Good Eye Productions is an award-winning, cinematic wedding film company in South Portland, ME. For the past three years, we have captured the sights and sounds on the biggest day of these couples' lives. As an FAA-certified drone pilot, we capture scenic views of your venue to add a new dimension and view of your wedding day. Johnny has had video experience for over 10 years, previously working in local news, where efficient editing and time management were crucial. The constantly moving, journalistic filming style transitions perfectly to filming wedding festivities and promptly delivering a final product. We take pride in our work. first, I was negotiable on whether I’d have videography, but decided with a few months’ advance that I would definitely want sound from the day and video to look back on. Johnny was absolutely stellar! He brought his drone and got some overhead footage of the groomsmen’s day-of sail on the schooner Eleanor to our ceremony site, he got some excellent get-ready footage which I wanted to get, and also not to mention the next-day social media trailer as well as the full-length 5-minute video was put together so beautifully. Many people have commented to me about it and have been wowed. Most importantly, my husband and I feel it captured our day so eloquently that every time we look back on it, it’s a meaningful keepsake/coverage to have for life! Johnny is also super friendly and explains his terms and how he works really clearly that I felt very confident he would do a great job. I have found that camaraderie with vendors like Johnny goes a long way. Thank you, thank you, thank you Johnny!!

ead up to the big day. He was so quick and willing to answer all of my million questions! And then on our actual wedding day he was incredible, and worked so well and complimentary with our photographer. He made us all feel so comfortable on camera and caught the most amazing footage - including unique drone footage which was important to me! We woke up the next day being so sad that the celebration was over, and bam - we immediately received a teaser video the next day (plus a bonus clip since my husband decided to quote Drake in his vows 🤦🏼♀️). The rest of our video deliverables came very quickly too!! And wow. The final videos. I could watch them all day, every day. He captured every moment so perfectly and edited together a perfect flow with all the right clips and sound bites. Our wedding video brought tears to all of our family and friends, and I can’t imagine not having it to help us relive the best day. Johnny is the real deal - don’t think twice about booking him!

azing work, having such a creative eye and capturing every detail, many of which I didn’t get to see or never would’ve remembered on such a busy, emotional blur of a day, Johnny was an absolute pleasure! I would give him my business a thousand times over!
He was wonderful from start to finish and made the entire process, especially the business and timeline part of it, incredibly easy! My photographer actually took the time to contact me raving about how much she enjoyed working alongside Johnny which I think is SUCH a compliment, especially coming from another vendor! He was on top of everything but also very respectful, making sure all the girls were decent before taking the “getting ready” shots and he was great at blending into the atmosphere. I feel like I barely saw him yet he captured EVERYTHING!
I’m trying really hard not to be the obnoxious bride who makes everyone watch her wedding video… and then watch it again. But it’s just too exquisite not to share and people are actually asking to see it and thanking me for sharing it. It’s THAT amazing!!!

Absolutely worth the investment!! If you’re a budget bride, cut back on something else, cut out favors, cut out ANYTHING else… you won’t regret it! I remember my father asking me “is this really necessary??” and now he’s carrying the video around on his phone, showing anyone who will watch and asking “Who was this kid, where’d you find this guy? This is unbelievable!” and now we tease my dad cause you’ll walk into the room, his eyes are teary and red, and we say “Dad, are you watching the wedding video again???” It is 100% worth every penny and more!!

So when it came time to actually see the video he produced I was shocked with how stunning it looked. He captured so many intimate moments- I am so happy we hired him! I would also like to add that the day after the wedding he sent over a short reel of some of his favorite shots which were gorgeous and definitely made the morning after our wedding even more special- I have no idea how he had the time to put that together. nny was everything we ever dreamed of for a wedding videography - friendly, easy-going, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. We saw samples of his work from an event he did at our venue (for the venue owner's best friends - that's a big deal!) and we were absolutely amazed by his attention to detail, plus the drone footage was pretty sweet. He was so responsive throughout the entire process up through and past our wedding date. He had our social media short clip ready for us in 24 hours, which was the PERFECT way to relive our most special day over the course of our honeymoon. The best part about Johnny and Connor was that we didn't even realize they were there - they just seamlessly blended in with the festivities and got footage of our most magical, lifelong memories all recorded on camera. If we ever need a videographer in the future for another life event, Good Eye will be the first we reach out too. On our wedding day, Johnny was so relaxed and at ease. It's hard to believe that we were being filmed for almost 8 hours because most of the time I didn't even notice the camera. Yet, Johnny was able to capture each moment perfectly. We had so many guests tell us that they didn't noticed the video camera either!

He was super responsive via email & offered a very affordable elopement package. Upon talking to him we learned that he had previously worked for a news station & had even covered 2 Super Bowls. Literally the day after our wedding he sent us a 30 second “preview” & the full uncut ceremony footage.
