I am so thankful we hired Golden Note for our wedding!!!!! We hired Gerry as our officiant, MC, and DJ and couldn’t be more happy with how FUN our wedding was!! Gerry is the kindest man you will ever speak to. He checked in with us multiple times throughout the wedding planning process just to see how we were doing and always offered words of encouragement. As the officiant, Gerry performed a beautiful ceremony keeping things light hearted and paced wonderfully!! He made it personal to us and kept it romantic. As the MC and DJ Gerry killed it!!!!!!!!! We were able to make a must play list of songs that he then ran with! Our guests LOVED it!!!!! The dance floor was crowded the entire night! I’m still sore from dancing too much! We had so many guests come up to us and say “wow I love this guy” and honestly, agreed. Gerry you’re the best! We also hired golden note for our Photo Booth and Jillian and the team crushed it! They made us a cute scrapbook that our guests could sign as well as made sure we got copies of all the prints. You will not regret hiring Golden Note. I would book Gerry and the team time and time again if I had to do it all over!

Cannot say enough good things about this company! Our wedding venue recommended Gerry and it was so easy from the moment we booked. Leading up to the event they hooked us up with a portal to add songs and details, and they checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was good with planning. Our event was a true hit- we told Gerry we wanted to dance the night away and we did just that! At several points in the night I checked the seated area and literally nobody was sitting down. The night was incredible and Gerry was the absolute best. I recommend him and Golden Note fully and will absolutely be using them again

From the first meeting with Gerry we knew Golden Note was the perfect fit for our day and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our decision. From the ceremony to the music everything was seamless and allowed us to enjoy the day with out any stress. The ceremony could not have been better. Gerry has been a long-time friend of my husband's family. He has MC'd for Corey's mother's wedding, her vow renewal and countless other parties. When it came time to pick a MC for our wedding, our wedding planner introduced us to a couple options but none of them seemed to be the one. They were nice but we wanted to really connect with the person who would be responsible for making our reception a true party and celebration, so we reached out to Gerry. After our first conversation with him, we knew Gerry was the one for us and it became clear why Corey's family hired him over and over again for their important life events. Gerry understood exactly what our goals were for the whole wedding and the reception and he and his team implemented everything without a single mishap. He was able to create the perfect balance of ceremony and party all while keeping us the main focus of the evening. He is a true professional and a forever family friend and we are certain you will be beyond happy if you choose him for your wedding as well.

Gerry and the team at Golden Note Entertainment were fabulous to work with from start to finish for our wedding on September 28, 2024. The planning process was easy with the online planning portal and Gerry and his team stayed in consistent communication. Our meetings were through Zoom which was super convenient and I don't have to worry about keeping track of dates and deadlines as they emailed reminders and sent emails to check up on the planning process. On the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly. Gerry was fantastic! We weren't picky with specific songs we wanted for the reception and left it to Gerry and his team to read the room and play the songs they thought would fit. We were incredibly happy with the songs and the volume - our venue was smaller and the volume was perfect for the space. We highly recommend Gerry and his team. They were easy to work with and very accommodating!

Gerry and the Golden Note were amazing. They brought high energy, class, and lots of fun to our reception. Gerry treated us like family, adjusted quickly when things needed to change, and stayed engaged with us and our guests throughout the night. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

Hiring GoldenNote for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! A friend referred GoldenNote and we not only used them as our DJ, but also Gerry served as our officiant. Gerry as our officiant delivered a spectacular and heartfelt ceremony that captured ur vision of having both Jewish and Filipino elements. I highly recommend choosing Golden Note Entertainment for your wedding or event. Gerry and his team at Golden Note made helped make our wedding so incredibly special. My friends and family are still RAVING about the music and the DJ three weeks later!!!! We had a meeting with Gerry about a year before our wedding to get a feel for if we were the right vibe. We could tell right away that he indeed was! On our initial call, he listened to all of our ideas that we had for our wedding and had such a wonderful conversation with us. I love that he really took the time to listen to us and get to know us right from the start before we'd even agreed to hire his team. We loved his wonderful energy and knew this would be the perfect fit. We were absolutely correct because Gerry is the perfect example of someone who is dedicated to his profession. He would frequently check in with us via email or text to see how things were going which was so thoughtful. He even sent us shirts with the Golden Note Entertainment Logo!! We loved how easy the portal was to use to plan out our ceremony and reception. Gerry met with us a few weeks before our wedding to make sure that we were all on the same page, he went through all of our song selections with us and made a list of things we still needed to fix or change. His office made sure to follow up frequently and he did as well. The night of the wedding (what really matters!!), he brought the best energy and a wonderful team to help him out. (Talin & Danielle THANKS GUYS!!) They all worked so hard to ensure our night was so special. My husband and I had choreographed our first dance and our DJ took time to make sure that it was going to go exactly as planned and it did. We are so happy that we picked Golden Note Entertainment as they went above and beyond to make our wedding the best night for us.

We loved using Golden Note for our wedding. They were organized and very responsive to any emails/messages sent. Jim, our DJ, was awesome and really funny. He really listened to what we wanted for our wedding. The dance floor was never empty. The photo booth was also a big hit at our wedding. I love how they printed out an extra copy of each picture to put in a book where people signed. After the wedding it was funny to look back at all the fun pictures people took and the messages they wrote to us. Lastly, we had Jillian as our officiant for the ceremony. We met with her before the wedding and she really took the time to get to know us as a couple. It really showed when we heard the final speech on our wedding day. It was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Overall, we had a lovely experience using Golden Note for our wedding.

Gerry and his team are so much fun, and they really made everyone in my bridal party feel so comfortable. Guests were raving about the music all night! Gerry even helped my friend who was officiating the wedding, by making sure she knew exactly how the wedding certificate needed to be filled out and every step in the process. I met with several DJs before hiring Golden Note Entertainment. Golden Note stuck out to me because they were so easy to talk to and were 'no frills'. While Golden Note Entertainment offers a wide variety of bells and whistles at a great price, I wanted plain and simple for my wedding. Just some good music and a good personality for my guests and they more than delivered that! They didn't try to upsell me like other DJs or try to put me down by saying I'm a "very basic bride". They were very professional from the minute I spoke with the owner Gerry, all the way until the end my wedding. They sent emails throughout the process just checking in and with fun countdowns to the big day. Jillian, who is the office manager is also AMAZING! She was so helpful in answering questions through the process and helped me navigate and understand the portal to input my wedding details and music. She was also just a really kind person who listened and helped take the stress off of me during the wedding planning process. Jim was our DJ. He was awesome and so much fun! He really took the time to learn about us as a couple and brought so much energy the night of the wedding! We have guests asking us who we had for a DJ because they were so incredible. I can't recommend them enough!

Gerry and his team are the real deal! We hired him and his team for our wedding and couldn’t be happier. To start, his officiant services are incredible. Everyone complimented him numerous times throughout the night and said they never heard such an impactful ceremony. We were amazed how he was about to piece it all together without much direction from us. To say Gerry’s team are simply DJs would discredit the work they really do. They are really a production team. From the Photo Booth, saxophone player, MCs to lighting it’s amazing how it all comes together perfectly. The team kept everyone on the dance floor all night (we couldn’t even believe it) and mixed the music perfectly. If you want a fun wedding (our biggest fear) you have to hire Gerry and his team. Get the saxophone player too, you won’t regret it. Besides the amazing work, Gerry is an awesome person and the type of “vendor” you’ll want around you on your special day. It was like he was part of the family when he really only met everyone an hour prior and trust me this is not an easy task. He was kind enough to meet with us multiple times to go through every single detail. I would recommend all of his services to everyone.

The Golden Note team was incredible to work with, and everyone was professional and friendly. Jillian was very responsive and transparent throughout all of our planning, and helped us answer a ton of questions. Juan was our MC and helped us figure out the flow of the reception and understood exactly what music we wanted. We had so many guests compliment the DJ and the music at the wedding, and we all had such a blast dancing at the reception. A huge thank you to everyone at Golden Note!

The staff at Golden Note are amazing from the moment you inquire about their services til after your event is over! I cannot begin to sum up how perfect Gerry and Golden Note made our wedding day. From the beautifully delivered ceremony music, to the cocktail hour through the reception, Gerry gave us a night we will never forget. Starting with a custom song switch to surprise my father and high energy keeping our guests (and bride and groom!) on the floor all night, the lights, dancing on the clouds and cold sparkling fountains, we felt like something out of a movie. Thank you so much for not only understanding what we were looking for, but also for knowing what we couldn't even communicate and giving us the most memorable and magical night. We used Golden Note Entertainment to DJ our small wedding this fall at the W Hotel in Hoboken. Gerry also served as our officiant. In both roles, Gerry and his team were consummate professionals. We were impressed with his thoroughness and attention to detail in every step of the process. He helped us to create a thoughtful wedding ceremony, and he handled some external difficulties at the wedding site with aplomb. We also entrusted him completely to read the room and play to the crowd, which he did wonderfully. Working with Golden Note was a great pleasure and we are happy to recommend them.

The golden note team was amazing! They were very responsive especially Jillian! Everyone on the team was so nice and helpful and they really appealed to the crowd which is what we wanted! Everyone said our wedding was the BEST Wedding they've been too! they were even very accommodating to make our day the best for us. We asked if they can play extra photos and videos in memory of our parents and they were more than accommodating. I would definitely recommend Golden Note they made our day absolutely perfect!!

We are so very grateful for your expertise when we weren't sure what songs to choose for various parts of the evening. Throughout our wedding, we had a variety of hiccups on our part, everything from needing to replace a groomsman last minute due to a hurricane stranding them in FL, to changes in the timeline, adjustments to the bridal party entrances, adjustments to our tea ceremony, and more Gerry and his team handled it all in stride! What a wonderful experience it was working with Golden Note Entertainment. From my first contact with Jillian to our event, the team was personable yet professional, client-oriented and not pushy, reliable and responsive. The website was organized and enabled us to easily communicate our plan. Our event was a bit unusual in that it was an informal post-elopement wedding celebration for our son and his wife, not a formal wedding reception. Bill G., the DJ, was delightfully accommodating, addressing all of our somewhat unusual requests, maintaining the atmosphere that we wanted in both his involvement and the music played. I thank them all for helping us have such a fun party to share our joy with our family and friends.

When they say "welcome to the golden note family," they mean it. From the very first phone call I had with Jillian and Gerry I knew I was talking to my type of people.  Throughout the months of planning and many phone calls back-and-forth,  I always felt like I was speaking to my friends. They were consistently helpful not only with ideas and coordinating my wedding day seamlessly, but Jillian is a great source of knowledge for all types of wedding vendors - I found my photographer through her recommendation! After speaking with Gerry, I was immediately at ease, so much so that I gave him free range for my big day and put all of my trust in him, after all he is a pro! He did not disappoint, let me tell you!!!!! He exceeded all of my expectations and had the majority of the guests up and dancing all night long. He helped me pull off my surprise song choice for my ceremony entrance, and then the tables turned and he had a surprise for me himself. My parents had called him, unbeknownst to me, and changed the song for the Father-Daughter dance. I will never forget the words he said when he announced to the room filled with 180 people that mean the world to me that he and my parents were in cahoots. It was the most emotional part of the day for me, and my very favorite, even though I was in tears (yes, full blown ugly crying y'all.) Then it occurred to me that my favorite moments wouldn't have existed had I not given this God of a DJ and entertainer all of my trust. If you're thinking about hiring Golden Note for your big day, this is your sign - don't think twice, DO IT! I cannot thank Gerry and Jillian enough for helping me pull of the wedding of my dreams, nor can I say enough about how truly incredible they are; not just at their craft, but on a personal level as well, this business is run by the best damned people around. We are so happy we chose Gerry from Golden Note to be our officiant, DJ, and do the uplighting for our wedding. The planning process was easy, they use an online planning portal to keep all your wedding details organized. We had several zoom meetings to go over all details and questions. He came highly recommended by 2 of my friends whose wedding he DJ’d, so we knew we were in good hands. Our guests raved about how funny he was and how unique and personal our wedding ceremony was. He kept things on schedule and really felt out the crowd making great music choices, taking guest requests, and playing a lot of the songs we had requested as well. A great wedding DJ/officiant is one with lots of experience, which Gerry absolutely has. You will not regret booking with Golden Note!!!

Perfect as an officiant and MC w/ DJ. The greatest experience one could ask for in a time of confusion and overabundance of information. Gerry and his staff made the entire process flow so easily and everyone had the greatest of time from the ceremony to the last dance. Golden note is amazing, they made everything so incredibly easy! Gerry and the team at golden note are amazing. We hired them for everything from dj, lighting, entertainment to officiant. We could not ask for a better team. Jillian was easy to plan with and gave us great advice from the beginning. Gerry was an awesome officiant and mc, he was funny and really cared about how everything was going. A few days after the wedding we received all the photos from the photo booth as well as all the zap photos, this was a great surprise while we wait for the photos from the photographer.

Gerry is great! So helpful and so organized. They set the tone with the ceremony and finished it off with the reception. Everyone was dancing and stayed dancing. Gerry was great and asked questions that I never even thought of and helped us out with little things such as even telling my fiance to keep his jacket on for cake cutting for better photos. 10/10 person and 10/10 company!

THE BEST!! We booked with Golden Note after experiencing the awesomeness at my sister's wedding in 2018. We got the pleasure of working with Gerry and he absolutely CRUSHED IT! We booked Golden Note for our photo booth and our guests had a BLAST. Bri and Jillian were amazing attendants for the photo booth, encouraged everyone to get in and take tons of photos, and put together a book of all of the strips of photos. I also loved getting the digital copies of all of the photos (for the photos that guests didn't like enough to book in the book... usually the most hilarious ones!). Definitely book Golden Note!

My husband and I couldn’t recommend GoldenNote more. Every staff member is wonderful and made our planning process seamless. The week of the wedding they reached out to our venue to work out final details so I wouldn’t have to worry about it. Gerry is the best! He knows how to get a party started and keep it that way. There was never a time at our reception the dance floor was empty and people weren’t having a great time. My guests are still talking about fun our dance floor was.

Golden Note was amazing. Planning was simple. Communication was always there. The night was everything I ever wanted. Music is key to the success of the wedding and we told Gerry a few things about what we did and didn’t want and he went with it. He read the crowd and played what they liked and danced to and even checked in with me often when someone requested something to make sure I was ok playing it. They were great and I would recommend them to everyone !!!

The music was extremely important to us because that really helps determine the mood of the crowd. From the beginning, Jillian and team were amazing at communicating. They sent emails on time, responding promptly, and overall we’re extremely friendly. Before the wedding it was nice to have time to connect with Gerry to align on the different aspects of our weddings (I.e,. What music we like, how we want the reception schedule organized etc.) I am extremely organized and wanted a clear plan for us to stick to, but ultimately I knew that Golden Note are the experts. We explained that we had a lively group coming to the wedding to to really feed off of the energy from them. During the pre meeting we agreed to have the dancing start right after dinner because that was the most fun part In our eyes. At the wedding, Gerry make a last minute decision to start the dancing right away. It MADE the night!! I am getting thank yous written to me detailing how much fun people had and how the DJ “was absolutely amazing”. This professional move by Gerry made our night and experience more amazing than we could have ever imagined. I would recommend them 20x over.

Gerry and the team from Golden Note made our wedding beyond amazing. The music fit our taste and had everyone on the dance floor! The photobooth was great addition and we have all the pictures to look back on. They made planning easy and were always available if we had any questions.

Golden Note Entertainment was an absolute 10/10 from the initial meeting to the end of our wedding! There was no detail overlooked and they absolutely crushed it! Gerry and his crew made out entire day flawless and SO much fun! GNE is second to none!!

Jeff had everyone on the dance floor the entire night! We had a great time and he even got our grandma's dancing! Jillian was also such a pleasure to work with in the planning process and extremely responsive. We would definitely recommend.

We hired Golden Note Entertainment for our wedding on April 23rd for both our ceremony and reception. From our first interactions with Jillian, we knew that Golden Note was the right company for us! Jillian was very professional and had our best interest in mind, not sales! She made recommendations on waiting to add extras until we had a better understanding of what our “dance floor” would look like due to the pandemic. That conversation (and genuine care) stood out in our minds and was the sole reason that we decided to go with Golden Note. Let me tell you – they did not disappoint! Their online portal was easy to navigate and allowed us the time to thoroughly think through our song choices. During the meeting with our MC (Juan), we could see he did his research beforehand and familiarized himself with our music choices and form. This confirmed going into our wedding day, that we did indeed make the right choice putting our wedding in their care. Come the wedding day, Juan and Gerry were an amazing duo! They brought the excitement and energy we wanted and had the “social gathering spot” partying the whole night! They were not only able to handle our crazy requests of blending two very different songs seamlessly for our first dance, but also our very eclectic taste in music. Our guests still can’t stop talking about how great our music was! We highly recommend this company for your next event! They made the night so perfect for every single person in the room! Gerry knows how to get a crowd going, and with the circumstances we are in he read the room, and was able to find the balance of enjoying music from all over! From Day 1, Gerry was on board with everything we wanted and all of our guests were raving on how good the music was, from the ceremony to the reception. We cannot thank them enough for still making this wedding fun and got people to enjoy themselves even from their seats!
