As a planner, this was my first time working with a live musician. Goldenwood Ensembles was prompt in communication, asked good clarifying questions and their cellist was perfectly timed. The cellist's music was absolutely beautiful. I will continue to recommend them to my clients!

During the pre-wedding engagement Krysia was engaging, responsive and flexible. I especially appreciated her professional help putting a music program together that fit the prelude and ceremony. The day of the wedding did not disappoint. Kyrsia, Graybert, and Christina made for a beautiful flute, violin, and cello trio. They nailed it. My daughter was in tears (of happiness) afterwards when she thanked us for the ceremony music.

Goldenwood was super easy to work with and were amazing throughout the process and on the big day. We asked them for a "special" request of an arrangement of a Coldplay song and they killed it! From the start to finish they were responsive and helpful and easy to communicate with. We appreciated their professionalism and performance and you will too!

Krysia and Bill provided the most beautiful guitar and flute ensemble for my daughter’s wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Krysia was extremely communicative in the months leading up to the big day, and because of that, everything went smoothly. The musical selections were beautiful and varied, and they enhanced the emotional experience of the day.

Ben’s cello music brought a personal, elegant touch to our indoor winter wedding. He was a huge hit with the guests and he made the ceremony feel extra special and intimate. He played all of my music choices and was really great to work with. I was flattered that he liked my choice of Bach Cello Suite No. 4!

We hired a string duo for our ceremony. They did a great job! Krysia helped coordinate leading up to our wedding and was super helpful and professional. They were recommended by my venue and I am very pleased we went with them!

I could gush endlessly about our experience with Goldenwood Ensembles, and I know my review won't capture everything that made them incredible. We hired them to play during our wedding ceremony, and I truly can't imagine working with a better group of musicians. They were incredibly professional, kind, and easy to work with leading up to the wedding and day-of; administrative details like the contract, discussion of logistical needs, and payment were crystal clear (not something I can say for other groups I reached out to). Every communication with them inspired confidence that they had their role covered, which was huge for my wife and I as we were planning the whole event ourselves. I have a background in music composition and performance, and can say with certainty that the quality of their musicianship is absolutely excellent. Their performances during our ceremony (3 songs: wedding party processional, bride processional, and recessional) remain a beautiful core memory of the day for us and our guests. We ended up having a trio of flute, violin, and cello, which was perfect for our space, sound, and budget, though you can feel confident that whatever combination of instruments/musicians fits your needs will be masterfully brought to life by this group. Cannot recommend them enough!

This is such a flexible, professional, and beautiful music ensemble. I worked with Krysia to schedule exactly what I wanted and then she spent time helping choose the songs I wanted for my outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. I had a flute and guitar and they were worth every penny. The prices seemed very reasonable also. I’m not a big fan of paying via check and snail mail, but it wasn’t a problem after all. I would not hesitate hiring them again for any event I was hosting!!

Krysia and her team were extremely responsive and helpful with throughout the planning process and offered music suggestions for our catholic mass. They incorporated beautiful renditions of jesu joy of man's desiring, canon in D, and wedding march during our ceremony. Additionally, we had requested a cello solo of "stand by me" that they ended up learning and executing beautifully; however, at the last minute the priest declined the piece to be played during mass (even though the parish had previously approved it). Krysia and her team did not miss a beat and switched songs minutes before the start of the ceremony- kudos that they handled this issue with such professionalism and flexibility!

Goldenwood Ensembles was very responsive to my daughter's requests for specific solo cello repetoire. They were very easy to work with. The cellist was excellent and was courteous and pleasant. The music was well done but not overly intrusive. He connected with my daughter over their mutual love of cello playing. All around a very nice addition to the wedding ceremony and would highly recommend them.

Goldenwood was fantastic for our big day! Krysia coordinated Marisa and Chiharu to play for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and they exceeded our expectations. It’s hard to trust in vendors that you haven’t worked with before, but I can’t recommend Goldenwood enough. The music was everything I had dreamed it would be, and they were so flexible and accommodating of all our requests. They made us feel so comfortable in the process along the way, and now it’s easy to see why - they know what they’re doing, and they’re fantastic at it!

We hired a Flutist & A Harpist. It was such a pleasure working with them. They were punctual, easy to work with, and so very talented! They added such a beautiful touch to my daughters wedding! Hire them, you will be so happy & amazed!

Krysia and Dennis (flute and guitar) played for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour in Bar Harbor, and the music was absolutely beautiful! I heard so many compliments from the guests. For a relatively small additional fee, they even composed a cover of one of our favorite songs by John Mayer for my processional, and it was such a magical experience to hear it as I walked down the aisle. Krysia is a pleasure to work with, she is so responsive and on top of everything. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in Maine - they made our day feel so special!

Krysia and team did such a wonderful job at my wedding (July 2022). I received so many compliments on how the music just added to the ambience both pre- and post- ceremony! They were attentive and understood our requests. Her ensemble was perfect for our summer, outdoor wedding in Maine on the coast. It was simply majestic, right out of a Nicholas Sparks book!

We hired a trio (flute, cello, violin) for our wedding at Pemaquid Point. My husband is a musician himself, and the ensemble was very accommodating of our preferences. We exchanged a number of emails and calls in order to draft a detailed playlist. They followed it perfectly and were extremely professional in their manner and dress. The music was beautiful and exactly the atmosphere we wanted to have for our small, intimate wedding.

I hired Goldenwood Ensembles for my son’s wedding and Krysia was very responsive, professional, and extremely detail-oriented. She asked about music choices, made recommendations, and went out of her way to learn, and flawlessly play a piece that the couple really wanted to include but had not been in their repertoire. The music was lovely (flute and guitar) and it set the tone for the ceremony. My mind was put at ease when Krysia contacted me a couple weeks before the big day to confirm every detail. She asked questions, answered my questions, and waited patiently on the line while I texted back and forth with the bride. The wedding ceremony was outdoors and the cocktail hour was to be outdoors too. As the procession began the clouds rolled in and thunder rumbled in the distance. Krysia and Dennis were under cover and played beautifully as the wind picked up and the rain lightly began to fall. Once the vows were exchanged and the couple was pronounced husband and wife, the party recessed and went back inside the building and the musicians followed. They moved their equipment to a new indoor site for the cocktail hour and continued to play as if that had been the plan all along. In summary, they are amazingly talented, professional, adaptable, and detail-oriented. Goldenwood Ensembles made my son and new daughter-in-law’s day magical.

One of the best decisions on my wedding! The music was great, I got pick songs that I liked, and the price was reasonable compared to other vendors I contacted. Krysia whom I worked with was very helpful. attentive and responsive. I highly recommend Goldenwood Ensembles!

We had a trio of two violins and a cello at our wedding reception at DiMillo's on the Water. They were amazing - a perfect accompaniment to our evening. We wanted a cocktail party to encourage guests to talk and get to know one another. The music was the exact right sound level for that. And really they just sounded incredible. For my daughter’s wedding in August 2021 in Oxford, ME, Goldenwood Ensembles did an amazing job! Krysia was very easy to deal with and always responsive! We had Krysia (flutist) and Dennis (guitarist) provide the music. They were very flexible as rain threatened both the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Fortunately we were able to proceed as planned! As agreed, we had a 10’ x 10’ tent available for the musicians to play under so to protect their instruments from sun and/or rain. We had numerous guests comment about the quality of the music. My daughter got married at a forest site under a canopy of trees. The music provided by Krysia and Dennis made the entire event magical!
