Alternatively, Tia can guide you through the preservation process at home or you can ship overnight . She can create a number of different items, including pressed flowers in frames, resin coasters, dishes, and more.

I remember the first wedding cake I made, the first wedding I served at, the one I catered on my own, and the time I washed dishes with a hose and a bucket while belting out Whitney Houston with my coworkers. I remember glimpses of every wedding I’ve ever worked, every flower arrangement I’ve made, and every centerpiece I’ve thrown away at the end of the evening. Until I stopped throwing them away and I started putting the forgotten bouquets upside down in a closet, then testing them in the oven, and then taking a chance on silica. I became obsessed with the ways a flower can be preserved.
