Hiring Good Mood was probably one of the best decisions we made for our big day! Working with Wes was just so much fun and he made the process so easy! I felt like my husband and I were able to curate an exact mood/vibe and Wes really delivered on that, the day of our wedding! Having great music and someone that was so amazing to work with made our lives so much easier in the wedding planning process and our guests raved about it after our wedding!! 1000% recommend you to have Good Mood as part of your big day, because you won't be disappointed and it'll be an absolute party!

GoodMood was the perfect choice for our wedding DJ! We hired DJ Marcus for our wedding, and the whole process was great from start to finish. We immediately loved their vibe from our first call, and could tell that we wouldn't be getting a corny DJ (our worst fear lol). Marcus was great about helping us with special family surprises during the reception, and catered the whole night to the mood we were hoping for! It was a PARTY! He was also great at mixing in music from both of our cultural backgrounds (Greek + Latin). Marcus also plays sax, which was a really fun add-on experience! I definitely recommend GoodMood, and specifically DJ Marcus, for your wedding or event!!

Quit reading this review and go book Good Mood to DJ your event because they are absolutely perfect! Our venue (Valentine DLTA) and day of coordinator (Pop the Champagne) recommended them to us and we could not be more thankful! After reaching out on the website, we were set up with Wes, our DJ (and hero)! From our first phone call with Wes, we knew we were going to be in the best hands possible based on all of the questions he asked us, his caring personality, and his extensive knowledge of music! He was really open to anything (like us playing "Choose Your Character" from Super Smash Bros. for our parties grand entrance)! He was extremely responsive over email and let us ask any question we wanted as we got closer to the wedding, he was extremely helpful in helping us figure out what kind of music we wanted thanks to a worksheet that had all types of questions and pre-made playlists on it (which we had a super fun night going through)! Wes even did a tiny edit on the Bride Processional song that had one lyric in it that didn't fit and NO ONE caught it! Wes was honestly the best DJ of all time and all of our guests complimented on how much he crushed it (especially when he hit the crowd with a steady diet of EMO/POP PUNK hits that we requested)! We cannot thank Good Mood and Wes enough for everything! Now... GO BOOK THEM!

I couldn’t be happier with the decision to hire GoodMood to DJ at our wedding! We initially found the company as a preferred vendor of our wedding venue. Working with Wes was seamlessly smooth all the way through. Right off the bat, he sent us a planning packet, which made the process of choosing songs less overwhelming. He was really open to working with our playlists, and was able to complement our song choices with songs from his library. GoodMood has an amazing music archive on Spotify. Everything is split up into genres, which is very helpful for brainstorming. He himself has great energy! I knew it was going to be awesome after we had our video planning call with him. He knows how to connect with the crowd in a fun way that keeps the party moving, without being abrasive or obnoxious. I told him that we wanted to keep the energy high from the start of the reception, and he definitely delivered on that. We had a weekday wedding, and our dancefloor was lit the entire night! So many people told us it was one of the most fun weddings that they’ve been to. I know I’m biased, but I truly believe that Wes played a large part in that, and we are so grateful!

Our wedding was perfect, and one of the big reasons why was Wes with good mood events! He curated the PERFECT play list that kept everyone on the floor dancing all night long, and it was such a good representation of us as a couple. As well as help us host a hilarious game. Working with him was a breeze, he was so friendly, helpful, and charismatic. I was really anxious and apprehensive prior to finding Good Mood as my only goal for our whole event was for everyone to have fun and we had a really large mix of individuals from different backgrounds and cultures that I wanted to be represented well. Wes absolutely delivered that! It was clear he is an expert at reading the room and delivering exactly what was needed, he even got my grandma on the dance floor! Their process was also incredibly stream lined and they give you paperwork that you can fill out (as much as you would like) to get to know you and your music taste. This really helped! The vibes were impeccable from start to finish! The only negative is that my bar for DJs is so incredibly high I don't think I will be able to work with anyone but Good Mood! Per several guests "I have never danced so much in my life, where did you find this guy" -my mother "omg everything was perfect! Your DJ was awesome" -maid of honor "darn, he cut me off, I had so much more to say" -someone who we really wanted to stop talking (thank's for that as well Wes!!!) Seriously, thank you for everything Wes! You're awesome! Thank you Good mood! And for everyone else reading, hire them! You will not regret it!

What an amazingly good time!!! Maxxwell was very thorough about finding out what kind of reception and vibe we wanted to have for our wedding, and he nailed it! From the very beginning all of our questions were answered and even when we didn't know how to describe some of ours thoughts, GoodMood came in clutch with great example playlists and the musical knowledge to make whole our half-formed thoughts. On the wedding day 4/6 (and in the weeks leading to it), we honestly didn't have to worry about music or set-up once. We just danced the night away. It was especially lovely for us, a queer couple, to have a queer DJ; we felt supported and celebrated. Book GoodMood, and ask for Maxxwell, for a ridiculously smooth experience and marvelous memories to last a life time <3

Maxxwell was our DJ at our Wedding in March 2024, and we had SUCH a blast. We got SO many compliments on how great the night moved and grooved because of Maxxwell's set. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend for all who are considering for any event. From the beginning process of discussing music taste to what we'd like to include, Maxxwell was professional, easy to talk to/personable, and helpful to navigate when we just had a vibe and not an exact answer. Our story with GoodMood began in 2019 when we got engaged and started planning our dream wedding in Pacific Palisades. We found the perfect venue, florist, photographer, and GoodMood and thought we were set for the summer of 2020. Flights were booked for to travel from Amsterdam, along with 20+ of our closest friends and family. This was right before the pandemic of course... Fast forward 6 months later, we contacted Wes to discuss our options, and he was more than accommodating. We postponed the wedding for one year and then another. In the meantime, we were given no pressure from GoodMood and they remained flexible with our changing plans. Then in 2022 we decided to have our wedding in the Netherlands where we reside and have a second celebration the following summer with our family and friends in California. When we finally contacted Wes with a complete change of plans, he was able to set us up with DJ Marcus, and the celebration ended up being far more fabulous than we could have imagined. We had a virtual meeting with Marcus a few weeks before flying to California, and really appreciated how relaxed yet professional he was. He took careful note of the kind of music we liked and how the party would include people from different countries, of all different ages, and music tastes from all genres. What we found amazing was how he seemed to feel the crowd and know exactly what to play and when. We received nothing but positive feedback from the guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding DJ than Wes. His knowledge, advice, and laidback attitude took the stress out of the daunting task of choosing our wedding songs. We wanted a very eclectic mix of KCRW/KIIS/Kpop and Wes somehow blended everything together seamlessly. Thank you again Wes!

We had such an awesome experience working with Wes to craft the “soundtrack” to our wedding day — from GoodMood’s helpful interactive document to help you musically brainstorm, to the fun and helpful calls/meetings we had with Wes talking about song selections, playlists, and overall vibes. Wes curated absolutely immaculate vibes that flowed from start to finish! Our guests did not leave the dance floor!

Wes is the MAN! Our wedding would not have been what it was without him. Every guest commented how "lit" our dance floor was lol and it led to the best memories of all time. Wes of GoodMood was our favorite wedding vendor! Music was important to us and we found it difficult to choose large DJ companies that didn't feel personable. Wes was the #1 rec from our wedding planner and we knew he was it from the first phone call. Wes is knowledgeable about music and most importantly its role in the flow of wedding. He was organized, prompt with communication, and sent us playlists to help us understand the vibes we wanted throughout our wedding, including cocktail and dinner hours. We had such confidence in Wes' skills that we only had to provide minimal notes. We got married at Estancia La Jolla and Wes seamlessly navigated 3 different sites throughout the wedding day. We highly recommend Wes if you want a cool DJ with the best vibe who really cares about you and your wedding day!

Absolutely LOVE GoodMood. We used GoodMood for our wedding and we could not be more impressed by and grateful for Wes and the whole team. Music was a VERY important part of our wedding. Not only did Wes absolutely crush the job, he made the whole planning process enjoyable, easy, and fun. I felt like he truly got to know our taste as a couple and did an excellent job at blending our music with songs for the whole party. Our guests are still talking about how iconic the music was! maxxwell from good mood's dj / mc-ing were truly a highlight of the already pretty perfect weekend and we're both so appreciative of him. so many of our friends and family were like "WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT DJ?" so we'll be recommending good mood forever + ever. maxxwell completely got our vibe, played such amazing flowing mixes and the mc-ing felt like a friend. i also know my mom appreciated his pep talk before her speech. i really hope we cross paths again, especially on the dance floor!

If there is one thing we did right, it was choosing Dom from Good Mood Events as our DJ! He took so much pressure off and made selecting and sharing our music easy. He is extremely kind and professional. We didn't have to worry about a single thing :) He also did a really great job of blending music from both our backgrounds so all the guests had a really great time.

Wes was a dream to work with. As people who cared a LOT about not having a cheesy DJ experience at our wedding, Wes was the perfect person to work with. He did everything - talk patiently through our play and don't play lists, sort through our hours long wedding music inspiration playlist, MC the wedding reception, and create the perfect afterparty playlist - with such class and positivity. Beyond having amazing taste in music, you want Wes by your side to keep your wedding on track and organized; he has an incredible calm yet confident demeanor that made the whole day run smoothly. He also flawlessly handled all of the microphone and speaker equipment needed at our outdoor ceremony (including live music) and reception, which is not an easy feat. 10/10!

We had Maxxwell at our wedding in Ojai, and I have to say, what a delight. The whole process of working with him was intuitive and comfortable. The music at our wedding was very important to us, and Maxxwell got that right away. Everything on the day was effortless. Could not be happier that we hired them.

My wife and I hired Dom to be our DJ for our wedding in Santa Barbara this past September, and he absolutely crushed it. Right from our first phone call with him we were completely at ease and we immediately knew we were in good hands. My wife and I love music and going to concerts, so it was extremely important to us to find a DJ who could help transfer our love of music to our wedding. Dom knew all of the bands we talked about, and was great at balancing making his own playlists while adding in music that we both loved. Once the dancing portion of the evening kicked in, Dom made sure the music was fully on point and everyone was having a great time. Our dance floor was legit packed for 3 straight hours and Dom is absolutely the biggest reason why. All of our guests made sure to tell us how much they loved him, and how none could remember a dance floor staying that consistently packed for so long. I cannot recommend Dom enough. I would absolutely hire him in a heartbeat for another party, and for anyone reading this in need of a good DJ.. don't think, just call!!

Dominic knocked it out of the park at our wedding. We had such a good time, and his DJing really helped us keep the party going. On top of that, he couldn't have been kinder, more relaxed, or more easy to work with. Six stars out of five!

Wes did an absolutely phenomenal job DJ'ing our wedding at the Long Beach Museum of Art. He worked closely with us to figure out our vibe, curated an awesome playlist, and made the entire night run smoothly. From choosing songs that fit the right feel for cocktail hour, to directing/MC'ing us through each event during our night, Wes proved that he is a master at his art. We got a bit delayed in our schedule due to late dinner service, but Wes adapted and kept things running smoothly while working with our wedding coordinator during the night. We even got several comments from our guests on how great of a job he did the entire night. A great DJ is an essential part of a wedding and we are so very happy that we chose Wes.

Wes was absolutely amazing! We were so happy with how everything turned out, and he was so easy to work with. We loved that from the beginning, he helped with narrowing down our song preferences. He provides sample playlists for all the big moments, which also gave us a preview into his own DJ style. Would definitely recommend Good Mood!

We are so pleased that we chose DJ Dom for our wedding! We had a large age range at our wedding and really hoped that there would be something for everyone. There was! We received several compliments from guests on the music, and the dance floor was never empty. It was a great atmosphere that led to many special moments between family and friends who haven't seen each other in a long time. Dom was so reliable and such a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. There was never any confusion about names for announcements, or last minute changes to our song choices or timeline. We had nothing to worry about on the day of, and everyone really had a great time!

My husband and I are picky about music and DJs, and we interviewed several DJs during our wedding planning process. Wes from Good Mood DJd our wedding at Bel Air Bay Club, and he was AMAZING! From the start, he was so responsive, understanding, and collaborative. We always enjoyed our phone calls with him, and he made us feel really confident and comfortable about the whole process. On the day of, Wes was super professional and ran everything perfectly, from announcing our toasters and helping me coordinate a surprise performance to playing awesome music! We really wanted people out on the dance floor, and Wes read the room expertly, keeping everyone dancing until the very end. A good dance party was a priority for us, and Wes really delivered. The DJ was the vendor we worried most about - until we met DJ Dom! Being an MC and DJ of a wedding reception is an art and a science - and DJ Dom is a master of both. His brand of low-key fun energy put us at ease. And he threw an absolutely amazing dance party for us!!! I wasn't sure whether our 200+ guests would be up for dancing for three hours - but the dance floor was packed until the very end. It was incredible. We are now two months post-wedding, and we continue to receive compliments on DJ Dom and his dance party. He exceeded our every expectation and did so much to make our wedding memorable - we truly can't thank him enough!

Dom from Good Mood DJs was an AMAZING wedding DJ to work with as well as an all around great guy. He made the entire music planning process extremely easy so it was one less thing for my husband and I to worry about. He was always reachable and every conversation felt like talking with a friend. He really understood our eclectic taste and the vibe we wanted to have. During the wedding reception, Dom proved he is extremely talented in how he transitions from one song into the next to make everything very fluid. He was genuine and professional with the emotional moments of the event, but also created an extremely fun atmosphere with the open dancing segment of the night.
