Golden with Light

I’m Jess, the photographer behind Golden with Light. I pretty much pinch myself every day that I get to go out and photograph one of you. I feel so lucky to be trusted by the families, the couples, the kids, the small business owners, the individuals that allow me into their space, sharing themselves with me. It’s not easy, I know. As a photographer I’m one part documentarian, one part guide, one part observer, one part enthusiast, one part dreamer and wholly an artist. My background in photography includes a fine art photography degree from Bard College, in New York's Hudson Valley. I currently live in Maine and cover New England and beyond as a portrait, wedding and commercial photographer. My portrait work focuses on bringing out your beautiful self in all your authenticity. My wedding work caters toward the upscale, untraditional and love-inspired brides and grooms out there (you know who you are). My commercial work honors the grit that every small business owner has in their blood. I’m so glad you found me and can’t wait to work with you.
