comfortable. She was then a true MVP when she was willing to capture our wedding day on May 30, 2020 when COVID-19 was just getting started. We had to change all of our plans last minute to a small intimate wedding with only immediate family. Her energy and positivity helped get us through a very chaotic time, allowing us to still enjoy every moment of getting married. It was then the cherry on top to find out she could be our photographer for our NYE wedding celebration this year! She captured my dream wedding photos along the lake (I asked for artsy negative space photos and she delivered)! Her videography team is also made up of positive and creative individuals. On top of all that, we used her for our photo booth at the reception, which our guests loved! We are so grateful to have worked with Dana for all of our wedding celebrations! 10/10 recommend!

I could not rate Golden Hours/ Dana Ann high enough! Our experience with the entire team was fantastic start to finish. I loved having our engagement shoot with Lauren (who absolutely NAILED it btw) because both my husband & I are not super comfortable in front of the camera. She did a great job at putting us at ease & also getting to know us & our style so that the wedding shots would be perfect. The photos themselves from the engagement shoot & wedding are GORGEOUS & I love the creativity that Lauren brought to them. In addition to being aces behind the camera, communication with the team was easy & they were very quick to respond. Absolutely loved working with Dana & Lauren!

We LOVED working with Dana and her team. She was so helpful and accommodating to work with throughout the whole planning process. They really listened and made us feel so comfortable. We love all our photos and cannot recommend them enough!

My husband and I got married April 2021 (after postponing twice due to Covid) and looking back, booking Dana and her team was the BEST decision we made. Dana was so accommodating and supportive with our date changes due to Covid. I am a graphic designer and my husband is an architect so admittedly we are quite picky when it comes to style and quality. We were looking for an editorial style for our photos, something that captured the day without feeling too staged. Dana surpassed all of our expectations and I am in awe of the gorgeous photos she captured (even with our rainy day wedding). Dana was positive, beyond helpful, and made me feel so comfortable and special on my big day! Her obvious joy for life and photography shines through her work. We just got married yesterday and I’m already writing this review, so that’s gotta tell you something! Jesse, Lauren, and Ashlynn were so great, made us feel so comfortable and seemed genuinely excited to be a part of our day!!! It was rainy, the plans changed a million times, we were behind schedule, and more... They rolled with EVERY punch!!! I literally have no fear about how these photos will turn out because they were so on top of it all day/night! Not to mention how flexible Dana Ann & her team were when we needed to reschedule our wedding due to covid. SO responsive and helpful. She even gave us directions and tips on how to set up zoom for our virtual guests! Amazing people all around. Thank you all so much!!!

Dana is AMAZING! My fiance and I loved working with Dana, it was always like talking to a friend when we would email or jump on the phone! She took our engagement photos in October on the coldest day in Chicago and was awesome with telling us had to pose and making the photoshoot so natural! We even brought our crazy Goldendoodle and she was so patient with her. On our wedding day we had Dana and Ashlyn - they are the dream team!! Our family and friends loved working with them just as much has we did! They made taking hours of photos fun for all of us! We got a few preview photos back, we are in LOVE and cannot wait to see the rest of them! Thank you for capturing our dream wedding and the love Josh and I share!!

Go With DANA! Dana's artistic and fun photos on Instagram first caught our eye. Getting to know her over the past year has been a great joy as she brought energy, excitement, creativity, and captured our love for each other as a couple. We can't recommend her enough!!! Here are a few things we considered for our photographer when getting married and how our experience was with Dana. 1. Will the photos look as cool for our wedding as other couples Dana has shot so beautifully? 100%. We did our engagement photos and wedding photos with Dana. Most important to us she caught our love along with our goofiness. There are Many Many photos that we got from working with Dana that we will have in frames in our home for decades. 2. Will we feel comfortable with this person pointing a camera at us all day? This is one of those questions that is in the back of the mind of most couples. Trust me - you will really enjoy Dana. She is a perfect mix of creative / passionate about her work and fun / chill. She is not overly demanding but instead makes subtle thoughtful suggestions and has in the back of her mind what the overall vision is for the shoot. She also understands how to get the job done - this is essential as weddings are chaotic. We felt like Dana was part of our wedding and really enjoyed spending time with her. 3. Will it be too expensive? Dana is fairly priced. Her work is extremely good and I think her fees are 100% worth it. In my opinion this is Not an area where you want to go cheap (you'll have these photos for forever). There's also a Huge amount that goes on behind the scenes by Dana - coordinating, editing photos (she took about 3k), traveling, scheduling, payments and much more. 4. Will the logistics of the experience go well? Here's an example of how Dana went above and beyond. We needed a last minute Day Of Coordinator and Dana found us Laura from Fierce Productions within 24 hours. Laura was a god-send and we have Dana to thank for making that intro. Just like Dana, Laura was highly attentive to details and relaxed / fun to be around. Do it! Go with Dana! You won't regret it.

We could not be happier with the photos and videos that Dana and team took from our recent wedding. Choosing a wedding photographer and videographer was one of the most important things for us when we started the wedding planning process, since we knew that's what we would be left with when the wedding day was over. We looked at several different vendors, but everything paled in comparison to Dana's work - all of her photos tell a story in such a beautiful, detailed, artistic way that leaves a lasting impression. Dana was incredibly knowledge in helping us plan out a schedule and all the logistics for the big day, before we even booked with her. On the day of the wedding, Dana and her team were a perfect balance of professional and fun - putting us all at ease and fitting naturally alongside us during the day's events, without being too intrusive. Dana was incredibly patient with our large group and with travelling all around the city and suburbs for photos. She even sent us a few sneak-peak photos on the wedding day, which was a great keepsake to have while we waited for all of the professional pictures to come back. When Dana sent us a link to the full set of pictures only one month after the wedding day (!) we found ourselves in love with every one of the hundreds and hundreds of pictures. Every picture individually was beautiful, and we were amazed at how flawlessly she had captured the most special moments throughout the day. The pictures stand out in a unique way that not many other photographers can do. And the wedding highlights video that we got a few months later perfectly told the story of not just our wedding day but also our relationship, and evoked all of the best feelings and experiences of the day all over again. Zach and I met Dana for an introduction meeting last year in a cozy booth at Soho House. Dana made us feel comfortable and confident in her abilities right off the bat. You can tell from her portfolio, she has incredible range, and is able to capture the happiest day of your life the way YOU envision it. She listened to our ideas, and provided suggestions and guidance where we weren't sure what we wanted. She is sweet, talented and hard-working. Thank you so much Dana!

Dana is a class act! Her skills are on a completely different level. Her staff is extremely professional, but laid back and fun at the same time. My wedding was this past weekend and my husband and I absolutely love her work. We are still getting compliments on our engagement shoot over a year ago to this day! Go with Dana if you want unique and gorgeous shots that capture the most intimate moments. She doesn't disappoint!

I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. Dana was so professional, hard working, but also so easy to get along with. For the wedding she ended up bringing a second photographer named Stephen and, just like Dana, he was kind, professional, and hard working. The most important piece of the wedding are the photographs and I feel so lucky that I got 2 amazing photographers to capture the day.

Dana made the entire experience of being photographed comfortable, memorable and fun. Her photos come out amazing, and she is incredibly receptive to feed back on personal preferences. She is pleasant to interact with, professional and polite. I have literally no complaints about her. Everyone loved her at the wedding as well, she was non-intrusive as was the rest of her crew.

Dana was our best vendor to work with. She made it so easy to take photos and she was very professional. We did two sessions with her and both were a lot of fun. I would highly recommend her!

Dana was the perfect photographer for us! We found Dana Ann Photography through a friend of a friend, and SO glad we did! She was easy to work with, has a great artistic style that I loved, and we've gotten SO many compliments on our pictures! (Wedding was in May 2012, 5 months ago). She got our pictures to us in a timely manner, and got so many really cool shots! I didn't go bridezilla until just before the ceremony started, and she really helped me calm down and have a great time! We talked about our style beforehand, and she came up with great ideas! Sparklers, Scrabble tiles, meeting the groom for reveal shots before the ceremony with bridesmaids peeking around the corner - so cool! I definitely recommend Dana Ann to anyone looking for a good, reasonably priced photographer!

Dana is a wonderful photographer, especially for just starting her business! She has great ideas for shots that turn out amazing! Her prices are reasonable and a great price for the wonderful memories you will keep forever!
