Good Omen Co.

My review is long overdue, but here it goes! My husband and I got married in November 2019 and we couldn't be any happier that we choose Good Omen for our wedding day! From the beginning (when we booked) to the end JB is amazing to work with. He always made sure to make us feel comfortable and he was super responsive when we had questions. You can tell that JB loves what he does! We really enjoyed that he also speaks spanish, so it was amazing to see him communicate with everyone and capture some great shots!! There is only one regret we have about Good Omen, we wish we would have booked them for the entire night because they are so worth it!!!! Nothing but amazing things to say about JB and his photography skills!

Using Good Omen Co for our wedding and engagement pictures was one of the best decisions we made! JB is such a positive and fun person, and he was able to immediately put us at ease even when we felt like a couple of fish out of water with the whole wedding planning process. Although it was a bit more than we'd initially projected for our photography budget, Good Omen was able work with us to create a custom option that was feasible for us. JB is incredibly talented, and he just made us feel so comfortable being ourselves while shooting. We're a pretty high energy, goofy, cheesy couple, and he was able to capture both the ridiculous dancing and the beautiful heartfelt moments as newlyweds. He did a great job capturing candid moments throughout our day without being disruptive. He has a great idea of what he's going for and could therefore give good direction, but also is ready to roll with your personality and mannerisms. That energy and creativity was also clear in group shots with our family and friends. One thing we didn't anticipate but really appreciated in retrospect was JB's efficiency- he was able to get wonderful pictures that we wanted and that aligned with his own vision, and did so in less time than we'd originally allotted for pictures. This allowed us to spend more time with our guests at our reception, which was such a surprise and a gift! We got our pictures a little less than 3 weeks after our wedding, and WOW! They tell a story, and we cannot stop looking at them and reliving all the joy of our wedding day together. We cannot recommend Good Omen Co highly enough- thank y'all so much for capturing our day with such artistry and care!

I feel like I hit gold finding JB and his company. I cannot recommend him enough to everyone. My husband and I had THE BEST experience with him shooting our engagement pictures. My fiancée and I are bit awkward in front of the camera because we are completely goofy people and cant take anything seriously. JB made us feel so incredibly comfortable and captured the fun and all the pure love My husband and I have for each other. He instructed us how to talk, walk, stand and pose, and he put us at ease and made us laugh so much. My friends and family fell in love with the photos that they gifted us a huge canvas of his work as the centerpiece of our gallery wall. Im definitely praying he doesn’t leave Houston so we can use him for all our family photos and holiday photos in the future, lol! I always tell everyone to INVEST IN A GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER for your event, especially your Wedding. These are precious, once in a lifetime moments, and the only thing that can help remember them all is through photos, and you will be looking back at them for a lifetime. They need to be able to capture the feeling and love you felt during that moment. JB and Val definitely do that. They are such a great energy to be around and they are such genuine caring people, not to mention INCREDIBLY TALENTED, and their photos speak for themselves.

I met Jorge at an open house for our venue. I instantly clicked with his personality. I love that his has different packages ranging in prices to fit your budget. Most photographers now just give you a flash drive with all your pics. And I love that Jorge gives photo albums still. Man are they beautiful!!!! Anyways being a couple who isnt use to being behind a camera. My husband hates taking pics!! But he loves Jorge and enjoyed taking pics just because he made everything comfortable and guided us along the way. Jorge listens to concerns and wants to hear all your ideas to bring them to life. The photos make me speechless every time I see them. I always get compliments saying how each photo is better than the last. Jorge is a great guy, runs his business very well (communication, payment, turn around time), and I’m so happy he was our photographer. Seriously he is so talented!!! He will make all your photos look magical!! I can’t wait to try to talk him into maturity/family pics in the future!!!

Jorge was very professional since the first moment we spoke to the very end. Good Omen Co. was by far my favorite vendor, JB and Valerie make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and make everything feel so natural. I am very happy I hired Good Omen Co. to record/photograph my wedding. You will not be disappointed, they are worth every penny!

We LOVE Val and JB!! We heard about them through a friend who had selected them for their wedding, and as soon as we saw their work online, we were HOOKED. JB has such a keen eye for those beautifully candid moments, and for keeping everyone looking very natural and genuine. He also knows how to capture EXACTLY what you are looking for in a shoot - I wanted bluebonnets for my bridal portrait session and he found the most AMAZING location for me. The bridal portraits are stunning! On the big day, JB and Val made the perfect team! They were well organized and did a great job communicating with me about their plans for the day. From our first look, to our many different family photos, to the ceremony, to the reception, they captured EVERY moment beautifully. They really saw how silly and fun our bridal party was and that shines through in every photo. I love ALL of our pictures - and still can't decide which ones to print! Love love love Good Omen Co. and HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a photography team for their wedding.

We can’t even begin to say how happy we are that we found Jorge to capture our engagement pictures and wedding! Neither of us feel all that comfortable with getting our pictures taken but Jorge makes it so fun, we didn’t even care. All the pictures look so genuine, you can feel the love. Nothing feels forced or stiff and posed. The wedding day goes by so fast, we are so grateful that he captured everything we wanted to remember about that day and more. Thank you!!

I worked with Jorge earlier this month, and I highly recommend him to any couple who is looking for an easy going photographer who captures beautiful art! Jorge did a great job at following the timeline I had created, and making our client's feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our bride had a list of specific pictures she wanted to take, and he made sure he captured them. I hope to have the opportunity to work with Good Omen Co. again in the future!

My husband and I can’t say enough great things about Jorge and his wife Val. We recommend Good Omen to everyone we know! Jb has such great communication throughout the whole process, that was one less thing I had to worry about when planning our wedding. His work is amazing!! He will literally make you and your spouse look like you belong on Pinterest. & let’s face it, that’s where I got all of my wedding inspiration from. Our wedding was November 2017 and we still get so many compliments on our photography/videography. They are one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They captured the whole event spectacularly. When we seen what great pictures he and his wife took of us for our engagement session we knew everyone would love them just as much as we did! My husband is a bit shy & dislikes taking so many pictures but Jorge made him feel so comfortable, he smiled in every picture. & That right there, is a huge deal for me. When we seen our photos & video of the wedding I cried happy tears, We couldn’t believe how beautiful everything turned out! After our wedding we also hired them to take our maternity pictures. When people see our pictures they are literally in awe of how great they look. I can’t wait for our son to be old enough to sit up because we will hire them again to do a at home family session! The Good Omen team has such a great eye for detail, it shows in all of our photos and videos. I will continue to hire them over and over again.

We hired JB after witnessing the amazing job he did at our bestfriend’s wedding. He was great from start to finish. From the day I reached out to him for pricing to delivering the pictures and answering questions about prints and albums. Out of everything we paid for for our wedding, Goodomen was the best investment. After the wedding the only thing left is memories, photos, and video and we are very impressed with our investment. I highly recommend Goodomen for anybody’s photography needs!

From Beginning to end JB did an amazing at capturing every moment of our wedding .
