I originally found Ricky on Instagram (@goodeye.photography) and after a quick scroll through his page, I instantly knew he was who we needed. Every photo in his portfolio had emotion and love in them. After finding his Instagram page, I reached out and he very quickly responded with all necessary information. He communicated clearly and quickly throughout this entire process which was very appreciated! I plan events professionally and half the time it’s like pulling teeth to even get a response from someone. Never once did Ricky have a delayed response or leave us with more questions than answers. My husband is what we’d call “camera shy” and was pretty anxious leading up to our engagement shoot as this was his first time getting professional photos done. And while Ricky always behaves in a very professional manner, he also is extremely personable, friendly, and frankly just straight up funny. We instantly connected with him and he made my husband feel so much more relaxed - heck, my husband even had FUN during the shoot which I didn’t think possible haha. It goes without saying that the engagement photos were absolutely stunning… each one better than the last. As the big day drew nearer, Ricky met with us regularly and assisted us in our agenda, timeline, and all these other small details you don’t even think about. On the day of our wedding, Ricky and his team went above and beyond to capture every moment. He has an incredible eye for detail and was able to capture the essence of our day beautifully. (Petition for him to change his name from Good Eye Photography to Incredible Eye Photography ;) After the ceremony was over and it was time for my new husband and I to sneak off during cocktail hour to take our photos, a lovely wedding guest managed to spill red wine all down my white dress. Before I could even flinch, Ricky immediately jumped in and said “Don’t worry, I can edit out these red stains in all the pictures.” One of the BEST parts of working with Ricky is also his quick turnaround time. I wanna say it was like 5 days after the wedding and Ricky had already turned around a handful of “sneak peak” photos - which is quite impressive considering how many other weddings he had booked after ours. And to no ones surprise - there wasn’t a hint of red wine stains in any of the pictures =) Our wedding photos are more than what we could have ever hoped for. I may be biased, but truly some of these pictures deserve to be hung in the Louvre. I cannot recommend Good Eye Photography enough (and on that note it’s worth mentioning that since our engagement photoshoot with Ricky, two of my other friends that were engaged have also hired him and his team for their weddings)! If you are looking for a talented and passionate photographer who will go the extra mile to make your special moments unforgettable and your planning process a breeze, then Ricky is the guy for you.

It always felt like working with a friend and was easy to photograph with him. I have not worked with someone so flexible in my wedding planning and made everything feel natural. Something so important as your wedding photos I didn’t even give a second thought to after booking Ricky. I left everything in his hands and loved all of his input. He listens to all your suggestions and I swear he could envision anything I said to him when it came to photo ideas. His pricing is also very reasonable and honestly worth every penny and then some. We haven’t even received all of our photos back but our preview, which could fill a book on its own, had already been sent to a us and it hasn’t even been 2 weeks since our wedding. Literally we love Ricky so much I feel like I could keep raving about him.

We were able to have meetings with him and it really helped us feel secure that we were in the right track. He gave us a list of locations to do our engagement photos, what to wear and how to pose and super patient with our dog. Photos were received in a timely manner. On the actual wedding date Ricky was on time, organized and encouraging. We met his second shooter and they brought in all the good vibes. We had complete trust he would be able to capture all the moments and we just needed to enjoy our day. Ricky and his team worked fantastic with our videographers. They worked as a team and communicated very well throughout the whole day. When we look at our photos all the feeling comes back. From the bride's point of view, getting ready with my mother and sisters, seeing my father's teary eyes during the father and daughter first look and seeing how nervous my now husband was, it feels so nostalgic. It all went by so fast but with these photos I can hold on to those moments and never forget. From the groom's point of view, feels excited and amazed how many moments were capture.
